Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man indeed has web-shooters in untitled Spider-Man Reboot. Following speculation about tiny gold objects on his costume as seen in the first official look at him in the film, her co-star Emma Stone says, "It's a device," when hitting the red carpet of the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Web-shooting device does appear in "Spider-Man" comics. However, filmmakers of original "Spider-Man" trilogy decided to make the web-shooters an organic mutation since they thought it wasn't possible that a high-schooler could create something so advanced.

Kid Rock made sure the run-up to his 40th birthday on Monday, January 17 was one to remember - he performed in front of 45,000 fans in his hometown on Saturday, January 15. The "All Summer Long" hitmaker organized a concert in his native Detroit, Michigan, with tickets selling out in under 20 minutes.

Lil Wayne has suspended his Twitter account after an internet prankster hacked in and sent a number of questionable messages to his fans and famous followers. The rapper's page is said to have been illegally accessed on Sunday, January 16, and a series of strange posts were subsequently sent out.

The hacker sent rude messages to Lil Wayne's celebrity pals, including 50 Cent, Soulja Boy and The Game, and made explicit jibes about the "Lollipop" hitmaker's recent spell in prison on weapons possession charges, according to AllHipHop.com. A post sent to Soulja Boy reads, "I sent a donations (sic) to your Paypal, check it, I heard you got 13,000 (record) sales lil homie, I feel bad for you!"

It looks like Jake Gyllenhaal is enjoying his status as a single man in Hollywood. The actor who reportedly just split from Taylor Swift after a brief romance, was seen attending the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday, January 16 with the companion of an ex. It was the woman way before Reese Witherspoon and Kirsten Dunst.

A new picture from "Abduction" starring Taylor Lautner has landed online in a low-res version. It shares a possible action scene from the movie as the lead actor is seen showing a cautious expression while sitting on the floor and peeking from behind what looks like a cupboard.

Previously, the first still from the drama thriller came out during 2010 American Film Market. It gives a close-up look at Lautner's Nathan Harper as well as his love interest who is portrayed by Lily Collins.

"Lost" star Naveen Andrews and "Black Swan" actress Barbara Hershey have reportedly reunited more than a year after ending their romance. The British actor, 42, met Hershey on the set of independent film "Drowning on Dry Land" in 1998 and they began dating, despite the 21-year age gap.

They announced last year that they had separated six months earlier, but insisted they would "remain the best of friends." Late British actress Susannah York has been praised for her activism by bosses at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) following her death on Saturday, January 15. The Oscar-nominee, who passed away following a long battle with cancer, was a lifelong campaigner against animal cruelty, and in 1998 hit the streets of London to protest outside the Taiwanese Embassy over allegations of the country's mistreatment of dogs in pounds.

PETA chiefs have now spoken of their sorrow after hearing of the actress' death, insisting animals around the world have lost a "true friend". A spokesperson for the group says, "Susannah devoted time to numerous good causes over the years. She was active in supporting efforts to stop cruelty to dogs in Taiwan."

Performers line-up of 2011 BRIT Awards has been announced. Invited to the London's The O2 to sing at the prize-giving event are Rihanna, Cee-Lo and Adele. They are going to join Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Take That and Plan B.

Showtime's Sunday night combo "Californication" and "Shameless" return next week with the third episode of their new season. At 9/8c, Hank Moody will entertain the audience first with "Home Sweet Home", followed in the next hour by Frank Gallagher in the episode called "Aunt Ginger".

Hank plays on the misperception that he tried to commit suicide. Counting down to the release of her new album "21" on January 24 in the U.K., Adele treats her devotees with a new single called "Set Fire to the Rain". Debuted on BBC Radio Two, the piano-driven track is slightly upbeat with some laid-back spaces which perfectly embrace her powerful voice.

Dimension Films has dropped an international trailer for highly-anticipated "Scream 4". Starting with people asking each other "What is your favorite scary movie?", the trailer shares various murders that happen after Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott returns to her hometown Woodsboro just in time for the anniversary of local murders which saw her as a survivor.

The new trailer additionally has a lot of never-before-seen scenes featuring Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere, who are also haunted by death threat from the serial killer. It turns out that the murderer follows the patterns of "Stab", a fake movie that has been part of story in previous "Scream" films.

Still fresh from releasing club banger "Hold It Against Me", Britney Spears' camp wastes no time to hype up her next single. Like the chart-busting single, this forthcoming track also comes from hitmaker duo Dr. Luke and Max Martin. And they have strong faith in the song.

An early look at "Sherlock Holmes 2" has been obtained in a form of preview video which makes its way out via Entertainment Tonight. The snippet debuts the first scenes from the movie, highlighting Robert Downey Jr.'s Sherlock Holmes who dresses in drag while he is seen shooting in another moment.

A longer preview is expected to come out this week as ET will air an exclusive report about the filming of "Sherlock Holmes" sequel on Tuesday, January 18. In the meantime, a new photo has been made available for sneak peek, featuring Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson who is portrayed by Jude Law.

Miss America has found Caressa Cameron's successor. Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan beat 52 other contestants at the beauty pageant ceremony held on Saturday, January 15 in Las Vegas. At 17, Scanlan becomes the youngest winner since the pageant made an age requirement between 17 to 24 in the year 1993 and the first to win from Nebraska.

Scanlan, who consequently won a $50,000 scholarship, would like to work on the issue of eating disorders. "I never passed up a cookie on my journey here," she joked. The Scottsbluff High School student also plans to go to law school, becomes a judge and then involves herself in the politic world.

Gwyneth Paltrow and hip-hop star Cee-Lo Green teamed up to give U.S. audiences a late night laugh on comedy sketch show "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, January 15 - by mimicking Taylor Swift and singing country classics.

Sunday, January 16 could have been Laura Linney's best day but the actress is grieving her father's death instead. One day before the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards where Laura won Best Actress in TV Comedy, 80-year-old Romulus Linney died in his Germantown, New York home after a long battle of lung cancer.

Romulus is a prolific playwright who had written more than 30 plays including "A Lesson Before Dying" which was performed Off-Broadway in September 2000. Most of his stories are set in Appalachia because he's familiar with it while growing up in the South. Beside writing, Romulus is also a professor who taught at Columbia and Princeton universities, Hunter College and The New School.

Kaley Cuoco gave boyfriend Christopher French a scare ahead of Sunday's Golden Globes - after joking that the couple was engaged while walking the red carpet. "The Big Bang Theory" star sported a diamond sparkler on her ring finger as she spoke to reporters on the walk into the annual prizegiving.

When TV host Ryan Seacrest quizzed Cuoco about her her sparkling accessory, she quipped, "I'm engaged!" But the actress quickly admitted she wasn't set to wed her rocker beau after Seacrest offered her a sip of champagne - revealing her borrowed designer ring was too small to fit on any other finger. Cuoco confessed, "I'd like you to know who I'm engaged to though. Chopard! The jewelery designer. It's the only finger it fit and I said, 'I have to wear it!' Actress Laura Linney is in mourning after her playwright father Romulus Linney lost his battle with lung cancer. He was 80. Linney passed away at his home in Germantown, New York on Saturday, January 15.

He wrote three novels and more than 30 plays in the U.S. and Europe during his long career, including "The Sorrows of Frederick", "Ambrosio", "FM" and "A Woman Without a Name". Perhaps his most widely-known work was "The Love Suicide at Schofield Barracks", which appeared on Broadway in 1972.

It all started at a Nashville karaoke bar. Two strong-willed, powerful personalities, Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, met, dated and then formed a country music duo under the moniker Steel Magnolia. Together, they tried out their talent in singing competition "Can You Duet" and won the first place.

Their humble beginning bloomed into something so musically refreshing, leading them to win over many more influential fans and supporters. They secured a record deal with Big Machine and dropped a debut single "Keep on Lovin' You" which later became a Top 5 hit on Billboard Country Songs chart.

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Award has been wrapped up after handing out the Best Drama Picture kudo for "The Social Network". I kept waking up in the morning and my heart would sink thinking about what I did the night before. That feeling used to tear me apart every morning."

A representative for Nelson Mandela has blasted internet reports suggesting the political icon died on Saturday, January 15, insisting he is alive and well. Rumors that the former South African president had passed away hit the web, but a spokesperson for the Nelson Mandela Foundation has moved swiftly to deny the speculation.

A statement from the organization reads, "Nelson Mandela is well and on holiday. (These are) unsubstantiated reports about Nelson Mandela's health."

Michael Douglas is reportedly in talks with a U.S. publishing house to lift the lid on his life for a new autobiography. The "Wall Street" legend and his Welsh wife Catherine Zeta-Jones have had a stressful year following his shock throat cancer diagnosis in August, forcing the star to undergo six months of grueling treatment.

He announced earlier this week that his tumor had been eradicated and book bosses in America are said to be keen for him to reveal all about his health battle, past romances and movie set experiences in a tell-all tome.

David Beckham has further distanced himself from accusations he slept with prostitute Irma Nici in 2007, insisting he was at his sick father's bedside on one occasion she alleges to have been with the soccer ace. Nici hit headlines around the world last year when she sensationally claimed Beckham had paid for her services twice in 2007.

The sportsman slammed the allegations and immediately launched a $25 million lawsuit against her and In Touch magazine, which published the story. Nici's lawyer filed a countersuit against Beckham, accusing him of ignoring America's strict freedom of speech laws.

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Award continues with Natalie Portman's win. The pregnant and engaged actress adds a kudo to her bunch of joy this year after grabbing Best Drama Actress for her "Black Swan" role.

The 29-year-old beauty credits her fiance Benjamin Millepied for "helping me to continue this creation of creating new life." She then jokes that the dancer, who serves as a choreographer for the Darren Aronofsky-directed film, "totally wants to sleep with me!"

Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is unaware doctors amputated half of her right leg on Friday, January 14, according to her husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt. Gabor was forced to lose her limb after a course of strong antibiotics proved ineffective in treating a serious gangrene infection.

Surgeons removed the infected part of her leg at Los Angeles' UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center on Friday and the operation went without complication. Von Anhalt revealed on Saturday, January 15 his wife is talking and responding well following the surgery - but she's still not aware that doctors have removed part of her leg.

British actress Susannah York has died at the age of 72. The star passed away on Saturday, January 15 following a long battle with cancer. Her son Orlando Wells says, "She was an absolutely fantastic mother, who was very down to earth. She was a woman with grace and stature."

"She had advanced bone marrow cancer which she had an operation for. But, last Thursday, she had a scan and then the descent was fast. In the end, her death was painless and quick."

After "On the Floor" leaked over the weekend, another song from Jennifer Lopez makes its way out. Titled "Venus", the song coming from capable hands of "On the Floor" producer RedOne is a remake of Shocking Blue's 1969 hit single of the same name.

Although sharing the same producer, there has been no word on whether the two songs will end up in the same CD. While "On the Floor" is expected to appear in J.Lo's next studio album "Love?", the "Venus" remix will be used in a commercial for Gillette, the company selling Venus women's razor.

"30 Rock", "Modern Family" and "Nurse Jackie" officially walked home from the 68th Annual Golden Globes sans trophy. "Glee" has just stolen the Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical category for the second time in a row from the three shows.

Co-creator and most of the cast went up to the stage immediately to thank FOX for their show. Then writer Ian Brennan took over the mic to thank public school teachers in America for their support. To win the prize the show had to beat also "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Big C".

He won over Baldwin in the similar category at the Primetime Emmy last year.

Christina Milian's pet pooch has cost her $55,000 after she was forced to settle a lawsuit over allegations her dog brutally attacked an elderly neighbor in 2008. Leo Skolion, 81, sued the "Dip It Low" star in January 2010, two years after alleging she had let one of her pets escape her property, leaving the dog to run wild and take "a huge chunk" out of the back of his arm. He received 19 stitches to treat the wound.

In legal papers, Skolion claimed Milian was guilty of negligence and it was her fault he had been left with "severe personal injuries". He named Milian, her mother and her sister in the lawsuit and sought undisclosed damages.

A London judge has rejected a plea by British rocker Pete Doherty's legal team to have his cocaine possession case thrown out of court. The singer was charged with the drug count in September, alongside his two friends, Peter Wolfe and Alan Wass, following an investigation into the death of filmmaker Robyn Whitehead.

Director Whitehead, who was working on a documentary about the troubled The Libertines star, was found dead from a suspected drug overdose in an apartment in Hackney, London in January 2010. The trio's legal team requested that the case was thrown out at Thames Magistrates' Court in east London on Friday, January 14 but a judge dismissed the plea, according to Britain's Daily Star.

"Mad Men" beauty Christina Hendricks is hiding a saucy secret - the flamed-haired bombshell posed for a series of sexy snaps in a 1999 edition of Playboy magazine. The actress, who has been lauded for her voluptuous body, can be seen in a photospread along with two other scantily clad girls in matching silver bikinis and long, blonde wigs.

Former "Doctor Who" star David Tennant has more good news to celebrate following his engagement earlier this month - he's set to become a first-time father, according to U.K. reports. The Scottish actor recently proposed to girlfriend Georgia Moffett, the daughter of another former "Doctor Who", Peter Davison. The pair has been dating since she appeared on the time-travelling sci-fi show in 2008.

The couple is reported to be planning a New Year's Day 2012 wedding, and there will be an extra special little guest at the nuptials - Moffett is pregnant, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper. A source tells the publication, "David is thrilled."

Birdman's "Fire Flame" remix which features Lil Wayne has got its music video debuted in full. In this Gil Green-directed clip, the Cash Money/Young Money members are hot literally as fire is set off inside the room where they spit their verses.

"The song's called 'Fire Flame' so you're in our fire room. Right now, it doesn't look like much but in a few seconds ... it's going to be incredible. It's going to get real hot in here," Green told MTV. Temperature in the room runs high not only from the fire but also from sexy ladies pulling racy swag in their skimpy outfit and suggestive moves.

"The Green Hornet" has come out as a new champion during another low weekend. The movie grosses $33.7 million, and despite the not-spectacular number, it manages to nab the second-best opening ever for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The superhero flick from Michel Gondry entertains audience with special effects. However, reviewers pan the project as lackluster although it has all-star cast that includes Cameron Diaz and Oscar winner Christoph Waltz.

Ricky Gervais hosted his second Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 16 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. He made no grand entrance but managed to bring out laughter with his harsh jokes about Charlie Sheen, "Toy Story 3" and Cher among others.

His opening line was, "Welcome to the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards, it's live from The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. It's gonna be a night of partying and heavy-drinking." He paused for a while before saying, "Or as Charlie Sheen calls it, 'breakfast'."

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards has started revealing its winners one by one. "Toy Story 3" comes out as one of the early winners, taking home Best Animated Film prize after edging out "Despicable Me", "How to Train Your Dragon", "The Illusionist" and "Tangled".

"The Social Network" also grabs one nod for Best Original Score (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross). Meanwhile, Best Original Song goes to "Burlesque" soundtrack "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" by Diane Warren. Picking up the award, she says, "I want to dedicate this to someone you all knew and loved. Ronni Chasen. This is for her." Another song of the movie "Bound to You" was actually competing for the prize.

The first winner revealed at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards is Katey Sagal. The "Sons of Anarchy" star won over Kyra Sedgwick of "The Closer" and last year's winner Julianna Margulies of "The Good Wife" in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama.
