This September 16, Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Alba and many more will grace the stage of 2011 NCLR Alma Awards. NBC has just announced the nominees for the show which honors Latinos in entertainment and the aforementioned stars are some of the "Favorite" ones.

This year's categories have been changed to Favorite instead of Best because they are voted by fans. Aguilera takes triple nominations, one as an actress in "Burlesque", one as the judge of "The Voice" and another as Favorite Female singer. Gomez has four chances to win in this competition because she's nominated for Favorite Movie Actress, Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Music Artist while her Disney show "Wizards of Waverly Place" is nominated for Best TV Series.

One contestant on "So You Think You Can Dance" successfully squeezed tears out of Lady GaGa. The singer appeared as a guest judge on the Top 8 performance night and she cried after Marko Gremar did a contemporary piece to Jeff Buckley's "I Know It's Over" with Allison Holker.

All four judges gave Marko and Allison a standing ovation. GaGa was the first judge to give a comment. "I'm just so proud of you," she began as tears streamed down her face. "There are so, so many things I did wrong when I was younger, and so many things I wish I could take back, and I felt every moment of that through your dance tonight."

Amy Winehouse who have been laid to rest may come out with a posthumous album. Her spokesman Chris Goodman said there is "plenty" of unreleased materials but no decisions have been made on what to do with them.

While she lived, Winehouse only released two studio albums and was on the way of her third. Around a dozen of new recordings are available and a source at Universal told The Guardian that the "framework" had been laid down.

Organizers of Venice Film Festival have announced the movies that would take part at the 68th year. All 22 movies competing for the Golden Lion, including George Clooney's "The Ides of March" and Roman Polanski's "Carnage", are world premieres.

Also eying the prize are films by American directors like Ami Canaan Maan, Abel Ferrara and Todd Solondz. There are 21 movies in competition so far but another one would be unveiled during the festival, as has become a tradition from artistic director Marco Mueller.

Fiore Films' CEO, Marc Fiore, has spoken up to slam the accusation thrown by actor Joe Pesci, which suggested that the company was using his name to promote and attract investors for biopic "Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father". Fiore insisted that it was Pesci himself who pulled out of the project after director Nick Cassavetes left last April.

Fiore claimed that Pesci once said he would not return until Cassavetes was replaced, and that he rebuffed attempts made by the film's new director Barry Levinson to reach out to him. "Before we had a deal, Mr. Pesci walked away," Fiore said. "He's wasting his time and everybody else's time. I might be a newbie in town. This newbie is not going to get bulled around."

Kat Von D and Jesse James have recently broken up but a trailer for "LA Ink" season 4 sees them when they were still very much a couple. A recap of the tattoo artist's last five years, the video compiles footage from her past while she narrates important moments in her life, including her engagement to the former-husband of Sandra Bullock.

Calling him her soul mate, Kat also admits that the distance between them was a challenge to their relationship since Jesse is living in Texas and she is running her businnes in Los Angeles. Also in the trailer, the 29-year-old TV personality recalls the time her house burned down with her beloved cat inside.

Scarlett Johansson has become the latest celebrity to have been invited to the Marine Corps Ball by a Marine. Unfortunately, like Betty White, the actress playing Black Widow in "The Avengers" won't be able to attend the ball, but she is sending luxury champagne as a consolation.

"I feel incredibly honored to have been invited to the Marine Corps Ball by Sgt. Dustin L. Williams," said the 26-year-old in a statement to Zap2it. "Not only does Sgt. Williams deserve recognition for his bravery, selflessness and dedication to the United States and its people, but he also displays a cheeky talent for film making."

Charice is spreading confidence in a music video for her newest single "One Day". She's trying to tell her peers not to be afraid of following their dreams. "[It's] all about reaching for your dream, no matter the odds. Ignore all the people who say you can't reach your goal and always go for it!" she said.

The clip sees her in a school seeing kids of her age supporting each other instead of being mean. "Being a teenager as well, I can totally relate to them and I want them to realize that [they shouldn't] listen to anybody, just be proud of yourself, be confident and nobody's gonna bring you down," she gushed.

E! is going to pay tribute to Amy Winehouse by airing her "E! True Hollywood Story". The half-hour special will be rebroadcast on Thursday, July 28 at 10 P.M. following the sudden passing of the British singer.

The documentary show was previously aired on February 9, 2008. It follows the life of the "Back to Black" hitmaker as she rose to fame and got engaged in a rocky relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil before she passed away on Saturday, July 23 at the age of 27.

An official red band trailer for indie horror "Red State" has been released. Filled with violence and profane language, the fresh preview follows three high school boys who end up having to fight for their life when they encounter a fundamentalist preacher with sinister agenda, Abin Cooper.

Aside from this red band trailer, a fresh poster for the Kevin Smith-directed movie has also been unveiled. The one-sheet gives a look at a woman in a pair of short pants, carrying a rifle with both of her hands. It also highlights on a tagline that read, "Love Thy Neighbor".

50 Cent is back on his raging spirit. Just a month after throwing rants toward Interscope to show how upset he was with how his album promo was handled, the G-Unit rapper slammed his label once again.

"Man I'm not releasing a album i can't believe interscope is this f***ed up right now. I apologize to all my fans," he tweeted. "I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many."

Melanie Moore of "So You Think You Can Dance" is officially getting support from at least one A-list celebrity. Her performance on Tuesday, July 26 has smitten Lady GaGa that the "Judas" songstress admitted the 19-year-old contestant is her favorite on the competition.

"I would hire you tomorrow to dance on my tour all around the world," so said the "Born This Way" hitmaker, who served as a guest judge on this week's "SYTYCD", after watching Melanie's routine with returning contestant Neil Haskell. She went on gushing, "There is something so athletic and so passionate and so beautiful, and you're such a star."

If Us Weekly is to be trusted, Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth are no longer together after nearly two years together. Accordingly, the "True Blood" actor has parted ways with his "Straw Dogs" co-star a while ago. Their break-up was said to be "very mutual".

Us Weekly reported 34-year-old Alex himself "flirted with a brunette" when attending Film District party at San Diego Comic-Con last Thursday, July 21. The actor allegedly left the party with the woman. Meanwhile, E! Online's source claimed Alex was not "overly flirty" with his female fans, but did note, "He seemed really care-free and glad to be at parties with his friends."

A new sneak peek of Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" music video has made its way out, giving an extended look at the video shoot. Opening with introduction by Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael, it proceeds with a bunch of behind-the-scene footage.

Shirtless Levine rocks out in front of a giant Maroon 5 backdrop. His collaborator Christina Aguilera is doing what she does best, belting out the lyrics. Another guest Mick Jagger, the man who inspires the song, takes the center stage with Union Jack on the background and busts a move.

Marvel's head Kevin Feige dished on details of Hulk's physique just a few days after an official concept art poster which teases how the humanoid monster will look like in "The Avengers" was unleashed. In an interview with LA Times recently, the studio's boss said that after all these years, the green goliath might change a bit when he appears in the superhero-studded movie.

"The image we released is a very good representation of what [the Hulk is] going to look like. Hulk is Hulk. We're not going to reinvent the wheel," he said. "He'll be about the same size he was in 'The Incredible Hulk' [which was about 9 feet tall] or maybe a little bit smaller. His muscles won't be quite as cut. We figure he's been the Hulk now for a few years and [his physique is changing]."

Though she has five children together with Rohan Marley, Lauryn Hill has just made it clear that he is not the father of her sixth child. Words have run rampant that the son of Bob Marley abandoned her while she was pregnant, but the former member of The Fugees said the otherwise in a statement released via Twitter.

"Mr. Marley and I have a long and complex history about which MANY inaccuracies have been reported since the beginning," the 36-year-old began her statement. "To speculate without the facts can only cause people to form WRONG conclusions. We both value privacy and for that reason defend and preserve our right to it."

Steve Carell has lent his acting skill when stopping by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday, July 26. Together with the show's host, he was featured in a sketch called "Other Voices" which was claimed to be a clip taken from Jimmy Fallon's former talk show which aired for only two weeks in Canada at 3 A.M.

Carell and Fallon appeared wearing strange turtlenecks as the host recalled "The Office" vet's appearance on his "last talk show". They opened their mouths as if they were talking, but it was other people's voices which came out. Fallon was seen bursting into laugh several times when the 48-year-old comedian made comical expression to match the dialogs.

Two of Jesse James' exes have made media headlines for different reasons. The 42-year-old's ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, has got into trouble with the law for harassment, while his ex-fiancee Kat Von D was engaged in a Twitter feud with Jillian Barberie of "Good Day L.A.".

Janine was arrested at her home in Texas just two days after Jesse won the sole custody of their daughter, Sunny. The adult film actress was arrested for the same charges back in January, and has been ordered not to harass or annoy her ex-husband upon her release. However, TMZ reported that she called Jesse more than 25 times in the last few days.

Paramount Pictures has confirmed new release date for its two upcoming action/adventure movies, "G.I. Joe 2" and "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol". While the sequel to "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" is now set to hit U.S. theaters on June 29, 2012, the Tom Cruise-starring film is rescheduled to arrive in the nation on December 21, 2011.

"G.I. Joe 2" was formerly scheduled to be debuted on August 10, 2012. The current slot was originally set for the studio's other project, "Untitled Star Trek Sequel", which has J.J. Abrams as the director. With the new date, "G.I. Joe 2" will compete with highly anticipated superhero film "The Amazing Spider-Man", which will be dropped just a few days later on July 3.

OK Go took the advantage of HTML5's audio and video tags to create an interactive music video for their latest single "All Is Not Lost". The band slip into green spandexs and join forces with contemporary dance group Pilobolus to create human-body kaleidoscopic visuals.

They are engaged in an orchestrated dance, walking, bending, crawling and rolling on a glass-like floor to form a series of kaleidoscopic shapes and words. In addition to the images, fans who use HTML5 and Chrome browser are also able to embed personalized messages on it.

In the wake of her death last Saturday, July 23, Amy Winehouse's album "Back to Black" re-enters Billboard Hot 200. The album which was released in October 2006 secures the ninth position on the U.S. album chart with 37,000 copies sold, up 3,140% from the week before her passing.

Looking at the sales number of Amy's first album "Frank" and the digital download of her songs, Nielsen SoundScan reported there were more Winehouse music purchased in past few days after her death than during the first six months of the year. "Rehab" pulled the biggest sale number with 38,000 sold.

Piers Morgan is put on the defense once again in regards to the phone hacking scandal. 2011 Teen Choice Awards is still ten days away, but 21-year-old Taylor Swift has already won one prize. The country music cutie is set to receive Ultimate Choice Award, the highest TCAs honor to recognize her extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry.

The first teaser trailer for "Battleship" has been debuted via Yahoo! Movies and it tries to get moviegoers prepared for a big war. Lovey-dovey Lt. Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch) and Sam Shane (Brooklyn Decker) open the preview, but they have to stay away for a while when Hopper is assigned to the USS John Paul Jones by Liam Neeson's Admiral Shane, who happens to be Sam's father.

Hopper's older brother Stone, portrayed by Alexander Skarsgard, is the Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson. When the ship's crew notice mysterious thing floating on the sea, they send a small group to come closer and investigate it, which soon attacks the battleship and unveils its true, huge form.

Lee DeWyze has got engaged to Jonna Walsh, and is more than happy to share on how he proposed to his model/actress fiancee. The crowned season 9 winner of "American Idol" told PEOPLE that he got down on one knee under a fireworks-filled sky while on board a private yacht at Disney World in Orlando on July 16.

On the choosing of the proposal venue, the 25-year-old explained, "Jonna is a Disney freak." He went on to recall the moment he popped the question, "They were playing love songs on the boat and I got down on my knee and asked her. Two months after the first look at Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games" was revealed, a new picture from the movie which shows how two devoted men behind the heroine will look like has landed online. Coming out via Entertainment Weekly, the image features Gale and Peeta standing next to each other in the same forest Katniss was in the previous photo.

Alex Trebek has ruptured his Achilles tendon while chasing down a burglar. Before opening the final round of the National Geographic World Championship on Google's Mountain View, California headquarters, the "Jeopardy!" host took some time to explain about his leg injury.

"I'm going to start today with an answer to a question that I suspect is on many of your minds right now," the 71-year-old began talking about why he was hobbling on crutches on Wednesday, July 27, as quoted by San Francisco's ABC7. Glen Mazzara is taking over the reins of "The Walking Dead". Following shocking report of Frank Darabont stepping down as showrunner of the AMC hit series, sources have now confirmed that Mazzara will step in as the new showrunner, while still serving as executive producer alongside Robert Kirkman.

Mazzara was initially hired at the beginning of "Walking Dead" season 2 as No. 2 to Darabont on the writing staff. His previous credits include "The Shield", "Life", "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" and "Hawthorne".
