Sequel title apparently still becomes the dominating part in attracting moviegoers' attention as "Ocean's Thirteen" is now taking its turn to reign over the weekend domestic box office ended June 8, 2007.

Superbly selling $36.1 million worth of tickets in its first three-day run, the follow-up to 2004's "Ocean's Twelve" automatically shoves last-week champ "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" to second rank for the latest installment of Disney's hit seafaring tale series is unable to fare higher than $21.1 million this time.

The night in Cannes on Thursday, May 24 really carried a different air to the city's Grand Theatre Lumiere when big names eagerly gathered together for the world premiere of "Ocean's Thirteen" held as part of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.

Walking down the red carpet were George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon joined by Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, and Elliot Gould, all clad in white shirts and black tuxedos with the former three wearing bow ties which definitely looked good on them.

In celebrating the coming of its much-anticipated caper comedy "Ocean's Thirteen" next month, Warner Bros. Pictures has delightfully revealed that the starry cast and filmmakers of the flick will be going around the States for a number of events leading up to the film's June 8 release with two of them benefiting the aid group the International Rescue Committee for Not On Our Watch.

The events will kick off in Hollywood at Grauman's Chinese Theatre with the Hand & Footprint Ceremony held for stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon plus producer Jerry Weintraub on Tuesday, June 5 at 11:30 am. It will then be followed by the North American premiere of the film later that evening at the same place, starting at 7:00 pm and attended by the all-star cast as well as Weintraub, director Steven Soderbergh, and screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien.

Allowing fans and moviegoers to have another look on its highly anticipated flick "Ocean's Thirteen", Warner Bros. Pictures has fully set the official site for the movie on the web in the wait for it to hit theaters on June 8 this year.

Those who visit the website can view a number of new photos from the picture while getting able to download some buddy icons, wallpapers, poster, and screensaver as well as using the film's MySpace page link. More to come are info about cast and filmmakers, showtimes & ticket section, also those of partners and promotion.

Available exclusively at Yahoo! Movies, the trailer can be via both Windows Media and Quicktime format in High Definition. In addition, fans can also accessed the teaser trailer on the site as well as a series of production photos of the movie.

Looks like audience will again get another glimpse of Bruce Willis in the latest "Ocean's" installment. MTV has reported that Bernie Mac, who is back as Frank Catton in "Ocean's Thirteen", has spilled the bean that the "Die Hard" star is indeed onboard the flick, said to be the last of the hit franchise.

"Bruce Willis is in this one too," the funnyman revealed as quoted by MTV.

It's time for Danny Ocean's journey to come to an end. Director Steven Soderbergh has shockingly revealed to public that "Ocean's Thirteen" will be the last installment of the franchise, putting off hopes on the possibility of the next sequel.

Confirming it during a question and answer session with reporters at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland on Saturday, August 19, the filmmaker also explained that his decision to make "Ocean's Thirteen" was actually because "George wanted to go out strong and that Ocean's Twelve was too complicated."

What's new from movie industry is the report mentioning "Ocean's Thirteen" is ready to roll. Is that true? Well, maybe as producer Jerry Weintraub is said to already working on a plot for the second sequel to "Ocean's Eleven."

Weintraub is said to have been working on a plot with director Steven Soderbergh and his Section Eight partner George Clooney. Meanwhile, Brian Koppelman and David Levein are both in hand to write the script.
