this is perhaps not the most sophisticated storytelling, and the transitions between the narrative's parallel threads could be smoother. But there's an infectious joyousness to the movie, right down to its fanciful fairy-tale ending
"Sing Street" is just like the old singles it idolizes - sharp, slick, snappy. And it leaves you with nothing more than an urge to sit through it all again
