'Rambo 5' to Be Filmed in Bulgaria?

As the fifth installment of the iconic action movie "" has been rumored to be developed, it was further reported that the shooting for "Rambo 5" is going to take place in one of the Southern European countries. According to Internet reports, the follow-up to the action film starring will be heading to Bulgaria due to the low-cost filming there.

Despite reported to being shot in the former communist country, the fifth Rambo film will be set in the U.S. MovieHole.net claimed that the setting of the action film will be resembling a town in Arizona. "The street sets of Bulgaria that are getting the makeover, the same ones that were rented out and used in Van Damme's The Shepherd, will be doubling for Rambo's hometown, which is supposed to somewhere in Arizona," a source told the movie news site.

Having two box office movies with "Rocky" and "", reportedly wants to do more action films. According to Hollywood Reporter, the action star has signed a lucrative deal to direct and star in two more action films with his "Rambo" producers Danny Dimbort, Avi Lerner and Trevor Short.

Though it wasn't clear on what film to be made on the deal. Allegedly, several scripts, including sequels to "First Blood" and "Rocky", are being considered for the follow-ups. Further, it was reported that Stallone will also produce the films with Kevin King-Templeton and Lerner, whereas Dimbort, Short and Boaz Davidson to serve as executive producers.

Has been launched since two weeks ago, the official site for "" now delightfully contains some goodies to be explored.

Some features that have come active include story, cast & crew info, gallery, video, and downloads. Others like "Video Mashup", "Jungle Survival", "Instruments of Force", "Enemy Territory", and "Shooting Game" are said to be come up soon. Looks like the latter pack will contain a bunch of interesting things we can take a look at.

Included in the batch is a picture of what seemingly to be the group of mercenaries Rambo takes along with to find the missing missionaries. There are also several images of the local villagers and the Vietnam War veteran with someone else.

Available now at YouTube as seen below, the trailer runs about two and a half minutes and still boasts some explosive scenes here and there though is less gory than the first one. Footage is presented in a time-line fashion, showing us the titular character's early refusal to help before finally going back in action to rescue the kidnapped missionaries.
