Ricky Gervais Says He Won't Be Hosting the Golden Globes Again

This year's Golden Globes will likely be the last time for Ricky Gervais hosting the HFPA-presented show. At the HBO post-Golden Globes party, the British actor ruled out the possibility of tackling the same duty for the fourth time. "I'm really done this time. It's enough," he stated. "Three is plenty - at least that's what Charlie Sheen told me."

While hosting the Sunday, January 15 ceremony, Gervais inserted an expletive word in his line. Asked if it was his way of getting back at the HFPA, the co-creator of "Life's Too Short" quickly cleared things up as saying, "Oh no no no. The censors knew it was coming. That was planned."

Once he got in front of the mic, the Matt King of "The Descendants" started waving the cane around to the audience's amusement. He, however, was quick to assure the crowd that he's only borrowing it for a while. "I have to give it back to him," he said, before joking, "He can't make it to the bar otherwise."

Jim Carrey Is Long-Haired Street Magician on 'Burt Wonderstone' Set

Jim Carrey has been snapped channeling his inner street magician on the set of his upcoming film "Burt Wonderstone". Rocking long blond hair and tattoos as well as a ragged jacket, the comedian was photographed filming a scene at Freemont Street in Las Vegas on Friday, January 13.

In between breaks, Carrey was seen joking around with the crew while tossing his long hair. Also caught on camera on the set was Steve Carell, who tackles the lead character in the movie. The 49-year-old actor was spotted donning a sparkling red tux and a black shirt during the shooting.

Jessica Lange might be one of the familiar faces who can be seen in "American Horror Story" season 2. Met backstage at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, the actress revealed she is considering to sign up for the new chapter of the FX horror show.

"I don't know much more than anybody in this room but yes, we are considering a second season," she said before adding, "Nothing is definite yet." Asked who else from the original cast ensemble that might return, she replied, "That's going to be entirely up to [the producers]. I know that everybody that is returning will be playing a different character."

The twosome were at the time seen braving the cold together in New York City's West Village. 27-year-old Wilde kept warm by donning a black coat, jeans and boots, while 36-year-old Sudeikis sported a bright blue jacket and a pair of sneakers. They both had a cup of coffee in their hands.

A new look at Katniss Everdeen, Haymitch Abernathy and Effie Trinket are featured in a fresh still from "The Hunger Games". Making its way out via Los Angeles Times, the brand new image sees the three key characters sitting on a couch at the Capitol while showing off a serious look in their faces.

Katniss is seen wearing black pants and flat shoes while sitting beside her drunkard mentor, Haymitch, who holds his drink while placing one of his legs on a table. Effie, meanwhile, looks eye-catching in a never-before-seen green costume. The three seem to be watching what could be a footage from a previous Hunger Games.

While gleeks are anticipating for a Michael Jackson tribute episode, Ryan Murphy is already preparing another special outing of "Glee". The show's creator recently revealed to TV Guide that he plans to do an episode to honor The Bee Gees' "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack.

"We've never done disco on the show, but I'm interested in the genius of The Bee Gees," Murphy gushed, hinting at a music genre that will be featured in the April episode. Asked if John Travolta who starred in the 1977 film will make appearance, he promised, "I would ask him."

The man mentioned by Peter Dinklage at the end of his acceptance speech at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards turns out to be a fellow dwarf who faces life in a wheelchair due to an attack by a drunk stranger. According to The Daily Mail, Martin Henderson is an aspiring actor who was left partially paralyzed after being picked up and thrown to the ground.

The 37-year-old suffered injuries to his back and legs because of the incident that took place in October 2011 outside a pub in Wincanton, Somerset. He blamed the English rugby team players, which included Zara Phillips' husband Mike Tindall, for the incident since it happened after they attended a dwarf-tossing contest at the World Cup in New Zealand.

New 'Prometheus' Photo Unveils Space Jockey Gears in Dark Tunnel

A new image from "Prometheus" has been revealed via Los Angeles Times. Aside from offering a look at Noomi Rapace's lead character standing in a tunnel in her space suit, the fresh still unveils two alien suits that look similar to the giant creature called Space Jockey in 1979's "Alien".

Though director Ridley Scott has yet to confirm the appearance of Space Jockey in "Prometheus", the photo shows that the extraterrestrial creature will likely appear in the much awaited thriller. The speculation was strengthened as several leaked photos from the production of the film revealed an early work on a mask design of Space Jockey in the upcoming movie.

New Clip of 'Walking Dead' Season 2 Features New Characters

As it was promised before, a new sneak peek for "The Walking Dead" has been debuted on Sunday, January 15. Taken from the first episode in the second half of season 2, "Nebraska", the clip offers a glimpse of two new characters who show up while Rick is having a conversation with Hershel.

Prior to releasing the promo video, AMC announced at the TCA winter press tour that the post-apocalyptic horror series will return with new episodes starting Sunday, February 12 at 9/8c. During the Saturday, January 14 panel, executive producer Glen Mazzara also talked what fans will see in the remainders of the season.

Hulu made use of its first TCA appearance on Sunday, January 15 to announce its first original scripted series "Battleground". Featuring mostly young unknown actors in the cast ensemble, the series is a political mockumentary/dramedy that chronicles behind the scenes of a Democratic primary campaign for a U.S. Senate seat in Wisconsin.
