"Incarceron" may become a project that unites "Twilight" hunk and "Harry Potter" beauty outside their hit franchises. Taylor Lautner has already been booked to take the lead role of Finn in the upcoming sci-fi movie, and rumor has it Emma Watson is a possible depicter of his love interest.

The British actress, who is famously known for her portrayal of Hermione Granger, will not easily land the coveted role for "Gossip Girl" beauty Blake Lively and "Winter's Bone" lead star Jennifer Lawrence are reportedly also the frontrunners for the role. Whoever cast in the film will likely be seen playing Claudia, who helps Lautner's character to escape a savage, futuristic prison society.

It turns out that an on-set picture featuring Chris Brown, which was rumored to be taken from Diddy-Dirty Money's "Yesterday" video shoot, is a first look at a music video for Breezy's own track. He filmed the clip for "Wonder Woman/Regular Girl".

Beside the previous image, more pictures have hit the web. Breezy is no longer alone as he is joined by his collaborator Tyga. They are surrounded by people aiming their guns at them in one image, and then get arrested in another pic.

Columbia Pictures has unleashed a new full trailer for "Battle: Los Angeles" that is both action-packed and dramatic. Opened with a look at the soldiers during their regular activities, the trailer debuted via Yahoo! Movies goes on with more intense scenes as people witness unknown forces attacking the military base. As a fight against the attackers begins, human soldiers and the aliens are seen on the battlefield.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the movie will focus on a Marine staff sergeant and his new platoon who have to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they've ever encountered before. The story is set in Los Angeles which becomes the last stand for mankind after the world's great cities fall.

Unlike Britney Spears who is not yet confirmed for the Grammys, Lady GaGa is definitely going to Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 13 to perform at the awards show. The news was first brought to attention by GaGa's choreographer Laurieann Gibson.

The dancer sparked speculation about the possible performance when she wrote on Twitter, "Grammy meeting performance extrodinaire..!!!" A few hours later, one of her followers quizzed her if GaGa will perform at the show, and to this question she simply answered "yes." She might be performing her new song at the upcoming prize-giving event.

Wyclef Jean put aside his differences with his former The Fugees bandmate Pras after they boarded the same plane to Haiti this week. The hip-hop stars sat next to one another on a jet to their native country, where on Wednesday, January 12 they will mark a year since the Caribbean nation was devastated by a massive earthquake.

Jean admits he was moved to make peace with Pras. In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "On my way 2 Haiti, ran into Praz (sic), what should I do make peace or go sit somewhere Else! I made peace 4 Haiti!"

Madonna has announced plans to expand her Malawi girls' school in a bid to provide more children in the African country with quality education. The superstar opened the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls in April 2010 but reveals she's already in the process of "implementing several changes" to improve it.

A statement from Madonna reads, "My original vision is now on a much bigger scale. I want to reach thousands not hundreds of girls. I want to do more and I want to do it better... I remain deeply committed and am more passionate than ever about helping the children of Malawi - especially the girls. In a country where only 33 per cent of Malawian girls attend secondary school, I realize that the plans we had in place for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls simply would not serve enough children."

He tells MTV.com, "We kind of based him off (sic) a male Paris Hilton, as embarrassing as that is to say. That is what we looked at - those people who are the sons or daughters of people who have accomplished great things. We probably give them a little more credit than they've gotten in the past and we explore why they're such jerks and why they act out. Maybe it's because they didn't get the attention they wanted."

First-time father Orlando Bloom is struggling to find the perfect name for his newborn son, according to his mum. The "Lord of the Rings" star welcomed a baby boy with his wife Miranda Kerr last week, but the pair has yet to name the tot.

Bloom's mum Sonia says, "They are both absolutely ecstatic. I am beyond happy. They have a list of names and he tells me they are struggling to choose one."

Actor David Nelson has died after suffering complications from colon cancer. He was 74 years old. Nelson, best known for starring on his parents' TV hit "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", passed away on Monday, January 10 at his home in Los Angeles.

He was the last surviving member of the real-life TV family, whose U.S. sitcom ran on the small screen from 1952 to 1966. Nelson attended the University of Southern California before convincing his parents to allow him to act on the show, along with his teen idol brother Ricky.

At the same time they conducted TCA Press Tour, FOX released the first trailer to "Breaking In". The new series, which is created by Adam F. Goldberg ("Fanboys") and Seth Gordon ("Four Christmases"), has been picked up by the network for midseason premiere.

It is basically an offbeat half-hour workplace comedy about a high-tech security firm that takes extreme - and often questionable - measures to sell their protection services. The series centers on a team of uniquely skilled oddball geniuses hand-picked to work for a manipulative mastermind.

Britney Spears's newly-released single "Hold It Against Me" is rumored to be a rip-off. Some of the lyrics in the chorus are similar to those of The Bellamy Brothers' 1979 classic song. While the duo sings "If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?", Britney delivers refrain "So if I said I want your body now, would you hold it against me?"

"This particular title is kinda hard to disguise, because the title is the song. It's not like saying, 'I love you, baby.' I think songwriters have become watered down. This makes me sound like an old man again, but I find that songwriters now are not as strong as they used to be in the '60 or '70s," David Bellamy told Entertainment Weekly.

Already having a bunch of names on his shortlist, Christopher Nolan is reportedly still looking at other actresses for major roles, a villain and a love interest, in "The Dark Knight Rises". Despite rumor that they won't return after a planned hiatus, Gorillaz added a new member and introduced it to their fans on Tuesday, January 11. Called The Evangelist, the new animated character has humanoid figure with clawed hands, octopuses attached on both arms and fishbowl full of tentacles as the head.

The nightmarish creature is drawn by one of the band's masterminds Jamie Hewlett, based on a design submitted by a fan who entered their online competition under the name Jirouta. The sketch was chosen among over 5,000 submissions and after five rounds of public voting.

Newlywed Shania Twain is to be honored in her native Canada for her musical achievements. The country star will be inducted to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2011 Juno Awards in March. It will be her first appearance at Canada's Grammys since she hosted the ceremony in 2003.

Twain, who has sold more than 4.2 million albums in her native Canada, had a great start to 2011 - the singer wed boyfriend Frederic Thiebaud in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day.

Michael Jackson's physician has been ordered to stand trial for involuntary manslaughter. Los Angeles prosecutors have ended their case in the preliminary hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to try Dr. Conrad Murray. The lawyers finished ahead of schedule - after just six days of testimony from forensics experts, paramedics and former employees of the King of Pop.

In his closing statement, Deputy District Attorney David Walgren told the judge, "Michael Jackson is not here today because of the negligence and reckless acts of Dr. Murray." The defense filed a motion to dismiss on Tuesday, January 11 but that was denied, and Judge Michael Pastor has ruled there is sufficient evidence to warrant a manslaughter trial.

Cameron Diaz plans her international promotion trips around her favorite restaurants. The movie star admits she loves revisiting diners in England, Italy, Germany, Australia and Russia - and makes sure she has time for a meal whenever she's traveling the world pitching new films.

She says, "The whole purpose for me of the trip is to eat in my favorite restaurants in whatever city I'm in. I plan the whole thing." And the big screen stunner admits Italy is her favorite destination - because she has a handful of favorites there. Being pregnant does not stop Natalie Portman from promoting her film. Comedians Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are forging ahead with plans to record a rap album after landing a "big time producer" to collaborate with on the project. The "Step Brothers" co-stars have previously toyed with the idea of releasing a joint music project and entertained fans with their rapping skills on spoof songs like 2008's "Boats 'N Hoes", even recording a video and posting it on YouTube.com.

But the plans have now been put into motion, according to "Step Brothers" director Adam McKay - and they're hoping to entice hip-hop star Mos Def to join them on a track. Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio is in mourning following the death of her father on Tuesday morning, January 11. The singer's dad, lawyer Enrique, was admitted to a hospital in Mexico City on January 3 after suffering a heart attack and stroke.

He was placed in a medically-induced coma and was said to be in a "very serious" and "critical" condition. He died on Tuesday, reports PerezHilton.com. Enrique Rubio had just returned from a trip to Miami, Florida, where he had been visiting the star and her brother, also named Enrique, when he was taken ill.

British actor Colin Firth's fellow countrymen have bowed down to his royal turn in "The King's Speech" - the drama has been crowned number one in the U.K. box office chart. The hotly-tipped Oscar favorite, starring Firth as King George VI as he battles to overcome his stammer, grossed $5.25 million in its first three days of release.

Danny Boyle's "127 Hours" was another new entry at two with $3.3 million. "Little Fockers" and "Gulliver's Travels" placed third and fourth, respectively, while Russell Crowe thriller "The Next Three Days" debuted at five with $1.5 million.

"Terminator 2: Judgment Day" star Edward Furlong is behind bars after allegedly violating a restraining order. The troubled actor was jailed on Tuesday morning, January 11 after reportedly contacting his estranged wife Rachael Kneeland.

Los Angeles officials filed criminal charges against Furlong last year and he pleaded no contest to the violation in November. At a progress hearing on Tuesday, the City Attorney told the court the actor had violated the restraining order last month by coming within 50 yards of Kneeland.

Actress Tia Mowry has joined the 2011 baby club - she's pregnant with her first child. The star, who teamed up with twin sister Tamera for hit sitcom "Sister, Sister", is due on July 3, according to Us Weekly magazine.

Mowry, 32, wed actor Cory Hardrict in 2008. A statement from the couple reads, "We are both so excited to be parents. We have been wanting this a long time." A source additionally revealed to People, "This is something that they've wanted for a long time and they're thrilled."

Lucy Hale only lands a small role in "Scream 4", but she might have given a big spoiler for fans. HBO, as usual, leads in the nomination list of DGA Awards with a string of its 2010 projects. This year, the Directors Guild Awards is looking forward to honor miniseries "The Pacific" and the cable's new series "Boardwalk Empire" as well as TV movies "Temple Grandin" and "You Don't Know Jack".

"Pacific" takes in three nods with accolades for David Nutter who directed the eighth episode, Tim van Patten who directed "Part 9" and Jeremy Podeswa who directed the series finale. Meanwhile, "Boardwalk" receives the two nods in Dramatic Series, one for Martin Scorsese who directed the pilot and the other for Allen Couter who directed the 11th episode called "Paris Green". Scorsese had received 8 DGA nominations but this is his first in TV.

Ricky Martin is campaigning for equality in every aspect of life as seen in a music video for his new single "The Best Thing About Me Is You". "You and me, we are equal," he said as shots of gay, straight, young, adult, black and white people are featured throughout the clip in random sequence.

The first single since he came out as a gay, "Best Thing About Me" is confirmed for Martin's new bilingual album "Musica + Alma + Sexo" (English: "Music + Soul + Sex") which is due next month. The album's English version features Joss Stone, and the Spanish version is backed up by Natalia Jiminez.

Pink's motocross rider husband Carey Hart has filed suit against the bosses of the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, accusing executives of lying about their profits before he invested in the venue. Hart became a shareholder in Hard Rock's Wasted Space Lounge via his firm S&H Projects, but the venue was shut down last August after just two years in business.

He has now filed suit against venue bosses, claiming they hid profits and inflated expenses to mask mismanagement within the hotel, denying S&H its fair share of cash. Hard Rock bosses have denied the allegations, claiming Wasted Space did not make a profit.

Steven Tyler had no idea what he was signing up for when he agreed to join the judging panel on U.S. talent show "American Idol" - because the rocker had never seen the TV show before. The Aerosmith frontman was unveiled alongside Jennifer Lopez as the program's new judges following the departure of Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi at the end of the last season.

The new panelists appeared with veteran judge Randy Jackson and "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest on America's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Monday night, January 10 to discuss the upcoming cycle. Actress Regina King has dismissed reports she's planning to wed former "The Cosby Show" star Malcolm-Jamal Warner, insisting they are not engaged. The pals have known each other since the 1980s, and King admits their friendship has since taken a romantic turn.

But the "Ray" star insists rumors the couple is soon heading to the alter are completely false. She tells Essence magazine, "Malcolm and I have a lot in common. We've both been child actors and were also blessed to be raised by incredible mothers who instilled good values in us. Things are maturing nicely. (But) no, we're not engaged."

"Toy Story 3" has been named film critics' top pick of 2010 at the Golden Tomato Awards. The animated Pixar movie was named the best-reviewed film in wide release of 2010, a prize presented annually by popular movie website RottenTomatoes.com, which compiles press reviews to measure the percentage of favorable critiques.

Editor-in-chief Matt Atchity says the latest "Toy Story" installment earned positive reviews from 99 percent of critics, beating out David Fincher's "The Social Network", which garnered 97 percent. The Facebook-inspired film didn't miss out completely - it landed the Golden Tomato in the drama category.

Jim Carrey fought back tears during an emotional TV interview on Monday, January 10, when he opened up about the trauma of growing up in poverty in Canada. The "Liar Liar" star appeared on America's "Inside The Actor's Studio" and opened up about growing up in Newmarket, Ontario with his housewife mother Kathleen and musician and accountant father Percy.

But the middle class family faced tough times when his dad lost his job, forcing a then-12-year-old Carrey to take on an after school job, working eight-hour days in a factory, leaving him wanting to "bash somebody's head in". And recalling the trauma of living in poverty was an emotional drain for the actor, now 48.

Michael Douglas' wife Catherine Zeta-Jones struggled to control her emotions when she learned her husband had beaten cancer and broke down in tears of joy. The "Wall Street" star has declared he's won his battle with the deadly disease, six months after he was diagnosed with stage four throat cancer.

Douglas admits the news has yet to "really sink in", although his actress wife couldn't keep the tears from falling when doctors told them he had overcome the illness. He tells People magazine, "She had a good cry when she heard. I can't tell you I was jumping up and clicking my heels. For me, it will probably be two or three months before it will really sink in and feel good."

David Letterman presented the "Top 10 Reasons to Buy Snooki's Book" which was delivered by the author herself. Reading from cue cards, Snooki told the audience of "Late Show with David Letterman" that her new book "A Shore Thing" includes "200 pages of hangover cures" and "helpful tips on how to clean Ron-Ron juice out of your Camaro."

The top-notch producer doesn't seem to be bothered with some negative publicity she received after going to rehab. In fact, he has listened to some of her songs and is impressed with her.

Bjork's efforts to raise awareness of environmental issues in her native Iceland have paid off - more than 25,000 people have signed a petition since her three-day karaoke marathon kicked off. The singer was angry to discover plans for a Canadian takeover of Iceland's energy company HS Orka, insisting the country's natural resources should remain under Icelandic control, and she backed a petition for a referendum on the issue.

She vowed to gain more signatures by staging a three-day karaoke contest, which kicked off on Thursday, January 6 - and the amount of names backing the cause has increased from 21,000 on Thursday to 46,800 on Monday, January 10.

Rap mogul Jay-Z has expanded his business empire by investing in a fast food restaurant in his native New York. The hip-hop superstar has quietly bought into an eaterie in Brooklyn, New York called Buffalo Boss, which is co-owned by his cousin Jamar White.

"Yes, it's all true. Jay supports us in all we do, that's my big cousin right there," White told MTV. The rapper is already using his influence to make a difference in the local community by handing out free food to reward exceptional students at a nearby school, according to TMZ.com. Buffalo Boss serves organic chicken in a special sauce, fries, salads and soft drinks.

Madonna has launched a search for the new face of her Material Girl clothing line, encouraging fans to vote online for their top choice. The pop superstar released the teenage clothing range, designed in collaboration with her daughter Lourdes, last year with actress Taylor Momsen as the collection's poster girl.

Madonna is now looking for a replacement for the "Gossip Girl" star, and a post on the brand's website is urging fans to cast their vote to decide who gets the job. Michelle Williams would jump at the chance to star in a "Dawson's Creek" reunion special - because the show gave her such a good grounding in acting. Socialite Kim Kardashian has dismissed rumors her sister Khloe Kardashian is pregnant, insisting her sibling shouldn't have to suffer the humiliating gossip every time she puts on "a little weight". Reports emerged online this month suggesting Khloe is expecting her first child with her basketball star husband Lamar Odom.

But her sister Kim is adamant the reports are not true, and she is urging gossips to stop making Khloe feel bad about her body. She tells E! News, "I feel like she gets this all the time. Michael Douglas has vowed to cut down his drinking and quit smoking as part of his recovery from cancer. The Hollywood superstar was diagnosed with a tumor in his throat in August and subsequently underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment in a bid to beat the deadly disease.

Douglas, who claims to have won his fight with cancer, has previously conceded his lifestyle choices are likely to have played a part in his illness, and in a new TV interview, he has promised to change his bad habits for the sake of his health.

Singer Jewel Kilcher has confirmed she is pregnant with her first child. The musician has been trying for a baby with her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, since 2009 and they've announced they are expecting their first child later this year.

Jewel discovered her pregnancy on the first day of her new job hosting reality TV show "Going Platinum" and admits she struggled to keep her happy news a secret. She tells People.com, "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'... I'm trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy. I feel really lucky."

Kelly Osbourne has confirmed rumors she's dating aspiring British musician Rob Damiani following her broken engagement to model Luke Worrall. The singer-turned-reality TV star met the Don Broco rocker during a recent trip to Britain and admits she's "having fun" with the blossoming romance.

Michael Jackson threatened to cancel his London comeback concerts unless he was given drugs to help him sleep on the day of his death, a court has heard. Detective Orlando Martinez took the stand at a Los Angeles court on Monday, January 10 to testify at a preliminary hearing to decide whether Jackson's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray should stand trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Murray is accused of administering a fatal dose of anaesthetic Propofol which killed the singer on 25 June, 2009. Sean McNamara is bringing to screen the inspirational story of surf icon Bethany Hamilton in "Soul Surfer" which first teaser trailer has hit the web. The biopic will also become a movie debut for country music singer Carrie Underwood. She takes the role of a church youth leader who is seen being supportive to Hamilton. Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt additionally join the cast as Hamilton's parents.

Just a day after hitting headlines for "Hold It Against Me" single premiere, Britney Spears is rumored to be heading to Grammy Awards on February 13 for a live performance. A representative for the singer, however, told Perez Hilton, "We have not confirmed a performance at the Grammys at this time."

Ted Williams, the former homeless man who is tasting fame, was detained by LAPD on Monday, January 10 night for "minor disturbance". The 53-year-old had an argument with his daughter, shouting at each other and disturbing the peace at the Renaissance Hotel.

A hotel employee called the cops and both Williams and his unnamed daughter were taken to the Hollywood station. The police investigated the incident but neither of them wanted to press charges against each other so they were released less than an hour later.

MGM is finally moving forward with its big project, "Bond 23". After put on hold several times due to the company's financial problem, the next installment of the hit franchise is now back on track as MGM has announced their plan to kick off production in late 2011 and release the movie on November 9, 2012.

A short press release from MGM also confirms that Daniel Craig will return to reprise his role as the legendary British secret agent, James Bond. Sam Mendes is on board to direct the movie with a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan.
