Bratt & Wife Talisa Expecting Second Child

Actor Benjamin Bratt and wife Talisa, who have had a daughter, Sophia, born in December 2002, are expecting their second child in the fall, according to a joint statement released Wednesday.

Channing Pleads Not Guilty Over DUI Charges

Emmy-winning actress Stockard Channing pleaded not guilty Wednesday April 20, 2005, over drunken driving charges stemming from an incident happened late last year on the Hollywood Freeway, because of which she was arrested on December 14 last year after allegedly trying to drive around a roadblock set up so a tow truck could remove a disabled tractor-trailer.

California Highway Patrol Officer, Alex Delgadillo, said Channing's blood-alcohol levels were .12 and .13., whereas the legal limit in California is .08. The actress had actually made the plea involving two misdemeanor counts of drunken driving through her attorney and her next hearing was scheduled for May 26, 2005.

Monroe's Estate Items will be Put Up for Auction

More than 200 personal and professional items from the estate of Marilyn Monroe will be put up for auction in June this year. The items, which have been kept in reserve for 43 years, include the star's Joe DiMaggio divorce papers, her personal phone directory and an original watercolor painting Monroe made and inscribed to President Kennedy for his birthday.

Items in the auction also include her 1956 application to a New York City court to change her name from Norma Jean Mortenson to Marilyn Monroe and a pearl gray silk dress she wore in the 1960 film "Let's Make Love." The auction will be conducted by Julien's Auctions of Los Angeles/New York at Barclay Butera in Los Angeles on June 4, 2005, while the items will be on display from May 31 up till June 3, 2005.

Veteran Gave Fonda Tobacco Split

The two-time Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda got a face full of tobacco split Tuesday April 19, 2005, in Kansas City, during a book signing for her new autobiography "My Life So Far." It was a 54 years old Vietnam veteran named Michael A. Smith who did it to her after waiting in line to have her sign her new memoir.

Smith who was not buying her memoir, told The Kansas City Star Wednesday that Fonda was a "traitor" and that her protests against the Vietnam War were unforgivable. Also he added the tobacco split as a debt of honor for Fonda, who according to him, had split in American faces for 37 years and so worth it. Thus, Smith was arrested Tuesday night on a municipal charge of disorderly conduct. He was then released on bond and is due to appear in court on May 27.

Cash's Sun Albums Packaged in Limited Box

Seven albums released by Johnny Cash under Sun Records label will be packaged together in a limited edition box set production of only 2,500 copies due May 24, 2005, from Varese Sarabande's Varese Vintage label, distributed through Universal. The set dubbed "The Original Sun Albums -- The Complete Collection" will include "Johnny Cash With His Red Hot and Blue Guitar" (1957), "Johnny Cash Sings the Songs That Made Him Famous" (1958), "Greatest!" (1959), "Johnny Cash Sings Hank Williams ... and Other Favorite Tunes" (1960), "Now Here's Johnny Cash" (1961), "All Aboard the Blue Train With Johnny Cash" (1962) and "The Original Sun Sound of Johnny Cash" (1964).

All of the discs will feature the artwork that appeared on the original release, with each includes six bonus tracks. The set will, moreover, also boast everything Cash recorded for Sun, where he got his start alongside Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. Involved too in the set are some of Cash's signature and most-loved songs, including "I Walk the Line," "Big River," "Hey Porter," "Big River," "Ballad of a Teenage Queen," "Oh Lonesome Me" and "Give My Love to Rose."

Stallone Taken to Court Over His New Magazine

Actor Sylvester Stallone has been involved in a legal battle in the sake of his new magazine "Sly", because of which name women's magazine "Sly Magazine LLC" accused the actor's publisher American Media of copyright infringement and filed a $1 million lawsuit.

To specify, "Sly Magazine LLC" is aimed at style-conscious young women with money to spend, while Stallone's "Sly" focuses on fashion and lifestyle for men who "believe that life begins at 40".

Moore Got into A Tangle with Paparazzo

Actress Demi Moore has been infuriated by an uncontrolled mad photographer, Steve Sands, who insisted to get her and boyfriend Kutcher photograph at the New York premiere of "A Lot Like Love" on April 18, 2005. Demi at first denied Sands who at that time was trying to get Demi and Ashton to turn around, but her denial has driven the paparazzo mad.

Sands started screaming Demi's home address for everyone to hear and encouraged people to show up outside her home and harass her. The actress, who felt that he was threatening and endangering her, quickly yelled 'Arrest this guy!' And so an off duty cop standing next to him removed him from the situation.

Affleck & Garner to Wed ???

Oscar-winner actor Ben Affleck has reportedly proposed girlfriend Jennifer Garner in private. Does he??? Well, E! Online columnist Ted Casablanca reported that Affleck has flown Garner's family from West Virginia to California last weekend for a surprise party honoring his leading lady at her Brentwood home. Sunday was Garner's 33rd birthday, but what the actress' family believed was that Affleck would use the moment to propose her.

Star, on the other hand, noted that Affleck has given a 4.5-carat number from Harry Winston to Garner, while the occasion wasn't clear. Explaining what's really going on, Affleck's publicist, Ken Sunshine, told E! News those reports as "garbage."

Carey Emancipated the Charts from Fiddy

Mariah Carey is comeback. Her new album titled "The Emancipation of Mimi" has really emancipated the album charts, debuted at number one with sales of 404,000, ending the six-week reign of 50 Cent's "The Massacre," which fell to number three with 140,000 copies. Moreover, Carey's Emancipation has also debuted at number one in Japan, two in Canada, four in France and at seven in the U.K.

Garbage's "Bleed Like Me," to follow, was at four, while in the fifth was Faith Evans' "The First Lady." Right after that was " Now That's What I Call Music!" Vol. 18 at six, Beck's "Guero" at seven, Green Day's "American Idiot" at eight, Gwen Stefani's "Love, Angel, Music, Baby" at nine and the Killers' "Hot Fuss" at ten.
