Alan Cumming Finally Able to Marry Boyfriend in America

Alan Cumming is married to the same person twice. The "The Good Wife" star announced on Twitter that he and partner Grant Shaffer did not just renew their vows on Saturday, January 7 but also held a second wedding at New York's Soho Grand Hotel.

"On the 5th anniversary of our wedding in London grant and I tied the knot again in NYC!!!" Cumming wrote on the microblogging site and posted a photo of them embracing on top of a bar. The couple applied for a civil partnership at the Old Royal Naval College Greenwich in London five years ago because New York only legalized same-sex marriage last June.

'The Good Wife' 3.13 Preview: Defending Another Lawyer

Jason Biggs turns to "The Good Wife" for help in an upcoming episode of the legal series. The "American Pie" actor guest stars as a lawyer who is willing to pay a lot to keep him away from jail after the government arrests him for not revealing the name of an anonymous client; a mysterious computer programmer who illegally invented a new online currency.

In addition to Biggs, the said outing will feature Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni, and Bob Balaban as Treasury Department representative Gordon Higgs. Titled "Bitcoin for Dummies", it will air Sunday, January 15 at 9/8c on CBS.

A brand new trailer for forthcoming sci-fi film, "Chronicle", has been unleashed. A courtesy of Trailer Addict, the snippet which is titled "The Thing" sees a scene where Alex Russell's Matt and Michael B. Jordan's Steve show Dane De Haan's Andrew that they've found a mysterious cavern that seems to be the source of their frightening super power.

Matt, Steve and Andrew are three teenagers who live in Portland. They become exposed to a mysterious substance in the woods, and, as a result, begin to develop incredible telekinesis, flight, and invulnerability powers. The three work together to hone their sills for run, until personal and family problems begin to turn them against one another.

"Once Upon a Time" will present a different version of Hansel and Gretel's adventure in the house made of confectionery. In a preview for an upcoming episode of the show, the little boy and girl bump into the Evil Queen in her forest while they are looking for their father.

Instead of helping them, the Evil Queen coerces Hansel and Gretel into stealing an important artifact from a blind witch. The siblings are trapped inside the Blind Witch's confectionery house after Hansel could not help tasting a cake.

J.J. Abrams on Converting 'Star Trek 2' to 3D: 'I Didn't Want to Do It'

While it has been confirmed that "Star Trek 2" will be given a high-end 3D conversion, director J.J Abrams recently admitted that at first he didn't agree with the idea. During the FOX panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena on Sunday, January 8, Abrams said that he actually "didn't want" to convert the film but the result of 3D test for the first movie has eventually convinced him to do the conversion.

"I did not fight for the 3D. It was something that the studio wanted to do, and I didn't want to do it," he shared. "And then, when I saw the first movie converted in sections, I thought that it actually looked really cool."

Tom Hanks' Animated Series 'Electric City' to Stream on Yahoo

After starring in a bunch of films and making some small screen projects, Tom Hanks is currently working on a web series. His production company Playtone has teamed up with Reliance Entertainment to produce "Electric City" which will stream on Yahoo before heading to more traditional outlets.

The 90-minute animated sci-fi series will be broadcast online in 20 segments, each of which is roughly four minutes long, starting this spring. The project marks the first original scripted program for Yahoo.

'Melancholia' Claims Top Prize at 2012 National Society of Film Critics Awards

Winners of the 2012 National Society of Film Critics Awards have been announced. Lars von Trier's sci-fi drama "Melancholia" has marked its first major U.S. award by grabbing the top prize of Best Picture. Its lead actress, Kirsten Dunst, was also named the Best Actress at the award show. As for the Best Actor, Brad Pitt nabbed the prize through his roles in both "Moneyball" and "The Tree of Life".

Though claiming the Best Picture award, "Melancholia" couldn't bring Lars von Trier in winning the coveted Best Director prize. He lost the title to Terrence Malick for his works in "Tree of Life", which also won the most awards, including Best Cinematography for Emmanuel Lubezki.

J.J. Abrams has learned something from his previous works to make his upcoming show "Alcatraz" more enjoyable. Talking at FOX's panel during Television Critics Association winter press tour, the "Star Trek" director says that the Sarah Jones-starring drama will not keep viewers wondering for answers for too long.

"You can't expect audiences to sit there asking fundamental questions for years. It's unfair and it's wrong. We are going to make sure people aren't necessarily banging their heads against the wall," he promised. Some mysteries, however, won't be unraveled early in the first season as he added, "But if we answer everything at the end of season 1, that's never a good thing for any show."
