LL Cool J Officially Tapped to Host 2012 Grammy Awards

LL Cool J was a big part of Grammy nominations concert in November last year, not only being the host, but also the performer and producer. It has just been announced that the rapper is slated to play the role of host again, but this time on the big show which takes place February 12 in Los Angeles.

"I'm thrilled to be part of Music's Biggest Night," LL said in a statement. "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammys Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music - it's gonna be a great night!"

Funny or Die Spoofs 'Rugrats' in Disturbing Red Band Trailer

Funny or Die has poked fun at "Rugrats" by releasing a faux red band trailer of a live-action take on the Nickelodeon animation. Instead of showing the loveable toddlers in hilarious scenes, the video features the characters in a quite disturbing way.

In it, Angelica Pickles is seen murdering her grandpa by striking his head with a baby bottle. She then forces the rest of the toddlers to keep it secret by intimidating and manipulating them. At some points, she is also seen threatening orange-haired Chuckie Finster.

Photo: Castle and Beckett Get Intimate in Classic Set

"Castle" will go back to the 1940s for an upcoming episode. In a picture from the February 6 outing, the title character and his partner Beckett are clad in vintage outfits while he holds her close to him.

In the said episode, "Castle comes across a diary that links the events of a murder back to 1947," executive producer Andrew Marlowe said. "As he reads, he pictures himself as a '40s P.I. and Stana [Katic] as a gangster's moll who owns a nightclub. Our fans will fall in love with Stana all over again."

Around 35 kids joined Harlow, who was seen eating pizza, juice and a sugar-free Cake Diva confection, at the bash which was made merry by a visit from Woody, Jessie and Buzz, the characters from the Pixar film. Gavin Rossdale, Sara Gilbert, Rachel Zoe and Tobey Maguire's wife, Jen Meyer, also brought along their children.

Lindsay Lohan on Track to End Probation in March With Second Glowing Report

Lindsay Lohan is stepping closer to putting her legal trouble behind. The April Booth of "Machete" appeared before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner on Tuesday, January 17 for her latest probation hearing, and was told if she continues to fulfill her court-ordered obligations, she could end her probation in March.

During the hearing, Judge Sautner told LiLo, "Just keep doing what you're doing, you appear to be doing it well. The probation officer has written a favorable report, as has the volunteer center." She noted that the 25-year-old actress had completed 12 days of required community service at the morgue, 4 mandatory psychotherapy sessions and meeting with her probation officer.

The first viewing of a scene from "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II" is about to be unleashed in the foreseeable future. It has been announced that Target stores will unveil a sneak peek of the highly anticipated film on Friday night, February 10 during the Blu-ray and DVD release of "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I".

Around 500 selected Target stores across the U.S. are set to extend their store hours to 1 A.M. to host the exclusive world premiere of the sneak peek at the final installment of the "Twilight Saga" movie series. Tickets for the DVD/Blu-ray will be distributed in Guest Services starting at 9 P.M., while the clip will be screened at 11 P.M.

A contestant of "Big Brother Brasil" has allegedly been caught on camera raping another housemate. In a scene aired on the Brazilian version of "Big Brother", Daniel Echaniz lied next to Monique Amin, who passed out after getting drunk in a house party, and appeared to have sex with her under the covers.

After the seven-minute footage created a buzz, Brazilian police announced on Tuesday, January 17 that they have begun investigating the case. "The young woman denies she was raped and has not pressed charges," Rio de Janeiro police spokeswoman Edileide Macedo said of the alleged victim, 23-year-old Amin. "We continue to investigate the case because it is a public matter."

'The Glee Project' Officially Renewed for Season 2

Now that the fourth season of "Glee" is on the horizon, the second season of "The Glee Project" is officially on the go. Oxygen announced that it has renewed the reality competition show for summer premiere with additional number of contenders, new themes and all new music.

The network actually began casting for the second season in September 2011 but it was halted because the mothership was not yet given a renewal. It would be a problem because winner of the competition should get a guest role on "Glee" as the prize. 'Jersey Shore' Aims to Film in Jersey City Next

"Jersey Shore" has done Italy and Miami, and now the gang are looking at Jersey City as their next destination. Producers of the reality show reportedly are scouting location closer to Manhattan for the upcoming sixth season. They have even been in touch with Jersey City officials to obtain the filming permit.

Jersey City is not the only location in their list for they are also interested in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, but it is the cast's favorite. City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill told MTV News, "Even Snooki and the cast of 'Jersey Shore' know that we have everything - great restaurants, hotels, culture, diversity and proximity to New York City without New York City prices."
