'Season of the Witch' Gets New Trailer
November 21, 2009 01:11:43Lionsgate Films has released a new trailer for supernatural thriller "Season of the Witch". While the previous teaser only managed to introduce some characters of the film, the full theatrical trailer debuted by Fandago gives a look at the journey of a group of knights in transporting an accused witch as well as the obstacles that come in their way.
A 14th century Crusader, Lavey, returns with his comrade Felson to their homeland just to find that it is left devastated by the Black Plague. As church blames sorcery as the cause of the plague, the two knights are ordered to transport an accused witch called The Girl to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

October 22, 2009 02:10:20First look into the forthcoming supernatural film "Season of the Witch" has come out in the form of a teaser trailer. Brought forth by IGN, the sneak peek is less than a minute long and mostly centers its attention at some of the film's cast ensemble, Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman and Claire Foy.
Cage stars as a 14th century crusader who returns home with his comrade and finds their land is left devastated by the Black Plague. As church blames sorcery as the cause of the plague, the two knights are sent on a mission to transport an accused witch to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

Nicolas Cage On-Board Supernatural 'Season of the Witch'
September 22, 2008 02:09:35Nicolas Cage has teamed up again with his "Gone in 60 Seconds" director Dominic Sena to tackle a new project unlike they have done previously. Both of them are up for "Season of the Witch", a supernatural-themed thriller that will be produced by Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Media and Atlas Entertainment.
Cage in particular will play a knight in the 14th century who guards a girl who is highly-suspected as the witch who causes the Black Plague. His and his companions' objective is to get the girl to a mountain abbey of monks who specialize in exorcising demons.
