Millions (and I mean millions) of people of many nations were killed by Stalin and his minions in the Soviet Union. These millions included women and children, the deportees from Eastern Europe which the USSR invaded in September 1939, starved and frozen to death. These are forgotten millions. I welcome this movie, based on a true story, as a small nod in the direction of the lives lost in the Siberian wilderness.

Waiting for RED China suck-up Hollywod would STOP hiding itself behind done-to-death WWII moral alibis. The LONG rich, genuinely talented Weir should be---WAY beyond this.

Big credit to Weir for making this film in remembrance of all millions of peoples that perished in the concentrations camps of stalin gulags.

Weir's made his fortune and his 'fame' ---SO no excuse for turning out still more anacronistic WWII moral alibis for the debauched West and its sold-out/suck-up Red China junk credit soul...
