'Race to Witch Mountain' Allows a Sequel

After hitting box office chart when it was released in March, one of the cast members thinks "Race to Witch Mountain" deserves to get a sequel treatment. In a press junket at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles to promote his upcoming film "Planet 51", Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, the depicter of Jack Bruno in the Walt Disney's adventure movie, has talked about the future of the film.

"Great success breeds a lot of things, including sequels. The storyline was set up for a sequel, so we'll see," The Rock said. However, he cannot speak further about the possible second "Race to Witch Mountain" film as the actor himself is "not quite too sure" about it. "I'm not ruling it out. I just can't speak to it because I don't know. I haven't spoken to any of the guys up at Disney about it," he added.

Opened in 3,187 theaters across the U.S. last Friday, March 13, Disney's "Race to Witch Mountain" has taken the top slot at the North American box office from last week champion "Watchmen". Exceeding analysts' expectation, the adventure comedy movie has raced to the #1 slot by garnering $24.4 million over the weekend.

While its opening bow wasn't as big as "Horton Hears a Who!", this Walt Disney Pictures' family-oriented adventure has soared above The Rock's previous starring movie by the mouse house, "The Game Plan". "Race to Witch Mountain" bow was also bigger than what "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D", "The Last Mimzy" and "Sky High" had collected previously.

Super Bowl TV Spot for 'Race to Witch Mountain' Reels In More Action

MTV has previewed the first look at Super Bowl TV spot for "Race to Witch Mountain". While relatively shorter than the trailers, the one-minute snippet brings more never-before-seen footage from the Disney's adventure fantasy, teasing more on the action sequences as well as the ticklish scenes to be expected.

The spot kicks off with a scene in which two clone troopers are jumping into Jack Bruno's cab to Bruno's surprise. While the two clone-costumed men take their seats, Bruno gets a notice from headquarter that UFO convention is in town. The spot then cuts to the footage where Bruno is asking two teenagers aboard his cab where they are heading to, from then on the action-packed adventure begins to unravel.

A brand new international trailer of "Race to Witch Mountain" has been unraveled. Posted by Teaser Trailer, this video footage brings a different introduction to the movie. While the earlier released teaser gives background story about the Witch Mountain itself, this trailer opens with a scene in a command center where authorities are made busy with an unknown object descending fast towards the Earth.

A thrilling action-adventure from Walt Disney Pictures, the adventure fantasy follows a hard luck Las Vegas cab driver named Jack Bruno. Walt Disney Pictures have released a brand new trailer of "Race to Witch Mountain". Serving as an introduction to the Witch Mountain itself and giving out idea what the movie is all about, the promotional video shares glimpses of the leading actors, The Rock, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig and Carla Gugino, in their journey to get to Witch Mountain before it's too late.

Starting with a shoot of a street from a moving car, the trailer moves on with an explanation from a narrator that 150 miles outside of Las Vegas, there is a place where unexplained phenomenon occurs. The place is called Witch Mountain. The footage then cut to an aerial shoot of Las Vegas and a hard luck Las Vegas cab driver Jack Bruno asking two teenagers in his cab where they want to go. As the footage continues it is unraveled that the two teenagers are no ordinary teenagers.

I LOVED this movie! I saw it on the 13th.I liked the originals to. Yeah Ill admitt its mostly because I think Alexander Ludwig is hot<3. but other than that I liked it!
