each actor is just right for the part...doesn't really follow the book...but still good...why hasn't Cole Hauser "broke out"??...he's good..and sexy, too

Outstanding brilliant fil. A must see for those who appreciate fine acting and excellent cinematography. Burstyn is ideal in her role as Hagar. Overlooked is the exceptional acting of JOYCE KRENZ as Auntie Doll who looked after the young Hagar when she was disowned.
