It's only a few days away from the U.S. release of "The Green Hornet" and Columbia Pictures wants to introduce it earlier to Hollywood residents by premiering the movie in Los Angeles on Monday, January 10. That evening, Graumans Chinese Theater was decorated with "Green Hornet" ornaments including The Black Beauty as the movie's cast and crew swarmed the building.

Getting an honor to take the female lead role, Cameron Diaz came to the event in a red Azzaro dress that brightened the night. She put on her best smile as she posed alongside lead actor Seth Rogen who tagged along fiancee Lauren Miller to the special screening. Melanie Brown is baffled by rumors she's fallen out with her former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Adams, insisting she's delighted her pal is a mum-to-be again. Katie Holmes' TV miniseries "The Kennedys" was axed following complaints from members of the famed family, according to reports. The highly-anticipated show, starring Holmes as Jackie Kennedy, was canceled last week by History Channel bosses who felt the final product was "not a fit" for the network.

New reports suggest it was scrapped after "intense" pressure from the clan, including Caroline Kennedy - the only surviving child of John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Caroline, along with Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver, the daughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, fought to have the project "killed".

Tom Hardy has been offering support to troubled actress Lindsay Lohan - but his publicist insists speculation the "Inception" star is her official sobriety sponsor is false. The British actor, who struggled with alcohol addiction and drug abuse in his youth, was rumored to be helping Lohan stay clean after she completed a court-ordered stint in rehab earlier this month.

Rockers Linkin Park have teamed up with a group of official bootleggers to make sure fans attending their upcoming shows get a live recording of the concert - for free. The complimentary download will be available to fans who simply send a text message to a short code displayed at each venue. A link will then be emailed to them following the concert.

Basecamp Productions, a pioneer in the development of the official concert bootleg, will be handling the distribution of the live recordings. A spokesperson for Will Smith has blasted reports the Hollywood star has signed up to judge Simon Cowell's U.S. version of TV talent show "The X Factor". The Independence Day star was rumoured to have inked a deal with the British music mogul to join the panel of experts on the show, but a representative for Smith has spoken out to address the speculation, telling Gossip.Com there is "no truth" to the story.

British actress Rosamund Pike has made James Bond history by becoming the first woman to narrate a 007 story for a new audiobook series. The "Die Another Day" star will give voice to Bond creator Ian Fleming's words in a retelling of "The Spy Who Loved Me".

The mother of tragic actress Brittany Murphy has lashed out at a Hollywood Reporter journalist for going public with an investigation into the "Clueless" star's death. Police ruled out foul play in Murphy's December, 2009 death, while Los Angeles coroner's officials ruled the star died from pneumonia, anaemia and a toxic mix of prescription drugs.

After Dark Films is prepping to release new film "Husk" on January 28 this year and has given a preview to the flick in form of a red band trailer debuted via Bloody Disgusting. The story starts as five friends have a weekend trip which soon turns into a nightmare after a murder of crows smash into their car windshield.

Forced to abandon their SUV, the youngsters are stranded in isolated farmland. Hidden deep within the cornfield they find a crumbling farmhouse. They soon realize that the cornfields are inhabited by reanimated human scarecrows who reproduce by killing and forcing their undead victims to join their ranks.

American brands are preparing to advertise their products at the upcoming Super Bowl, and Skechers has tapped Kim Kardashian to steal the attention during the breaks. The reality show star posted a behind-the-scene photo of her getting ready to film a "top-secret commercial" that she's "been working on recently".

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has signed on to compose the music for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)" remake. The project will reteam the rocker and director David Fincher, who worked together on "The Social Network".

IFC Films has debuted a domestic trailer for Japanese film "Tetsuo: The Bullet Man" from hero cult Shinya Tsukamoto. It opens with drama scenes following Eric Bossick's Anthony, a young man raising family in Tokyo. His wife, who is crippled by anxiety and unable to leave the house, has recurring nightmares about their young son which turn to be reality when Tom is cruelly run down in the street.

His son's death triggers violent emotions in Anthony. He flies into a terrible rage which transforms him into a strange, metallic monster while learning the truth about his father's past experiments on human guinea pigs and about his mother's death. This delights the mysterious man who ran down Anthony's son, a man who now continually taunts Anthony from a distance.

Eva Longoria has been hit with a multi-million dollar lawsuit from a former business partner who alleges she agreed to an illegal scam to boost the money she invested in a failed Las Vegas restaurant venture. Investor Mali Nachum has accused the Desperate Housewives star of pouring $1 million into her Beso eatery as part of an illicit scheme which promised her a return of $4.6 million in interest over two years.

Nachum claims the actress' alleged deal violates California law and diminishes his own shares of the venture, according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ.com and filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, January 10. He is suing Longoria, who owns a third of Beso, for $4 million in damages.

Brad Womack narrowed it down to 17 women in his quest to find The One through "The Bachelor". Sent home this week are manscaper Raichel Goodyear, waitress Melissa Schreiber and Radio City Rockette Keltie Colleen. The latest shed tears as Brad didn't give her a rose, saying no type of dating works for her.

The three eliminated ones were on the same group date with Brad along with 12 others. They made PSAs for donating blood to the American Red Cross and must wear costumes. Michael Douglas has battled cancer and won. The movie veteran will reveal all in a candid chat he has recorded for America's "Today" show, which will air on Tuesday morning, January 11. The actor reveals he's feeling "good" and "relieved" after his six-month fight with stage four throat cancer.

He says, "The tumor is gone, but I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain... I think the odds are, with the tumor gone and what I know about this particular type of cancer, I've got it beat... It'll take a couple of months of getting checked out."

After dating for about 11 years now, Shakira and her longtime beau Antonio de la Rua called it quits. In a joint statement released earlier this week, the former couple who are also business partners said they have quietly ended their romance since August 2010 and the decision was a "mutual" one.

Clint Eastwood has found an actor to fill in a major supporting role for his upcoming film "J. Edgar". After tapping Leonardo DiCaprio to tackle the titular role, Ed Westwick is now cast to portray an FBI agent who is tasked with writing Hoover's memoir.

Westwick's character is described as "a clean cut operative with writing skill." Deadline further explains, "Once Hoover discovers he can write, he conscripts Agent Smith to write Hoover's biography, until Smith gets a little too close to the truth."

Alesha Dixon offers sneak peek to her soon-to-be-premiered music video for latest single "Every Little Part of Me" in a short snippet. The teaser reveals some scenes she shares with Jay Sean who lends his vocal on the song. A glimpse of a man aiming his gun at her is flashed as well.

R&B singer/producer Ryan Leslie has been accused of breaking his promise to hand over a $1 million reward for the safe return of a stolen laptop after it was found and handed into police by a man in Germany. The star was on tour in the European country when a thief swiped the computer from his car last October.

Leslie was so desperate to get the Apple MacBook full of new, unreleased music back, he increased his initial reward offer of $20,000 to $1 million in a video posted on YouTube.com. The laptop was retrieved by a man known as as Bernd P., who claims he found it in a bag while walking through a forest. He handed in the lost property to local authorities, who reportedly reunited Leslie with his gadget.

Embattled U.S. reality TV star Richard Hatch is facing the possibility of another two years behind bars amid allegations he violated the terms of his probation. Hatch was convicted in 2006 of failing to pay taxes on the $1 million prize he won on the first season of America's "Survivor".

He walked free from a Massachusetts prison after completing a three year federal sentence for tax evasion in October, 2009 and began a three-year period of supervised release under the condition that he refile and pay his taxes on show winnings and other income.

"The Hangover" star Mike Epps is facing a lawsuit from a videographer who alleges the funnyman assaulted him during a night out last year. Epps clashed with cameraman Douglas Thornton during his wife's birthday bash at the Key Club in Detroit, Michigan on November 27, 2010 and security officers were forced to interfere when a brawl broke out.

According to TMZ.com, Thornton has now filed a $1 million lawsuit against the actor in Michigan, claiming he was subjected to a "brutal beating" at the hands of Epps after the videographer was physically removed from the club. The legal documents state Thornton was covering a public event when the incident occurred. They go on to allege "members of Epps' entourage fired several shots at Thornton who ran for his life".

Actress Michelle Williams is launching a yoga center for single mothers. The "Brokeback Mountain" star has been raising five-year-old daughter Matilda as a single mum since her ex-boyfriend, late actor Heath Ledger, died of an accidental overdose in January 2008.

She credits yoga with helping her cope with the tragedy and reveals the inner peace she found through the exercise inspired her to co-found The Yoga for Single Moms Project, which is now launching a pilot program in Boston, Massachusetts. She tells America's Marie Claire magazine, "Yoga gave me relief like nothing else; it made be a better person and a better mother. I could come back to my daughter anew. And then I started to think about how expensive it is to get a babysitter to take a yoga class, which makes it out of reach for so many women."

Screen siren Sophia Loren rang in the New Year as a third-time grandmother - her daughter-in-law, actress Sasha Alexander, gave birth to a baby boy in December 2010. "Rizzoli & Isles" star Alexander and her writer/director husband Edoardo Ponti - the son of Italian actress Loren - welcomed their second child, Leonardo Fortunato Ponti, on December 20 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The couple confirmed the news to People.com in a statement, "We are so thrilled to welcome our little Leonardo. He's a wonderful gift and we are all in love - especially the grandmas!" The new addition joins the couple's daughter Lucia Sofia, four. Loren has one other grandchild, three-year-old Vittorio, born to her son Carlo Ponti, Jr.

Darren Aronofsky, David Fincher and Tom Hooper's Oscars hopes have been given a huge boost - the trio are among the nominees for the top honour at the 2011 Directors Guild of America Awards. Christopher Nolan and David O. Russell make up the five-strong shortlist for the prestigious DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2010.

Aronofsky was nominated for his ballet drama "Black Swan", Fincher for his Facebook-inspired film "The Social Network", and Nolan for his sci-fi blockbuster "Inception". Hooper's British monarchy drama "The King's Speech" and Russell's "The Fighter" also earned mentions.

Kylie Minogue has mapped out a number of concerts for her forthcoming North American Tour. The Aussie singer/songwriter is going to kick it off on April 28 at Montreal Bell Centre before moving to Boston, New York City, Atlanta and other major towns in the country. She will stay on the road at least until May 22 in Las Vegas.

This is an extended leg to her "Aphrodite" tour which was opened in Europe last year. While the 2009 traveling show emphasized the use of "technologically advanced and extravagant stage" with a special "Fly System" which was inspired by "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" play, the U.S. gig will be smaller to create a more intimate space.

In one of upcoming "90210" episodes, AnnaLynne McCord turns blue for a boy. The first look of her in Avatar costume has arrived. The depicter of Naomi is painted blue from head to toe and put on an almost-two-piece which has a tail attached to it.

"I'm getting fitted for contact lenses, will be head-to-toe blue, and they're trying to work out prosthetics to give me big feet," McCord said in a statement to TV Guide. "It's hysterical because Naomi shows up [at the screening] and none of the other nerds are in costume. I might get a whole new following after this!"

Lil Wayne joins fellow rapper Birdman to film a music video for "Fire Flame" remix with Gil Green serving as director. They shot performance scene in a "fire room" and were joined by Cash Money/Young Money members including DJ Khaled. Young Money president Mack Maine paid a visit as well.

"The addition to this song is, of course, Lil Wayne and the anticipation of his first video [since he got out of prison]," Green said. "I haven't even spoken to him since he's been out. I look forward to seeing him and working with him again ... The song's called 'Fire Flame' so you're in our fire room. Right now, it doesn't look like much but in a few seconds ... it's going to be incredible. It's going to get real hot in here."

British rockers Radiohead have given a group of fans permission to sell an unofficial recording of the band's Haiti charity concert to raise money for Oxfam. The group took to the stage in Los Angeles last January to help rescue efforts in the earthquake-hit nation, and a number of audience members caught the show on camera.

A group of the concert-goers have pieced together the footage into an unofficial film of the gig, and they have now been given the go ahead by Radiohead's manager to sell it on to raise more money for charity.

BAFTA Awards has announced its 2011 Rising Star nominees before unveiling the full list on January 18. Getting rave reviews for her performance in "Easy A", Emma Stone is mentioned on the category along with "Inception" star Tom Hardy and "Kick-Ass" lead actor Aaron Johnson.

In a post on his Facebook.com page, sportsman Beckham writes, "I've got some great news to tell you all. Victoria and I are expecting our fourth child this summer. The boys are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister."

Hugh Hefner has regained control of his Playboy business empire in a massive multi-million dollar deal with shareholders. The publishing mogul, who set up the company more than 50 years ago, has been involved in months of negotiations to regain a majority stake in the firm.

The 84 year old has now reportedly offered up $207 million to take increased shares in Playboy, according to TMZ.com. The Playboy Enterprises encompasses the monthly magazine, Playboy-branded TV and radio shows, casinos and merchandising.

Sci-fi blockbuster "Inception" and U.S. crime drama "Boardwalk Empire" are leading the film and TV nominations at the upcoming Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards. Martin Scorsese's hit drama dominates with five nominations in the TV categories, while Christopher Nolan's Inception leads the film categories with four.

The effects artists behind Nolan's Inception will compete for the Outstanding Visual Effects in a Visual-effects Driven Motion Picture prize against teams from "Iron Man 2", "Tron Legacy", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I".

During the TCA Press Tour on Monday, January 10, ABC and its companion network ABC Family announced several renewals for the obvious ones. "Grey's Anatomy" which continuously performs well on Thursday nights is coming back for another season along with ABC Family's new juggernaut "Pretty Little Liars".

ABC is also bringing back five other shows like "Modern Family", "Private Practice", "Castle", "Cougar Town" and "The Middle". Meanwhile, fans of Sunday combo "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters" are still holding their breath. ABC Entertainment chief Paul Lee said the former is "doing a great job" but they "have not made a decision yet" regarding the latter.

Owen Wilson has become the latest celebrity to join parenthood this year. His publicist Ina Treciokas announced on January 10 that the actor and girlfriend Jade Duell, whom he has been dating for more than a year, "are happy to be expecting a baby" together.

While the publicist did not provide more details about the pregnancy, a source said Jade is "due any day". She reportedly also plans to give birth in Hawaii where she is currently living. The source added that the soon-to-be parents "want to do everything as natural as possible."

Charlotte Church was stunned to be snubbed by Britney Spears when she was younger - because the "Toxic" hitmaker requested the meeting. The Welsh singer was partying in Los Angeles when Spears' personal assistant (PA) approached her and asked if Church would meet the superstar.

"Glee" star Matthew Morrison feels "bad" for the wannabes auditioning on Simon Cowell's reality TV shows - because he's convinced the overnight stardom they experience is "not real". The actor/singer is about to release his debut album on the back of his fame from the hit U.S. series, after spending 10 years performing on Broadway.

Morrison admits he never felt tempted to audition for a talent-finding show such as "American Idol", because he's adamant the "struggles" he faced helped shape him as an artist - and he's got a stark warning for wannabes.

Courtney Love's Twitter account has been taken offline as the rocker prepares to go to court to fight allegations she defamed a fashion designer on the microblogging website. The Hole star has been sued by Dawn Simorangkir, who alleges Love damaged her reputation with a series of angry 'Tweets' in March, 2009.

Attorneys for both sides are due to appear at a mandatory settlement conference in Los Angeles later this week, and will go to trial next month if an agreement is not reached. Love's account on the site has now been removed as her lawyers prepare to go into action.

Heather Graham's director boyfriend has dismissed reports he split from the actress over the festive season. "The Hangover" star met moviemaker Yaniv Rav in 2008 on the set of upcoming drama "Son of Mourning" and they began dating after filming wrapped.

Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis are following in the footsteps of their "Lord of the Rings" co-stars, Cate Blanchett and Elijah Wood, by joining the cast of "The Hobbit". They have signed up to reprise their roles as Gandalf and Gollum respectively in the two-part movie set in The Middle Earth.

Both Gandalf and Gollum were introduced in "The Hobbit" book by J.R.R. Tolkien. The wizard sets the adventure going in the story and appears throughout the novel, while Gollum who is also known as Smeagol appears in a chapter of "The Hobbit" novel and becomes an important supporting character in "The Lord of the Rings".

Marion Cotillard is due to be mom this Spring. The French actress is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend of three years, actor/director Guillaume Canet, whom she met while on the set of 2003 French film "Love Me If You Dare" and started dating in 2007.

Cottilard's rep confirmed the pregnancy to several media but did not disclose whether the couple is going to take their relationship to the next level.
