Lindsey Vonn: My $1.7 Million Debt in Back Taxes Is an Important Lesson

Lindsey Vonn has been slapped with $1.7 million tax lien by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). According to public records, the World Cup and Olympic champion skier and estranged husband Thomas Vonn owe $1,705,437 in delinquent federal taxes. She has since addressed the situation through her Facebook account.

"I am disappointed with this situation," the 27-year-old athlete wrote Sunday, April 15. "I just recently became aware of the outstanding balance and I have done everything in my power to settle it immediately. The money owed was for the 2010 tax year, which was filed on time, and it has been paid in full."

Directed by Philip Kaufman, the movie recounts the passionate love affair and tumultuous marriage of literary master Ernest Hemingway and the beautiful, trailblazing war correspondent Martha Gellhorn. It follows the adventurous writers through the Spanish Civil War and beyond.

The weekend one of the 2012 Coachella Music Festival has been closed with a spectacular performance by Snoop Dogg and co. During the peak performance on Sunday, April 15, the Doggfather has brought back rap legend Tupac Shakur to life through a high-tech 3D hologram image.

Rocking acid-washed jeans circa 1995, the hologram image of 2Pac appeared shirtless before greeting the crows, "What up, Coachella!" It then joined the "What's My Name" rapper in performing such hits as "Hail Mary" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted".

The Marvel Studios President of Production claimed that the exclusion was made because director Edgar Wright was too slow in delivering a standalone "Ant-Man" movie.

"Edgar's still working on that [Ant-Man] project, and it's closer than ever," Feige told Toronto Sun. "But it's been eight years we've been working with him, and we finally decided we couldn't keep putting more people in. If Ant-Man had come out four years ago, it would certainly have been part of the puzzle."

The third series of "Downton Abbey" could be Maggie Smith's last. There's a report out there that the depicter of Dowager Countess is not going to renew her contract after the end of the season because she wants to go back to theater and feature films.

Smith, according to Daily Mail's source, has notified writer Julian Fellowes that she wants her character to be written out. "Maggie has asked Julian to write her character out. She is filming until August and then wants to leave, going out on a high. She thinks that three series is enough and she wants to get back to the stage and big screen," the source said.

"Saturday Night Live" musical guest, Gotye, was in one of the highlighted sketches. The show's regulars Andy Samberg and Taran Killam played the musician's die hard fans who would go far in showing their love of him.

Andy and Taran introduced themselves inside Goyte's room, but things got creepy when the pair refused to leave. When finally Gotye was able to drive them away, the duo returned from behind him fully naked. They recited the painted bodies in Gotye's music video of "Somebody I Used to Know".
