Video: Milla Jovovich and Boris Kodjoe On the Set of 'Resident Evil 4'
December 02, 2009 02:12:42Milla Jovovich keeps giving updates on the production of her upcoming movie "Resident Evil: Afterlife" via her Twitter account. On Tuesday, December 1, she posted a video that features herself and co-star Boris Kodjoe on the movie's set. Beside revealing that the actor has finished shooting his part for the movie, they also claimed to have watched a trailer of the film.
The fourth "Resident Evil" is currently filming in Canada. The shooting was started in September and is planned to be finished in December this year. Previously, Jovovich has announced that the first trailer may arrive in January 2010. Beside Jovovich and Kodjoe, the movie also stars Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller, and Spencer Locke.

'Resident Evil' May See Fifth Film
November 16, 2009 11:11:18While "Resident Evil: Afterlife" has yet to wrap its production in Canada, there are already talks about the follow-up to the fourth installment of the thriller movie franchise. Recently, producer Jeremy Bolt told Ryan Rotten from Shock Till You Drop, "If it does well enough obviously we'll do another one."
Moreover, Bolt admitted that he actually hopes to make the fourth film as the beginning of a new trilogy. "Yes, we are hoping [we can get the new characters seen in 'Afterlife' back], that would be a dream to have another three [films]," he said.

Teaser Trailer for 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' to Come Out in January
November 13, 2009 02:11:18After revealing that Jill Valentine may be back in "Resident Evil: Afterlife", Milla Jovovich has given some information about the upcoming film. On Thursday, November 12, she took it to her Twitter page to announce that the studio will release a preview video for the movie in the beginning of 2010.
"There will b a teaser trailer in theaters in jan. Is what I just heard," Jovovich wrote. Additionally, the depicter of Alice in the horror movie franchise said that the shooting, which was kicked off on September 25, will be wrapped around the middle of December this year.

From the filming set of "Resident Evil: Afterlife" on Monday, November 9, the depicter of Alice in the movie franchise wrote, "Valentine MAY b back..."
Jovovich made a reference to another hero character Jill Valentine who last appeared in the second movie "Resident Evil: Apocalypse". The character was portrayed by Sienna Guillory who has not confirmed her return in the role. Guillory reportedly was slated to be back for "Resident Evil: Extinction" but due to other work commitments, she passed on the role and the character did not appear in the third movie.

First Photos of 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' From the Set
November 06, 2009 11:11:49"Resident Evil: Afterlife" has kicked off its principal photography in Toronto, Canada in late September, and set photos have begun surfacing. Shock Till You Drop has recently made public two pictures taken from the sci-fi thriller set, exposing first look at Milla Jovovich as Alice and Ali Larter as Claire Redfield for the new movie.
The pics also share captures of Spencer Locke who is returning to the "Resident Evil" series as K-Mart, and the new addition to the cast, Wentworth Miller. Wentworth takes on the role of Claire's brother, Chris Redfield. From what the photos shown, it seems that the particular scene is taken on a boat. There is no explanation on what or who are the people in the white outfit.

The story of the fourth "Resident Evil" movie goes like this, "In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety."
"Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend," it continues to read. "A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap."

'Resident Evil: Afterlife': Ali Larter Returns and Wentworth Miller Joins
September 22, 2009 04:09:45"Resident Evil: Afterlife" will see the return of another star and the joining of another newcomer to the franchise. In an interview with Black Film to promote "Surrogates", newly-appointed cast member Boris Kodjoe revealed that Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller have been added to the cast ensemble.
"It's gonna be Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, I'm the new one, and Wentworth Miller is also in the movie," Kodjoe gushed. "He's the lead in 'Prison Break'." While Larter is expected to reprise her "Resident Evil: Extinction" role as Claire Redfield, he said Miller will be "playing a guy that we actually locked up when we took over the jail because we weren't sure if he was one of them or not. He comes into play as we try to find a way to get out with our survivors."

'Resident Evil: Afterlife' Gets New Release Date

At the press day for "A Perfect Getaway" over the weekend, the actress who plays action heroine Alice in the series opened up to Bloody-Disgusting about what to expect from the fourth installment, including hints on plot and who the studio brings in to work on the 3-D.
"I'm the lead role [again]," the 33-year-old first revealed on her involvement, before teasing on the plot. "There's the clones and it's going to be a lot of work. I'm gonna be working every day for the next four months on this and it's gonna be bigger than ever. It's super-exciting." Providing a little bit more information on the clones, she elaborated, "Let's just say this. The clones are definitely in it."

'Resident Evil 4' Supposedly Arrives Late 2010

Anderson said he is working on fourth "Resident Evil" movie, reports on possible release date are coming in for the fourth installment of the video game adaptation series. Shock Till You Drop (STYD) recently broke out that the studio eyes to release the movie in U.S. theaters by September 17, 2010.
STYD claimed the news came from a Sony insider suggesting that an internal memo of the matter has circulated through the studio's offices. In addition to the potential release date, the site reported that the fourth movie is likely to be called "Resident Evil: Afterlife". Screen Gems, Sony's subsidiary company which has produced the previous "Resident Evil" movies, is yet to give any official comment on the story.

The action horror flick will be set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with mutant zombies and will play in the Nevada desert with the Aussie outback standing in for the American wasteland.
"Resident Evil: Afterlife" continues Alice's battle with the diabolical Umbrella Corp. as she races to expose a virus that is threatening mankind with extinction before a new race of clones called the Undead finishes the job. Set to make a comeback performance as Alice is Milla Jovovich. In the meantime, Paul W.S. Anderson is writing the screenplay.
