Heart-Warming Second Trailer of 'Sunshine Cleaning' Hits
October 13, 2008 12:10:23Another trailer to Overture Films' "Sunshine Cleaning" has arrived. Focusing on the two sisters, Rose and Norah Lorkorswki, the brand new trailer gives out a background story to how Rose can come up with the Sunshine Cleaning idea, and how the crime scene cleaning business makes the two grow closer to each other.
Rose Lorkorswki is a single mother who has an eccentric eight-year-old son and cleans houses as her job, while Norah Lorkorswki is a slacker who has no job and still lives under one roof with her father, who always plots get-rich-quick schemes. Having to put her son into a better school and learning that cleaning crime scenes gives quick cash, Rose persuades Norah to be her partner in a crime scene cleaning business, putting themselves in a condition that they never think they would achieve.

March 05, 2007 03:03:19Seeing herself make a reunion with both Alan Arkin and Big Beach Films after "Little Miss Sunshine", Mary Lynn Rajskub has given agreement to join the cast of "Sunshine Cleaning", which is currently shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Lining up with other cast members like Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, and Steve Zahn, the "24" star will portray a technician for a blood bank who becomes the object of Blunt's sexual obsession. The story itself follows a woman named Rose Lorkowski as she forms a business of doing biohazard removal and crime scene clean up, accompanied by her unreliable sister Norah.

February 20, 2007 10:02:58Rounding out the cast lineup, Steve Zahn has landed deals to have a starring role in dark comedy flick "Sunshine Cleaning", The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Joining the likes of Amy Adams, Alan Arkin, Emily Blunt, Clifton Collins Jr., Eric Christian Olsen, and Kevin Chapman, the "Sahara" star will portray a married police officer named Mac who has an affair with Rose Lorkowski, played by Adams. Meanwhile, Arkin and Blunt are billed to be Rose's relatives and partners in her business of cleaning messy crime scenes.

Amy Adams and Emily Blunt Doing "Sunshine Cleaning"
September 02, 2006 10:09:23Two glowing, beautiful stars are ready to bring more light on to "Sunshine Cleaning." According to a report coming from Production Weekly, Amy Adams and Emily Blunt have given positive sign to join the cast of the project developed under Big Beach banner, the production company which recently earned success with indie hit "Little Miss Sunshine."
Budgeted at about $7 million, pic is expected to start production early next year with New Zealand filmmaker Christine Jeffs at helm and Glenn Williamson co-producing. The story will center on a woman who wants to send her eight-year-old son to a private school then concludes to enter the business with her unreliable sister in order to gain more earnings.
