98 Degrees Reunion Reportedly in Works

The first update in ten years on 98 Degrees' official website set the band's fans in frenzy over the possibility of the boys reuniting. There is still no official announcement, but RumorFix suggests that the boy band that were popular back in late 1990s and early 2000s will do a fifteen-city reunion tour this summer.

Members of the band, Nick Lachey, Jeff Timmons, Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre, did not help to clarify the news. Without giving a direct answer, they dropped hints on Twitter such as "Is it just me or does [98degrees.com] look a little different that it did yesterday? just saying" and "Look, you never can believe rumors, but I'd be open to it for sure!"

Nearly two years after he got arrested for driving under the influence for the second time, the actor who reprises his role as Chris Ostreicher in "American Reunion" finally comes clean about his extended battle with alcoholism.

Speaking of his alcohol abuse, the 33-year-old actor admitted in a new interview with PEOPLE, "It got to the point where I was a fragile shadow of the young man that came into this business." He further noted, "I would have died, and I think about that every single day." Having been sober for nearly 19 months, he gushed, "Today, I'm the luckiest guy alive."

Chris Rock's Late-Night Talk Show Picked Up by FX

FX has given a go to another late-night talk show in addition to Russell Brand's "Strangely Uplifting". The freshly picked-up series comes from another top-notch entertainer Chris Rock, who will serve as an executive-producer.

The network has ordered six episodes of the half-hour socio-political series, which is going to star standup comedian W. Kamau Bell. The show is set to have its debut this summer and will "dissect politics, pop culture, race, religion, the media and sex" in weekly basis.

Official: The Wanted to Perform on 'American Idol'

The boys from The Wanted are coming to "American Idol", so it's confirmed on their Twitter page. Max George and his bandmates are scheduled to perform on the singing competition during a result show that will air on April 5.

"We are excited to announce we will be performing on American Idol on 5th of April!! #TheWantedOnIdol," they tweeted. Jay McGuiness additionally wrote on his own page, "I can safely say we wouldn't be there if it wasn't for our fans. #thankyoueveryone."

Long-Gestating 'The Flash' Movie Is Not Dead Yet

It's been more than a year since the last time fans heard about "The Flash" movie project. While fanboys have been questioning whether or not the superhero film is still in the works, screenwriter Dan Mazeau has broken the good news that the project is not dead yet. The "Wrath of the Titans" scribe confirmed that Warner Bros. Pictures is still actively developing the big screen take on the DC Comics' character.

"I think Warner Bros. is finalizing their strategy of how they want to roll out their DC superheroes, and obviously they've got Batman in an incredibly great place, and Green Lantern, I think, performed okay," Mazeau told Blastr. "I think they probably would have liked it to have done better, but yeah, there is still a whole lot of excitement for the DC universe, and I know The Flash is very high on the list."

The promotional video highlights one of the ferocious monsters in the film called the Cyclops. The cannibal one-eyed giant, who lives in an ancient forest, possesses brute strength and wields giant clubs to crush its enemy.

Cyclops is not the only fearsome creature this upcoming fantasy movie has to offer. Among those that are hard to defeat by mere mortals are multi-headed Chimera that can burst fire, double-bodied Makhai army that can beat down thousand of troops easily, and horned beast Minotaur that dwells in an endless labyrinth.

"Prometheus" has yet to get its rating from the MPAA, but director Ridley Scott has opened up about what rating grade he favors for the highly anticipated space thriller movie. Confessing that he still doesn't know what rating the MPAA will give to the film, the 74-year-old director said, "Right now I don't know where we are." He added, "The question is, do you go for the PG-13, or do you go for what it should be, which is R?"

New Ad of 'Dallas' Reboot Recreates Shower Scene From Original Show

Country music industry has lost one of its legends. Bluegrass icon Earl Scruggs, who popularized a 3-finger banjo-picking style, passed away on Wednesday, March 28 morning. According to his son Gary, the Country Music Hall of Famer died of natural causes at the age of 88 in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital.

As news of Scruggs' passing spread, condolences began to pour in from the country music world. Grand Ole Opry tweeted, "We're saddened by Earl Scruggs' passing. Robin Gibb underwent another surgery for his intestinal problem on Sunday, March 25 and was forced to cancel several more performances. A statement was released to the British media on Wednesday that the Bee Gees member is "currently recovering in hospital and therefore, for the time-being, all existing commitments prior to the Titanic Requiem concert, have had to be canceled."

Gibb was rushed to hospital in October last year for abdominal pain. A month later, his wife revealed that the singer had been diagnosed with colon and liver cancer. The 62-year-old pulled through the life-threatening situation and was back on the stage after saying he had a "spectacular" recovery. He was said in remission for the cancer earlier this month.

Clay Aiken Took a Jab at Rihanna's Singing Skill

Rihanna once again becomes the subject of diss after KISS' Gene Simmons put the word out there that she is one of those "karaoke" singers. This time, a similar comment came from "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken who is currently one of the remaining contestants on "The Celebrity Apprentice".

Aiken made an appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens" in which host Andy Cohen asked which pop singer out there will not make it pass the first few rounds of "Idol". He said, "Oh God, there're too many. Too many...Current pop singer? I've stopped listening to them because they can't sing." He added, "Um...Rihanna has some pitch problems for sure. She does...Now I'm gonna get in trouble, too."

'The Avengers' Set to Close 11th Tribeca Film Festival

The Tribeca Film Festival this year will end on a high note. Announced on Wednesday, March 28 was the closing film which lands to Joss Whedon's "The Avengers". The event officially becomes the New York premiere.

Per the press release, local heroes would be invited as guests to the April 28 screening. The organizers will make use of this event to "celebrate everyday heroes from police agencies, fire departments, first responders and various branches of the U.S. military."
