'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' Could Be Shot Back-to-Back

In addition to the news of Catherine Hardwicke not helming "New Moon", more interesting tidbit is coming out from "Twilight" sequels. In the "Eclipse Auditions" report posted on Alan Baltes' blog, it is noted that Summit Entertainment are planning to shoot "New Moon" and "Eclipse" one after another using the same director.

"Summit Entertainment has started preparing the sequel New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series, and to contain costs, the studio is filming the third book, Eclipse, back to back using the same new director," parts of the news read. It is further mentioned that the filming of "New Moon" is set to be kicked off in March 2009 and will continue up to the completion of "Eclipse".

'Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian' Set Visit Video

Following the outing of "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian" photos earlier, a look into the set of the "Night at the Museum" sequel has been made available. Posted by Access Hollywood, the video entitled "On The Set" highlights on the interviews with leading man Ben Stiller and his new co-star Amy Adams.

In the video, it can be seen that Stiller, who reprises his role as the bumbling night security guard Larry Daley, begins by explaining that this movie is much bigger than the original. Few quick glimpses from the sequel as well as the shooting of several scenes with the two actors have also been shared in the behind-the-scene video.

Beyonce Knowles, Duffy Lined Up for 'X Factor' Finale

This season's "The X Factor" aims it big as several international artists like Beyonce Knowles and Duffy are reportedly invited for the finale. While Beyonce is almost certain to appear on the December 13 show, Duffy is allegedly still in talks to join the line-up, The Sun reports.

According to the publication, Beyonce is most likely to perform her mid-tempo song "Irreplaceable" with contestant Alexandra Burke. The other finalists, Eoghan Quigg will make a duet with reformed boyband Boyzone while JLS will take the stage with Take That. Still, nothing is confirmed yet on this line up. Apart from doing a duet with celebrity guests, the three finalists will each be singing a favorite song they previously performed in the competition and a Christmas song.

A preview for episode 7.11 of the CBS' police procedural series, "CSI: Miami", has been released. The preview features a scene where a boy is holding a gun when suddenly there is a sound of a gun shot. It also captures a man being trapped in some kind of underground place.

Next week episode, the "Tipping Point", still revolves around Lieutenant Horatio Caine, played by David Caruso, and his CSI team. This time, with the help of local tipsters, they are fighting to save a neighborhood on the brink of being taken over by a violent street gang.

In anticipation of the coming new year, ABC offers some brand new premieres for people to watch in addition to its already-existing hit series. One of the new projects the network offers is "True Beauty", which is a beauty competition that sees its contestants being challenged with what is described as "unexpected twist". The reality series, which is executive produced by Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher, will be premiered on Monday, January 5.

On the same day, ABC will also air "The Bachelor," a renewed version of the 2002 dating game show of the same name. On Tuesday, January 6, fans of "Scrubs" will see the doctors on the comedy drama series having a new place to operate. Greater than that, the series will also feature a special guest appearance from actress Courteney Cox.

Through ThisIs50.com, Tony Yayo has released a new music video for "Shooters for Hire" which contains some horrific scenes. The song that features Uncle Murda is lifted from his latest mixtape "Black Friday" which is hosted by DJ Whoo Kid and released last month.

Yayo, a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit, is prepping the release of his second studio album. In November this year, the rapper told AllHipHop.com that his album has been wrapped up and is waiting for a release date. "My next album is done," Yayo said. "It's actually called, I Am 50's Tax Write-off. Pick it up if you want to. Basically, I'm back to having fun. I don't got Interscope to pick my single...I'm basically having fun."

The special screening gala was held on Mann's Village Theater in L.A. on Monday, December 8, evening and saw the streaming in of many Hollywood celebrities.

Reacting to the rumor that says T.R. Knight might leave Shonda Rhimes' hit medical drama series, "Grey's Anatomy", the series' representative finally comes out with a statement regarding the matter. On Monday, December 8, the spokesperson has claimed that the actor, who plays Dr. George O'Malley on the series, will not go anywhere.

To Us Magazine, the "Grey's Anatomy" representative clears previous rumor stating that Knight has left the filming set. "T.R. has never walked off set in the middle of filming. He attended the table read today and will be shooting this week, like any other week of production," the rep assures.

On other Yung Berg news, the rapper reportedly is signing for a reality show where he will go on a journey to find a "true love". 24HourHipHop.com said that an e-mail was sent to them from Berg's camp saying that they are casting "beautiful dark skin or brown skin women to showcase all races of beauty on the show". Additionally, Berg has personally requested video model Jeri J to be one of the contestants. No news yet on which network the show will be aired but the contenders would be MTV, BET or VH1.

Two of the things in their agenda would be the June festival, Glastonbury, and their own show at London's Hyde Park the following month. This year's Glastonbury is set on June 24 to June 29. PETA Attack Britney Spears' 'Circus' Music Video

Britney Spears has come under fire from PETA (The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) again for her new music video, "Circus". The video that was premiered last week, is considered a merciless act to animals because she uses cruelly trained lions and elephants in the video even after "PETA wrote to her and explained in graphic detail how trainers shock, whip, and beat exotic animals into performing."

In a press release, PETA also urge people to give an online petition that is directed to Britney to stop using exotic animals in her music videos and concerts. The organization also point out that the companies that provided Britney with the animals, Steve Martin's Working Wildlife and Have Trunk Will Travel, have a long history of animal exploitation. Following the outing of joint announcement from Summit Entertainment and Hardwicke about her not being involved in the sequel, many noted that the two could not find a middle ground for "New Moon" schedule.

While the production company is eyeing for end of 2009 or early 2010 release of the sequel, Hardwicke reportedly wants more time to produce the follow-up film. Other speculation coming up to the surface about Hardwicke's abrupt departure has suggested that there are clashes between her and the all-male hierarchy at Summit. Still, Summit's chief executive Rob Friedman was quick to reject the idea of gender issues.

'Four Christmases' Jingles for Second Time at the Box Office

The holiday spirit is all around with "Four Christmases" remaining atop the North American box office. Becoming the indisputable #1 movie at the chart this weekend, December 5 to 7, the romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn has brought in another $16.8 million to the total of $69.4 million.

Screened at 3,335 theaters across the U.S., this New Line Cinema film experiences a 46.1% decrease in sales from its last week $31.1 million bow.
