Florence Welch Punched Ex-Lover for Disturbing Her on Valentine's Day

British singer Florence Welch once punched an ex-boyfriend after he began shouting outside her house in the middle of the night. The Florence and the Machine's frontwoman is renowned for her feisty on-stage persona, and reveals she was once pushed to violence in real life due to a former partner's Valentine's Day antics.

She tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "I did punch an ex-boyfriend once. It was kind of funny, it was on Valentine's Day. He came to my house in the middle of the night after we had broken up and started screaming. I probably should have just stayed inside but I was furious with him for coming to my house. And then he wouldn't leave so I punched him in the face."

First Pictures of Ryan Reynolds on the Set of 'Green Lantern'

As it has been scheduled, "Green Lantern" kicked off production on Monday, March 15 in New Orleans and Ryan Reynolds apparently was the first actor who filmed his scene that day. In the pictures posted on The Green Lantern Corps Message Board, the star was seen filming his part at a bar called Old Point Bar which was renamed Broome's Bar.

During the shooting, the depicter of the titular character was not seen donning his Green Lantern costume but sporting a casual outfit. He additionally was snapped wearing a ring, which is believed to be the ring which has the great power given by Abin Sur, on the middle finger of his right hand.

Pop was struggling to get industry bosses at the gala fired up during performances of "Search & Destroy" and "I Wanna Be Your Dog" until Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, who inducted the band, joined them and encouraged his bandmates and others to get up onstage. Iggy Pop then asked, "Do we have any rocker boys ... ? Who wants to get up here ... ? Come on rich people. Let's get some rich ladies up here."

The real-life rocker tells WENN, "I asked Dakota how she got involved in the film and she said, 'You're not going to believe this, but I was in school and one of my girlfriends had these temporary tattoos and I picked a single cherry and put it on my arm. When I came home my mom said, Dakota you're not gonna believe this, but I've got a script and you're going to be playing a girl that has a cherry tattoo!' "

Rocker Scott Weiland blames "petty jealousies" and rock star wives for supergroup Velvet Revolver's demise, insisting the band felt like a "gang" when it started out. The rocker admits relationships between himself and his bandmates soured towards the end, but he takes issue with reports the stars were always fighting. Instead, the Hawaiian-born eco-warrior will donate all profits to his favorite charities. And the tour will be a green one - Johnson, who records his albums in solar-powered studios in Hawaii and Los Angeles, will fuel all tour vehicles with sustainable bio diesel, all tour merchandise will be eco-friendly and he's urging fans to ride share with others to his shows.

Robert Pattinson has been spotted back on his duty for filming "Bel Ami" on Monday, March 15. In the pictures obtained by Celebuzz from the film's set in Hertfordshire, England, the British actor was captured donning a formal black outfit matched with gray trousers while strolling around the shooting location during a break.

"Bel Ami" is a movie adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's novel with the same title which is originally set in Paris. Funeral Director: No Truth in James Brown Hidden Body Report

The funeral director who oversaw James Brown's burial has dismissed reports the soul legend's remains have been moved. The late star's lovechild, LeRhonda Pettit, alleged Brown's body has been removed from what was supposed to be his final resting place in South Carolina, insisting the remains have been hidden to prevent a full investigation into the star's passing.

She told America's Globe magazine, "My daddy's body has disappeared. I have no clue where it was taken, but I need to know where. Lady GaGa only gets less than a month to take some time off before returning to the stage again. After completing her European leg on June 4, the "Just Dance" singer along with her Monster Ball entourage will travel across North America for an extended trek starting June 28.

GaGa is scheduled to kick off the gig at Bell Centre in Montreal. Despite the fact that she suffered from exhaustion and almost passed out during a concert in New Zealand over the weekend, more than 25 dates have been listed to follow up the Montreal show. She will make the last stop on September 19 at RBC Center in Raleigh.

Gabourey Sidibe's mother has told Howard Stern to "get a life" after the shock jock made a series of unflattering comments about the plus-size actress' weight. Stern caused controversy last week after criticizing the "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" star on his Sirius radio show, urging the 26-year-old to seek help because "obesity" is a life-threatening condition.

Met at 2010 South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive, Film and Music Festival on Monday, March 15, he confirmed that he is set to join the audition. "[I] actually am going in to meet on 'Captain America,' which is kind of cool," the 35-year-old told MTV. "After Superman, he was kind of my favorite."

Boxing legend Mike Tyson is set to make his debut as a reality TV star - in a series about bird racing. The former heavyweight champion is also a life-long love pigeon keeper, and he'll showcase his passion for the birds in new U.S. series "Take on Tyson".

The program will follow Tyson and his feathered friends as he pits them against the best racing-pigeon owners in New York. He tells the New York Post, "I may have stopped fighting. But I never stopped flying birds. It's my first love." Filming is set to begin in April for the Animal Planet show, scheduled to air in early 2011.

Mike Rutherford Glad He Stored Genesis' Old Stuff

Genesis's founder Mike Rutherford is glad he insisted on keeping the band's former stage outfits, instruments and equipment stored in a barn near his studio - because it gave Rock & Roll Hall of Fame officials the chance to really represent the group in its Cleveland, Ohio museum.

Rutherford admits he always knew that keeping hold of the historic items would be a good idea - and now, thanks to the collection in his barn, the new Genesis display will be one of the museum's most established after the band is inducted on Monday night, March 15. He says, "There was a guy here this last week from the Hall of Fame museum collecting stuff - jackets and old keyboards, my double-neck guitar, some old pedals, posters."

The "Lost Boys" star died of a suspected drug overdose in Los Angeles on March 10 and his cancer-stricken mother, Judy Haim, has been struggling to gather enough cash to fly the actor's body to his native Canada.

Family members began selling Haim's possessions on internet auction site eBay as a way for fans to donate to funeral costs and his mum was even offered a $20,000 cheque advance from executives at Startifacts, the company helping to shift the memorabilia. But the matriarch recently claimed Startifacts bosses had yet to provide her with the funds, and she had instead accepted an offer from Toronto officials to pay for burial expenses.

Charlie Sheen Enters Not Guilty Plea

Charlie Sheen will stand trial in July after pleading not guilty to three domestic violence charges stemming from an alleged altercation with his wife Brooke Mueller on 2009 Christmas Day. Sheen, who has a history of drug abuse, was charged with third-degree assault, menacing, and criminal mischief. He appeared in court in Colorado on Monday, March 15 to answer the accusations, where he entered a not guilty plea. The case will go to trial on July 21.

Mika has debuted a music video in support of his single "Kick Ass" which serves as a soundtrack for an upcoming movie of the same title. Starting with a scene where the British singer was left with bloody face after being mugged in an alleyway, it moves to footage of the film, showing some lead actors such as Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicolas Cage.

The song is produced by top-notch producer RedOne, the mastermind behind hit singles from the likes of Lady GaGa and Akon. Beside having a track from Mika, the movie's soundtrack album also consists of songs performed by The Prodigy, The Pretty Reckless, Ellie Goulding and Elvis Presley.
