'The Big Bang Theory' Tops 'American Idol' in Adults Demo

"The Big Bang Theory" might have lured adult viewers away from "American Idol" on Thursday night, January 19. The 100th episode of the comedy series drew a 5.3 rating in 18-49 demo when it aired from 8:30-9:00 P.M., besting the singing competition which pulled in a 5.2 rating in the same half hour.

In term of total viewers, however, "Idol" garnered more audience than "Big Bang". The FOX reality series averaged 16.41 million viewers, while the CBS comedy series attracted 15.84 million people in the common half hour.

Breaking-up after seven years of marriage doesn't mean Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony couldn't stand working with each other. In fact, the "I'm Into You" singer is comparing her relationship with her estranged husband post-split to that of Sonny Bono and Cher.

42-year-old Jennifer was asked by a producer about her on-screen chemistry with Marc in the premiere episode of "Q'Viva! The Chosen", which was screened Thursday, January 19 for a handful of journalists at the Soho House in Los Angeles. In her response, the "American Idol" judge joked, "[It's] very Sonny & Cher after the divorce."

Julia Roberts and Alec Baldwin Added to Ryan Murphy's All-Star Film 'Normal Heart'

"The Normal Heart", an upcoming drama directed and produced by "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy, has added more top film stars to join Mark Ruffalo in the cast ensemble. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Julia Roberts and Alec Baldwin have been tapped to star in the film, which is an adaptation of the Tony-winning play of the same title.

Roberts is set to play Emma Brookner, a wheel-chair bound doctor who concerned about the raise of HIV/AIDS in New York's gay community in the 1980s. Baldwin, meanwhile, is set to tackle the part of a lawyer who has a hard time dealing with his sibling's sexual orientation.

Ed Sheeran has debuted a music video for his latest single "Drunk". The U.K. singer takes his fans to one jam-packed concert to another. Beside highlighting his journey on the road, the clip also gives glimpses at his working in the studio.

"Drunk" is one of the singles from Sheeran's debut album "Plus" which has been released across the pond since September 2011. Through the album, he scores a British Album of the Year nomination at 2012 BRIT Awards. He is additionally up for British Single, thanks to its song "The A Team".

'Nikita' Showrunner Teases a Lot of Death in This Season

There will be more blood spilled on "Nikita". Showrunner Craig Silverstein recently said that they are going to start killing off some characters of The CW's thriller series. "We've built up a lot of [cast members], and so we've got to start killing them off," he told TVLine before jokingly adding, "Frankly, I can't afford them all!"

While he remained mum on who will see the demise, Silverstein did admit that secondary characters like Roan and the Guardians are the potential victims. However, the series regulars are not necessarily safe from getting the axe as he noted that Ashton Holmes' Thom, who was killed off in season 1, was a regular.

Details of Etta James' Final Moments Shared by Son

As the world mourns the death of Blues legend Etta James, one of her sons is offering details of her final moments at a Riverside, California hospital. On Friday, January 20, the same day the 73-year-old singer died from complications of leukemia, Donto James told PEOPLE, "She basically passed in my arms."

"I was able to share everything I needed to say to her, from praying to listing her accomplishments as a mother," he recalled. "I told her that I loved her. I said, 'You were a wonderful mother, you did a wonderful job, your seven grandchildren love you, and they will be okay.' "

Details for one of "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II" scores have been uncovered. It's a piano song that will be played on screen by Robert Pattinson and Mackenzie Foy, who portray the father/daughter duo Edward and Renesmee in the upcoming movie.

The song is composed by Carter Burwell. In a recent interview with The Sag Harbor Express, he dished on, "In the movie I'm working on right now, which is 'Breaking Dawn: Part II', they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen."

"The Queen of Versailles" has found its North American distributor at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. In the second sale on Friday, January 20, Magnolia Pictures obtained the theatrical rights to the Lauren Greenfield documentary, which was screened to a sold-out opening night at the annual film festival.

The documentary focuses on developer David Siegel, his wife Jackie and their family, who build a 90,000-square-foot Florida home modeled after the palace outside of Paris. Greenfield directed the film with her husband Frank Evers serving as the executive producer.

"We agreed on no presents, but I told him that I had something that was very, very small, which it was - at the time it was the size of an appleseed," she said with a giggle.

Speaking to VentureBeat, Ira Rothken stated that the husband of singer Alicia Keys had no formal role with the company. "To my knowledge, Swizz Beatz was never involved in any meaningful way. He was negotiating to become the CEO, but it was never official," so the lawyer said.

Original Tuskegee Airmen to Attend George Lucas' 'Red Tails' Screening

The original Tuskegee Airmen are expected to attend the special screening of George Lucas-produced film "Red Tails" at the downtown Hayward theater on Friday, January 20. Three aviators from the all-black World War II squadron are set to take part in the premiere event along with representatives from the Bay Area Black Pilots Association and East Bay Aviators Inc.

Executive director of East Bay Aviators, Ben Henderson, said that the Airmen are set to arrive at the venue around 11 A.M. and stay for a reception to watch the movie. In addition to inviting those pilots to the Hayward special screening, there have been plans to build a Tuskegee Airmen Museum at the California Air National Guard site at the Hayward Executive Airport.

'Bel Ami' to Have World Premiere at 62nd Berlinale

"Bel Ami" will be found among out of competition films at the Berlin International Film Festival, it has been announced. The period drama starring Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman will consequently have its world premiere at the event.

The movie actually has been shown at special screenings in various Belgian cities in early January for female audience only, but the Berlinale would be its first public screening.
