And in the hours after the wedding, a string of celebrities took to their blog on the social networking website to comment on the nuptials.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have sent the crowd gathering at Buckingham Palace to hysteria after they exchanged two kisses. About two hours after saying their vows at Westminster Abbey, the newly-married couple stepped onto the balcony of the palace and delighted the crowd gathering with a royal kiss.

Amidst the chanting of the crowd, the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did a very brief kiss. Apparently not satisfied by the quick peck on the lips, the crowd then chanted "kiss again". At first it seemed that the happy couple was not going to oblige to what the crowd demanded, but within minutes, they exchanged a longer kiss before the public eyes.

It was noted that the dress is made with ivory and white satin gazar and the lace applique for the bodice and skirt was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework. Australian pop star Dannii Minogue is recovering after undergoing emergency surgery to remove her appendix. The singer and reality TV personality was admitted to a hospital in West London on Saturday, April 23, after suffering crippling stomach pains.

Doctors diagnosed the 39-year-old with acute appendicitis and rushed her to the operating room for an appendectomy. A spokesperson for Minogue says, "Dannii was taken into hospital with stomach pains. She was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and had an emergency operation. She is now convalescing."

Latina actresses Eva Longoria, Rosario Dawson and America Ferrera met with U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday, April 28, to discuss immigration reform. Musician Emilio Estefan and his TV star niece Lili Estefan were also among the stars who visited the White House, where Obama stressed his commitment to overhauling immigration policy.

After the conference, Longoria revealed that Obama had voiced his support for the DREAM Act, which would help young immigrants become legal and get an affordable education. The proposal failed in the Senate in 2010.

Another work by R.L. Stine is coming to the big screen. Although the book will not be published until early July, "It's the First Day of School ... Forever!" has been optioned by Gotham Group.

Words are, co-creator Chuck Lorre has an idea to reboot the sitcom "with a new creative direction that does not involve Sheen." The network as well as the production company, Warner Bros., are reportedly aware of this.

Moreover, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Lorre has presented close associates and "Two and a Half Men" actor Jon Cryer with the plan. The reboot project reportedly will involve a significant role for Cryer and the introduction of a new character which is yet to be cast.

The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards date has been set. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced on Thursday morning, April 28, that the ceremony is scheduled on Sunday, January 15, 2012.

Other key dates announced include a November 4 deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms, a November 9 schedule for Cecil B. Buckingham Palace has confirmed at 8 A.M. on Friday, April 29 that Queen Elizabeth II has bestowed the dukedom on her grandson, making Kate Middleton Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge after the royal wedding.

"The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince William of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus," statement from the Palace read. Don Bellisario has filed a lawsuit against the network because "NCIS: L.A.", which launched in 2009, is considered a sequel to and spin-off to his shows.

"Bellisario has the contractual right to participate in and be compensated for 'NCIS:LA' because it is, among other things, both a sequel to and a spinoff of 'JAG' and 'NCIS' within the meaning of the 'first opportunity' rights provisions of Plaintiffs' contracts with CBS," the lawsuit said.

The producers of "R.I.P.D." are turning their heads to Jeff Bridges for the role which failed to secure Zach Galifianakis. The veteran actor is in "final negotiations" to star opposite Ryan Reynolds in the action comedy which follows a murdered cop working for Rest in Peace Department.

The man who attacked Paris Hilton's boyfriend Cy Waits outside a Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday, April 27 has been sentenced to serve time behind bars. James Rainford accosted the entrepreneur as he escorted Hilton to a court hearing in Van Nuys, California, and was physically dragged away by security men.

On Thursday, April 28, Rainford appeared in court to plead no contest to misdemeanor battery and was sentenced to 227 days behind bars. He was also ordered to stay away from Hilton and Waits after his release and given three years of informal probation.

As "American Idol" was trimmed down to 5 by sending Casey Abrams home on the April 28 result show, FOX announced summer tour dates for this season's contestants. Instead of having only 10 cast like the previous one, this traveling show will see eleven of them coming to a city near you across North America.

Lady GaGa's pre-taped performance of "Judas" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has aired Thursday night, April 28. Baring her midriff in a blue latex outfit, the Monster ringleader took the center stage with some backing dancers dressed in black. She roared to the audience, singing her controversial single.

Before the performance, GaGa sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview.
