Taylor Swift Remembers Whitney Houston as 'Relatable'

Taylor Swift has opened up about how she remembered Whitney Houston. In an interview held at the premiere of "The Lorax", the "Mine" hitmaker said to E! Online, "I was a huge fan of Whitney." She further gushed, "And I was also a fan of her spirit. She was always smiling and I just always felt like she was relatable."

During the chat outside Universal Studios Hollywood on February 19, Taylor went on explaining, "When I was growing up, I'm pretty sure that was my first exposure to poetry." The former flame of Joe Jonas additionally said, "And I just loved it."

Whitney Houston's Daughter Not Using Drugs After Singer's Funeral, Rep Insists

Words have run rampant that Bobbi Kristina had gone missing after the funeral service of her late mother Whitney Houston last Saturday, February 18. According to The Daily Beast, the 18-year-old was found several hours later "getting high" at a hotel. A spokesperson for the Houston family, however, insisted that she was not using drugs.

"There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina's whereabouts last night for a short time, but she's OK," the family representative was quick to clarify to the publication. Stating that Houston's daughter with Bobby Brown is just emotionally fragile, the rep added, "She needed some time alone. She is going through a very hard time as you can expect."

Lily Collins admitted that securing the role of Snow White in Tarsem Singh's "Mirror Mirror" was one of her biggest achievements in acting. The 22-year-old actress confessed that at first she couldn't even believe she was chosen for the part, and thought that she fell victim to a prank when she was offered the coveted role.

In a recent interview with Hello magazine, Collins said that she was initially "angry" when she got a phone call asking her to portray Princess Snow White, which she dubbed as the biggest role she's ever had. "It was April Fool's Day, so when I got to the phone call I thought someone was playing a prank on me," she recalled.

The 34-year-old actor is currently preparing an epic movie based on Old Irish legends called "Irish Myths".

Variety reported that Fassbender has teamed up with "Public Enemies" screenwriter Ronan Bennett to develop a feature film about legendary Celtic warrior Cuchulain. The German actor is expected to star as the lead hero, who is the central character in the Ulster Myth Cycle epic series.

Obama was not able to personally attend the dinner gala, but he did send a video message for Ali. Having wished the former heavyweight champion a happy birthday, he said, "As a fighter, you were something spectacular. You shocked the world, and you inspired it, too. And even after all the titles and legendary bouts, you're still doing it."

"The Hunger Games" has provided a better and closer look at each of its key characters through several new images. Unveiled on its official website, these freshly released photos feature close-up shots of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in their training suits, as well as a picture of Gale Hawthorne standing amongst the crowd on the announcement day.

There are also pictures that give a closer look at Effie Trinket, Caesar Flickerman, Cinna, Haymitch Abernathy, President Snow and Seneca Crane. Two other photos also display Katniss and Peeta's strongest rivals, Cato and Clove. The tributes from District 2 are seen in the images wearing their training suits.

MC5 Bassist Michael Davis Dies of Liver Failure

MC5 have just lost another of their members. Michael Davis, the veteran rocker who joined the band as a replacement for original bass player Pat Burrows in 1964, lost his month-long battle against liver disease on Friday, February 17. His wife, Angela, said that he passed away at the Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California after suffering liver failure.

Davis was diagnosed with Hepatitis C back in 2005. When talking about his battle against the disease in his blog, the 68-year-old put the blame on years of heavy alcohol and drug use. His death came more than 15 years after the passing of two other original members, Rob Tyner in 1991, and Fred Smith in 1994.

Whitney Houston Has Been Buried Next to Her Father in New Jersey

A day after family and friends mourned her loss and celebrated her career at a star-studded funeral, Whitney Houston was finally laid to rest. The "I Will Always Love You" hitmaker was buried next to her father, John Russell Houston Jr., at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey in a private, invite-only burial Sunday, February 19.

The 48-year-old pop icon was transported from the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark to the Fairview Cemetery in a gold hearse and a police-escorted motorcade. E! Online detailed the motorcade consisted of six limos, five cars and a large black SUV. Following behind her hearse was a black Chevy pickup truck that is filled with such flowers as light purple roses, pink carnations and white lilies.

Bobby Brown confirmed that he only stayed for Whitney Houston's funeral for a couple of minutes due to being offended. The ex-husband of the late singer came to New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ on Saturday, February 18 with nine people in tow. He paid respect in front of Whitney's casket and then left in an SUV with his entourage.

"My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move," Bobby said in a statement.
