There's something new on the promotion of Walden Media's upcoming fantasy flick "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep." Sony Pictures as the studio distributing the movie has launched an official site for the flick, submitting few interesting features in.

Not only find a filmmaker blog where they discuss the behind-the-scene things, you can also play three different games consisting of a puzzle game, a match game and a Crusoe cruiser. More interesting is the "Life Stages" section in which you can take a look at a timeline showing the creature from egg to full-grown stage.

At first it was Jay Russell who rode on "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep". And as the man has agreed to direct the drama action flick, Emily Watson, Ben Chaplin and Alex Etel are all joining him.

Based on the Dick King Smith novel, "The Water Horse" tells the story of a lonely boy in Scotland (Etel) who finds a mysterious egg on the shore of a lake. When the egg hatches, what emerges is a "water horse," a mythical sea monster of Scottish legend.

One more "Narnia"-scale film will be produced. Hopefully it will repeat the success of the previous adventure fantasy film.

Walden Media, Beacon Pictures and Revolution Studios are all teaming up to work on the highly anticipated "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep." Based on children's fantasy novel of the same name by British author Dick King-Smith, the film tells the story of a lonely boy in Scotland who finds a mysterious egg from which hatches a "water horse" -- a mythical sea monster of Scottish legend.
