Michael Pena to Star in "Shooter"
April 24, 2006 02:04:21His many movie credits and lots of experience in performing various characters have given Michael Pena more than enough provisions to take "Shooter" as his next film project.
There in the political thriller, he will play opposite Mark Wahlberg who's been set to portray an ace marksman who is framed for a presidential assassination he was trying to prevent. He is forced to go on the run while trying to track down the real killer and find out who betrayed him. As of Pena, he will play the nemesis of Wahlberg's character.

"Shooter" to Begin Filming on June 12 in Vancouver
April 05, 2006 04:04:53Filming on "Shooter", as that reported by Hollywood North Report, will be begun. And so, all the people behind the film project are kept busy with various preparations as filming reportedly will begin on June 12 in Vancouver through August 30 at Lionsgate Studios.
"Shooter" is a drama thriller flick based on Stephen Hunter's novel "Point of Impact". Cast on board is Mark Wahlberg.

Surprisingly good movie that is done in a very beleivable way, well acted and good suspense throughout. The ending is great as for once the good guy breaks the rules and puts his training to good use...
