'Spider-Man' Web-Shooters Confirmed

Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man indeed has web-shooters in untitled Spider-Man Reboot. Following speculation about tiny gold objects on his costume as seen in the first official look at him in the film, her co-star Emma Stone says, "It's a device," when hitting the red carpet of the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Web-shooting device does appear in "Spider-Man" comics. However, filmmakers of original "Spider-Man" trilogy decided to make the web-shooters an organic mutation since they thought it wasn't possible that a high-schooler could create something so advanced.

Kid Rock made sure the run-up to his 40th birthday on Monday, January 17 was one to remember - he performed in front of 45,000 fans in his hometown on Saturday, January 15. The "All Summer Long" hitmaker organized a concert in his native Detroit, Michigan, with tickets selling out in under 20 minutes.

The star's milestone celebration kicked off in style as he took to the stage to a rendition of Birthday by The Beatles, before fellow musician Uncle Kracker joined him for "Good to Be Me". Kid Rock also received birthday messages from U.S. talk show hosts Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno, who both appeared in taped videos on huge screens at Detroit's Ford Field stadium.

Lil Wayne's Twitter Hacker Sent Rude Messages to 50 Cent and Soulja Boy

Lil Wayne has suspended his Twitter account after an internet prankster hacked in and sent a number of questionable messages to his fans and famous followers. The rapper's page is said to have been illegally accessed on Sunday, January 16, and a series of strange posts were subsequently sent out.

The hacker sent rude messages to Lil Wayne's celebrity pals, including 50 Cent, Soulja Boy and The Game, and made explicit jibes about the "Lollipop" hitmaker's recent spell in prison on weapons possession charges, according to AllHipHop.com. A post sent to Soulja Boy reads, "I sent a donations (sic) to your Paypal, check it, I heard you got 13,000 (record) sales lil homie, I feel bad for you!"

It was the woman way before Reese Witherspoon and Kirsten Dunst.

Former Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis was seen walking the red carpet event next to the actor. Despite arriving together, Lewis and Gyllenhaal were not holding hands and did not pose for the photographers together. Gyllenhaal was busy making rounds to do interviews because he was nominated in Best Actor (Musical or Comedy) for "Love and Other Drugs".

British model Daisy Lowe is following in the footsteps of her rocker mother Pearl by designing a range for a low-priced U.K. clothes store. The Powder frontwoman turned her attentions to designing in 2006 and has released several collections with British retailer Peacocks.

The singer's daughter, who fronted the campaigns for her ranges, has now signed a deal with store bosses to create her own line of affordable bikinis. Daisy says, "It was important that my designs were accessible so my friends could afford them."

Previously, the first still from the drama thriller came out during 2010 American Film Market. It gives a close-up look at Lautner's Nathan Harper as well as his love interest who is portrayed by Lily Collins.

They announced last year that they had separated six months earlier, but insisted they would "remain the best of friends." However, the pair sparked rumors of a reconciliation on Saturday, January 15 by kissing and holding hands at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts' (BAFTA) Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

PETA Salutes Susannah York for Her Campaign Against Animal Cruelty

Late British actress Susannah York has been praised for her activism by bosses at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) following her death on Saturday, January 15. The Oscar-nominee, who passed away following a long battle with cancer, was a lifelong campaigner against animal cruelty, and in 1998 hit the streets of London to protest outside the Taiwanese Embassy over allegations of the country's mistreatment of dogs in pounds.

PETA chiefs have now spoken of their sorrow after hearing of the actress' death, insisting animals around the world have lost a "true friend". A spokesperson for the group says, "Susannah devoted time to numerous good causes over the years. She was active in supporting efforts to stop cruelty to dogs in Taiwan."

Hank plays on the misperception that he tried to commit suicide. Dimension Films has dropped an international trailer for highly-anticipated "Scream 4". Starting with people asking each other "What is your favorite scary movie?", the trailer shares various murders that happen after Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott returns to her hometown Woodsboro just in time for the anniversary of local murders which saw her as a survivor.

The new trailer additionally has a lot of never-before-seen scenes featuring Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere, who are also haunted by death threat from the serial killer. It turns out that the murderer follows the patterns of "Stab", a fake movie that has been part of story in previous "Scream" films.

An early look at "Sherlock Holmes 2" has been obtained in a form of preview video which makes its way out via Entertainment Tonight. The snippet debuts the first scenes from the movie, highlighting Robert Downey Jr.'s Sherlock Holmes who dresses in drag while he is seen shooting in another moment.

A longer preview is expected to come out this week as ET will air an exclusive report about the filming of "Sherlock Holmes" sequel on Tuesday, January 18. In the meantime, a new photo has been made available for sneak peek, featuring Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson who is portrayed by Jude Law.

Miss America has found Caressa Cameron's successor. Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan beat 52 other contestants at the beauty pageant ceremony held on Saturday, January 15 in Las Vegas. At 17, Scanlan becomes the youngest winner since the pageant made an age requirement between 17 to 24 in the year 1993 and the first to win from Nebraska.

Scanlan, who consequently won a $50,000 scholarship, would like to work on the issue of eating disorders. "I never passed up a cookie on my journey here," she joked. The Scottsbluff High School student also plans to go to law school, becomes a judge and then involves herself in the politic world.

Laura Linney's Playwright Father Died of Cancer

Actress Laura Linney is in mourning after her playwright father Romulus Linney lost his battle with lung cancer. He was 80. Linney passed away at his home in Germantown, New York on Saturday, January 15.

Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is unaware doctors amputated half of her right leg on Friday, January 14, according to her husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt. Gabor was forced to lose her limb after a course of strong antibiotics proved ineffective in treating a serious gangrene infection.

Surgeons removed the infected part of her leg at Los Angeles' UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center on Friday and the operation went without complication. Christina Milian Settles Lawsuit With Her Dog's Attack Victim

Christina Milian's pet pooch has cost her $55,000 after she was forced to settle a lawsuit over allegations her dog brutally attacked an elderly neighbor in 2008. Leo Skolion, 81, sued the "Dip It Low" star in January 2010, two years after alleging she had let one of her pets escape her property, leaving the dog to run wild and take "a huge chunk" out of the back of his arm. He received 19 stitches to treat the wound.

In legal papers, Skolion claimed Milian was guilty of negligence and it was her fault he had been left with "severe personal injuries". He named Milian, her mother and her sister in the lawsuit and sought undisclosed damages.

Judge Refuses to Dismiss Pete Doherty's Drug Possession Charge

A London judge has rejected a plea by British rocker Pete Doherty's legal team to have his cocaine possession case thrown out of court. The singer was charged with the drug count in September, alongside his two friends, Peter Wolfe and Alan Wass, following an investigation into the death of filmmaker Robyn Whitehead.

Director Whitehead, who was working on a documentary about the troubled The Libertines star, was found dead from a suspected drug overdose in an apartment in Hackney, London in January 2010. The trio's legal team requested that the case was thrown out at Thames Magistrates' Court in east London on Friday, January 14 but a judge dismissed the plea, according to Britain's Daily Star.

After Chris Colfer's victory for "Glee" in the Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini -Series or TV Movie, his co-star Jane Lynch takes the Supporting Actress category for her performance as the "Glee" character that also won her an Emmy last year.

"I am nothing but falsely humble!" Lynch says as the audience laughed. She went on thanking the "Glee" writers for coming up with such an evil and witty character as Sue Sylvester. Last year Chloe Sevigny won the title for her role on "Big Love".

David Tennant's Girlfriend Is Pregnant With His First Child

Former "Doctor Who" star David Tennant has more good news to celebrate following his engagement earlier this month - he's set to become a first-time father, according to U.K. reports. The Scottish actor recently proposed to girlfriend Georgia Moffett, the daughter of another former "Doctor Who", Peter Davison. The pair has been dating since she appeared on the time-travelling sci-fi show in 2008.

The couple is reported to be planning a New Year's Day 2012 wedding, and there will be an extra special little guest at the nuptials - Moffett is pregnant, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper. A source tells the publication, "David is thrilled."

Ricky Gervais hosted his second Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 16 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. He made no grand entrance but managed to bring out laughter with his harsh jokes about Charlie Sheen, "Toy Story 3" and Cher among others.

His opening line was, "Welcome to the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards, it's live from The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. It's gonna be a night of partying and heavy-drinking." He paused for a while before saying, "Or as Charlie Sheen calls it, 'breakfast'."

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards has started revealing its winners one by one. "Toy Story 3" comes out as one of the early winners, taking home Best Animated Film prize after edging out "Despicable Me", "How to Train Your Dragon", "The Illusionist" and "Tangled".

"The Social Network" also grabs one nod for Best Original Score (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross). Meanwhile, Best Original Song goes to "Burlesque" soundtrack "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" by Diane Warren. Picking up the award, she says, "I want to dedicate this to someone you all knew and loved. Ronni Chasen. This is for her." Another song of the movie "Bound to You" was actually competing for the prize.
