'Breaking Dawn' Gets Promise to Be Developed
December 01, 2009 04:12:58After "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" hits theaters and "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" wrapped production, fans have been expecting that Summit Entertainment will develop "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn". However, the studio has not announced yet that they will make a movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's fourth "Twilight" novel.
In a video interview that has just been posted by Making Of, "Twilight" producer Wyck Godfrey has promised that "Breaking Dawn" will be happening. "There's every intention to make 'Breaking Dawn'," he stated after explaining how they have put a lot of their efforts into the first two films.

Recently, the man behind "Alice in Wonderland" commented on the actor's opinion on him to direct the latest installment of the vampire drama movie.
"He's being biased, because I worked with him on 'Sweeney Todd'," Burton said with laugh when he was interviewed by MTV at the opening of a retrospective of his work at New York's Museum of Modern Art. "But that's nice to hear. In case potential jobs run out, it'd be nice to know someone."

Robert Pattinson Wants 'Breaking Dawn' to Be Helmed by Gus Van Sant

In a recent interview with MTV, the actor has revealed his desire to work with Gus Van Sant, the man behind 1997 "Good Will Hunting". "I think Gus Van Sant would be great to do it," he said.
As for his reason in choosing Van Sant, the actor claimed the helmer has good reputation for making film in Portland, where the shooting for the next installment of the "Twilight" movies will possibly take place. "He shoots everything in Portland. He's good at making it look beautiful," he credited the director. Later, he added, "It's all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great."

'Breaking Dawn' Will Start Filming in 2010
November 10, 2009 10:11:36Though Summit Entertainment has yet to announce that the fourth book of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga will be made into film, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson has confirmed that "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" is likely to happen. Met at the press conference for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", he claimed the fourth film is "pretty much inevitable."
Moreover, Pattinson has got a temporary production schedule for the next installment of the vampire drama movies, saying that he may start the shooting before the end of 2010. "I think it's going to be probably end of next year before filming," he stated. However, he added that the schedule is still subject to change.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" director Chris Weitz revealed the fact that he is yet to be approached by Summit Entertainment for the chance to helm the proposed fourth movie.
"No official offer has been made," the 39-year-old shared. "The fans have been enthusiastic about the footage and the trailer, and the studio responds to that by feeling good about me. We'll have to see how people feel about the entire movie, not only the studio but the fans, before the verdict is out whether I direct Number 4."

Providing the denial was Gossip Cop which has come out with a claim that "as of now, nothing is official." The site further quoted a Summit rep as saying, "The film has not been greenlit - and thus no decisions about the film's shooting location, start date, the director, etc...have been made."
The rumor that the production of "Breaking Dawn" has got the thumbs up was sparked by Acting-Auditions.org on Saturday, October 10. In the report, the blog claimed that Sunswept Entertainment was brought in by Summit as a second production company, and that casting call for other roles like Renesmee Cullen is likely. Accordingly, it reported that the filming which will take place in Portland, Oregon won't begin until September 2010.

Rumor of Fifth 'Twilight' Movie Straightened Up
August 24, 2009 10:08:26Before the speculation of a potential fifth "Twilight" film grows bigger, both actor Boo Boo Stewart and a representative for Summit Entertainment have put the brakes on. After sparking frenzy with his comment suggesting a possible fifth movie, Stewart told Radar Online, "There was some false communication, so far it's just Eclipse that's coming out."
Also sounding a denial to the story was a representative for Summit Entertainment. Contacting Access Hollywood, the rep made note that Stewart's words were "premature". "We appreciate our young actor's enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate," stated the rep.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, the newest member of the "Twilight Saga" cast, Boo Boo Stewart, hints on the possibility.
Having been tapped to portray Seth Clearwater in "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", Stewart told Access' Laura Saltman, "I heard there's going to be three more movies. Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, and there should be one more." The 15-year-old additionally shed a little light on his character explaining, "In the first movie he's introduced, and the part gets bigger as the movies go on. Jacob's the biggest [werewolf], and then he's right there."

A copyright lawyer representing writer Jordan Scott, who claimed many "Breaking Dawn" plot lines resemble her 2006 vampire tale "The Nocturne", revealed the intention to MTV.
Stating that Scott doesn't look for any compensation from Meyer or her publisher, Little, Brown & Co., which is part of the Hachette Book Group, Craig Williams stated that his client seeks for acknowledgment of the similarity and a cessation of the circulation of the book in addition to stopping the book from being adapted into a movie. "We also want to stop them from making it into a movie and profiting from her [Scott's] work," so the lawman stated.

Acting 411 sparked the speculation, writing "Sources say that Breaking Dawn will be filmed and released in a new trilogy - 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I', 'Part II' and 'Part III'."
Noting that the studio is yet to officially confirm the possibility, the site backed up its story with author Stephenie Meyer's statement on StephenieMeyer.com. "If Breaking Dawn were ever made into a movie, it's hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes," so she wrote. "The book is just so long! 'The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn' Starts Right After 'Eclipse'

In a recent interview with Ashley Greene, E! Online got the scoop that the fourth "Twilight" movie will happen right after the third film of the series. 22-year-old Greene said in her own word, "We're going to start right after Eclipse."
Though she seemed so sure about when "Breaking Dawn" will happen, the Alice Cullen's depicter admitted that she hasn't seen or read the fourth film's script. Addressing director issue for the final movie of the series, she further suggested that "Breaking Dawn" is likely to get new director. Asked whether any of the previous directors might return, she responded, "I don't think so. [Eclipse director] David [Slade] and [New Moon director] Chris [Weitz] will both be busy in post-production, and Catherine [Hardwicke] will be doing Hamlet."
