May 29, 2009Oh, and the screen writer/director, Susan Montford, stated that she wanted to make a movie about a victimized woman who goes through one night of facing all her worst fears & overcoming them. She boasts about what a great story she came up with, how wonderful the movie turned out to be, & how it would be such a hit coz it's so different. Well, lady, I'll give it to you on the "different" ok. Yeah, such a weird & predictable movie. The story goes in such a one-way path, you know exactly what's gonna happen next; it's so predictable, it makes the movie hella boring. Seriously, it's nothing you�ve never seen before�except for the fact that this movie is so dumb. I swear, if only a few humor were thrown in the movie, it could've been called "Another Scary Movie," because neither the story & the characters connected at all, & everybody�s acting sucked. & The Scottish director, Susan Montford, sucks big time!! Listen to the way she acts & talks; she should only be directing Mary Poppins movies. What a wasted movie, no wonder I never heard of it before. Only watched it coz my cousin wanted to see how Kim Basinger�s acting was like nowadays�which sucked pretty bad. I swear, she overreacted her character too damn much. Her character is bipolar & needs to be medicated. Movie was rented from Redbox, good thing it was only a waste of a dollar.

May 29, 2009Anyway, these bad guys are of a group of multi-cultural gang, one white boy, a Mexican, a black boy & a Vietnamese, all of which they don't even act, look, dress, or connect with one another. The leader, white boy, look like a bum & owns this ugly ass pos car, walks around like he's a badass coz he carries a gun; the skinny lil Mexican got this biggo tat across his collar bone, acts like a mean lil perverted devil, makes dirty comments in Spanish [like it's supposed to be dirty sexy, or arouse the audience], & his hair looks like Goku from Dragon Ball Z--terrible combos for a vato; the black boy got this split personality where he acts like a badass baller--at the same time has mixed feelings about being all paranoid & hesitant; the viet dude--now, what the hell are 'You' doin' in this movie?!? The guy's all dressed in this GQ'd hitman outfit, has a nice clean cut hair-do, look like a young quirky businessman, & yet, he's kick'n it with these other fools...now, wtf??? Wrong movie Dude! & to top it all off, the bum controls the group, hahaha, what a dumb-ass movie! Story line sucked, acting sucked, what a cheesy ass movie!

May 29, 2009Get this, she's a fragile little scared housewife who gets abused by her big mean husband, she drive all the way out to the mall "on Christmas eve"--just to get wrapping paper & could barely afford to pay for the stuff--although she lives in a half-million dollar home, gated in & everythang! Yeah-yeah, I get it, they're going through financial tough times, but shit, are rich people that dumb?? Hello�?...go to Walgreens or something, duhhh. But yea, whatever, it's just a dumb movie with a bad story line anyway. Okay, if you haven't seen the movie yet, I dare you to go rent it, watch it & please give your honest opinion about it. & please, please try not to be lenient just because you love & support Kim Basinger, or Lucas Haas.

May 29, 2009What a terribly made movie! First off, the acting were very bad: too fake--did not lock into the mood of the scenes; & then, too over exaggerated--tripping so bad over something that the character IS supposed to already be used to; & some acts just didn't make sense--it was like, "wtf, these dumb fools are all over the place!" one minute, they're trying to be bad-asses like they've done these kinds of crimes many times before [attempting to punk a victim]; the next minute, they're all scared shitless at what they'd just done; then they freak out & cry, & pour down beer for their dead homie, & the next second [literarily] they're running around the forest with the thrill expressions that they're gonna catch & kill this frantic victim/witness--whatever you wanna categorize her as, in which she beats up & kills all of them throughout the movie anyway. Well, the first bad guy got killed by one of his own boys anyway, very lame death.

May 04, 2009Well I happen to agree with the second to last review. Yes the movie has a simple plot but simple doesn't mean it's bad. It was well written. And by the way you have to have film lighting in the woods so you can see the bloody characters !! And why would it be so difficult to find her a number of times ? It's night time , ti's quiet in the woods , there are a number of factors that come into play that would allow the four guys to find her. I like the movie , not every movie has to be high budget to be good !!

Dec 04, 2008who's predictable ? how can you film in the wood at night if you dont input light ? this film was simply great and kim basinger particulary grabbed a tension i never saw. The idea is simple such as putting a gun on mediocrity's face. you should try fellows ..
