Red Carpet Rolled Out for 'Push' Los Angeles Premiere

Less than ten days away from the theatrical release of "Push" in the U.S., Summit Entertainment held a Los Angeles premiere for the sci-fi action thriller. The studio rolled down red carpet in front of Mann Village Theater in Westwood, California on Thursday, January 29, to welcome celebrities attending the special screening event.

Spotted coming to the premiere were most of the film's cast ensemble; they were Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Djimon Hounsou, Neil Jackson, Maggie Siff and Ming-Na. On the occasion, Evans, Fanning, Belle and Hounsou also joined director Paul McGuigan on the red carpet and posed for the press line.

As "Push" is counting down to its theatrical release in February, two of the sci-fi thriller stars, Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou open up about the upcoming movie from director Paul McGuigan. In a group interview held over the weekend in Los Angeles, the two discuss on the twisting plot of the movie as well as their experiences working for it.

Addressing the question about the complex storylines of "Push", Belle admits that she herself has trouble keeping up with the plot. "I remember a few moments where we all sat down and said, 'What happens? Where are we supposed to be going now?'" the 22-year-old actress fesses up, as quoted by Sci Fi Wire. "The plot itself is very confusing," she added. "We still don't understand exactly what happened."

Paul McGuigan's 'Push' Brings Out Another Set of New Clips

Nick Gant and Cassie Holmes continue to battle baddies, and Kira Hudson outsmarts a Division agent are some of the footage shown in the four freshly-found clips of "Push". Entitled "Fish Market", "I Don't Have A Brother", "Relieved of Duty" and "You Are A Crappy Artist", the snippets are varied in their running time length, from 36 seconds to a minute.

The "Fish Market" clip shows Nick and Cassie's attempt to escape the evil gang of psychics which they encounter in a crowded market. The new clip continues the battle sequences, displayed in previously released clip called "They're in the Market". Another new clip, "I Don't Have A Brother", provides a scene where Kira is using her 'Pusher' ability to make agent Mack shoots down his partner.

Four New Clips From Paul McGuigan's 'Push'

After the "Telekinetic Gun Fight" clip from "Push" made its round earlier, four more clips from the Paul McGuigan's riveting action-thriller have been found. One of the new clips, entitled "Psychic Showdown", was outed exclusively via Apple, while the rest were found by a French site, Allocine.

In "Psychic Showdown", Chris Evans' Nick Gant is involved in a fist fight with another man who has similar power to his, while others are firing bullets at them. The next clip is called "Lead Us to the Girl" where Nick and Dakota Fanning's Cassie try to convince Emily Hu to lead them to the girl they are looking for by showing a bead and Cassie's ability.

Chris Evans Involved in Telekinetic Gun Fight in 'Push' Clip

A two-minute clip from "Push" has been unraveled. Taking its focus on one of the main characters, the video footage features the time Chris Evans' Nick Gant gets into deep trouble when he decides to confront Djimon Hounsou's Henry Carver in a Chinese restaurant.

Walking into the restaurant, Gant firstly uses his telekinetic power to lift up his two guns in the air. After he comes face-to-face with the Division agent, he slowly lowers the guns to take aim directly at the heads of Carver and his companion. But, things go wrong when Carver slaps the gun away and his quiet companion starts attacking Gant, forcing him to fight for his life.

"Push", the sci-fi thriller movie in which Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle star as people gifted with an extraordinary power has got its trailer released. Taking viewers to the world of psychic espionage, the video footage provides an introduction into what should be expected from the Summit Entertainment flick.

Guided by the voiceover of the central character, Nick Gant, who explains the difference of the people like him and others, the trailer unveils many of the movie's action sequences. In the footage, Nick reveals that he can move object with his mind, while some others can control other people's mind or see the future. He then points out that there is a secret government organization, Division, which is chasing after these psychics to turn them into weapon.

Stars Picked to Highlight Thriller Pic Push

Constructing a promising lineup of cast, filmmakers of "Push" have successfully signed bright talents of Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, and Djimon Hounsou to all take starring parts in the movie, Variety has reported.

Story follows a group of young American ex-pats who possess telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities as they hide from a U.S. government agency in Hong Kong and band together to try to escape the control of the division.

Dakota is a very cute,beautiful and talented actress, she made a lot of movies and she has enough money so I can´t understand why is playing such scenes in which she plays a nude its unbelievable thats really irresponsible, Dakota is so happy and lucky she should act in other movies in which she doesn´t has to undress her clothes or something like this !!!

Camilla Belle I think plays a very interesting role in this movie,The character looks angry or depressed,which is the total opposite of Camilla But this shows how talented of an actor Camilla Belle really is.And I'm really excited to see the movie because it is something completely different and new thats why it's so good

The movie was great, however they're completely missing the boat on the soundtrack... find the moron that decided not to release it and fire him.

I love this movie because of the action. The music was amazing after the movie i looked up all the music and i have it. I think all the acters did great I like how it has little romance between Nick and Cura. Dakota did great too I liked how she played drunk, that was funny. Hope there's another Push cause one is not enough!!! <3
