Two Hear the "Pretty Bird" Chirp
June 27, 2007 12:06:12Both going for a smaller scale in their next move, Paul Giamatti and Emily Mortimer are poised to topline an indie comedy entitled "Pretty Bird" which actor Paul Schneider is set to direct, JoBlo has reported.
In the project, Giamatti is said to play a lovable loser who intends to invent a rocket belt in hopes that it will make him famous. Keen to reach his goal, he then enlists help from some of his friends -- only they succeed, and subsequently begin to turn on one another. Meanwhile, Mortimer will be billed to portray a young woman named Mandy who serves as the Director of Marketing for their rocket belt operation.
