The Game

Ten years since bursting into the scene with his massively successful debut album "The Documentary", The Game is back with its sequel. Having been in the works for years and delayed multiple times, the set titled "The Documentary 2" will finally come out on Friday, September 25.

For the record, Game has reunited with Dr. Dre who also worked on 2005's "Documentary". The rap mogul serves as a producer alongside the likes of Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and Scott Storch. The LP will additionally boast collaborations with a handful of big names like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, will.i.am, Ice Cube and Future.

Some of those who have listened to the album have given it positive reviews. According to Game himself, P. Diddy has even christened it the rapper's best album to date. Dre has also praised it, calling it the best hip-hop project in a few years.

When he talked about "Documentary 2" earlier this year, Game said that he could have released the project right after he put out its predecessor. Of why he eventually decided to wait until a decade to share it with the world, he explained, "You know how they say, 'Things just happen for a reason?' 10 years later seemed perfectly fine."

"I mean, it's my sixth album. My sixth solo album and I think that the 10th anniversary is huge, so why not put it out 10 years later?" he added.
