'Then She Found Me' Trailer Released!

The trailer of 's new dramedy film "" has come out online. The video footage that lasts up more than two minutes gives out the idea what the movie is all about.

The trailer starts with the introduction of the main character April by showing the clips where she is marrying her husband followed by appearing lines stating, "April's life was all planned out..." Then, it can be seen that she is arguing with her sick mother, whom she found out to be her adoptive mother, while another lines comes up, "...but life can change...in a heartbeat."

Closing the 19th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival on Sunday, January 13, the Palm Springs International Film Society announced "" as one of the festival winners. At a luncheon at the Spencer's Restaurant, 's directorial debut film won the audience's heart that led to the snagging of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature.

The romantic comedy film starring Hunt, , and beat out other contenders, including "", "The Year My Parents Went on Vacation", "Late Bloomers", "The Band's Visit" and "Noodle". It made its U.S. premiere when it opened the Festival and is scheduled for limited release on April 25.

Then She Found Me to Open 19th Annual Palm Springs Film Festival

On Tuesday, December 11, the Palm Springs International Film Society announced that "" will open its 19th annual film festival. The movie which marked the directorial debut of the Academy Award winning actress, , will be showcased at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Palm Springs High School auditorium. Following the premiere screening of the comedy drama movie, an Opening Night Reception will be held at the Palm Springs Art Museum.

The movie which also stars , and resolved around Hunt's character, April. April is a 39-year-old schoolteacher whose life crumbling around her when her adoptive mother passed away and her husband left her. At that time, she met her famous biological mother who claimed that she wanted to know her long-lost daughter. Making her life even complicated, she then met a new man, the father of one of her students.

More film features are getting included in the growing list of movies to be screened at this year's Toronto International Film Festival with the new announcement coming from the event's organizers on Thursday, July 5.

Making its way to join the lineup is David Auburn's drama "" which centers on a mother traumatized by the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter who later takes a troubled girl under her wing. Pic reportedly will be shown in the Special Presentations slot alongside "" and "", the feature directorial debut of actress Helen Hunt.

Lining up to bring more highlights to the movie, , , and have given nods to join the cast of "", a directorial film debut of "Mad About You" star .

Firth will play a man whom Hunt's character meets through one of her students while Broderick is billed as her husband and Middler as her birth mother. The movie itself is a drama based on Elinor Lipman's novel of the same title and is being financed by The Blue Rider fund and the bank ICB. The script initially was adapted by Alice Arlen, but later was re-written by Hunt and Vic Levin with Hunt making the final polish. Production of the picture is currently taking place in Brooklyn.
