Mike Posner is back with another big hit. Years after dropping "Cooler Than Me", which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard Hot 100, the singer scores his second top 10 hit on the chart with his comeback single, "I Took a Pill in Ibiza".

The track was released almost a year ago from "The Truth", Posner's first EP after leaving RCA and joining Island Records. Norwegian duo SeeB gave it an unlikely dance remix treatment and it went on to become a huge hit in Scandinavia and later in the U.S.

"Pill" keeps climbing up the charts in the past few months, with it most recently reaching a new peak at No. 10 on the Hot 100 and at No. 1 on U.K.'s singles chart.

Posner is now getting ready to release his new album. After announcing, and then shelving, two LPs in five years, he recently announced that the follow-up to his 2010 debut set "31 Minutes to Takeoff" would be called "At Night, Alone." and would arrive on May 6.

In a chat with Idolator, he said that the upcoming record would sound like the original "Pill". "There are ten songs like that and a couple bonuses. At the end, as treats, there are several remixes from people all over the world. So SeeB did one, this guy called Jordan XL did one," he shared.

Asked if his fans would ever hear songs from his two scrapped albums, he said that he's working on it. "I think we're close to getting the rights to it," he said, adding that he might give away his old music "in a cool way."

"Really, I just don't know when to put it out. My fans are probably like, 'Dude, you suck. Just give it to us now.' I just have a lot of new stuff coming out that's more current to me, so I'd like to really focus on that. Then maybe, present this old music in a cool way. I'm not sure exactly how I want to do it," he added.
