Movie Story
Breaking up is hard to do, but sometimes it can be downright dangerous. In the Ivan Reitman comedy "My Super Ex-Girlfriend," Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) thinks he's finally found the perfect girlfriend, the beautiful Jenny Johnson (Uma Thurman) - who just so happens to be a superhero. When Jenny/G-Girl becomes overly possessive, Matt wants to call it quits – but how do you break up with a superhero? A scorned woman, Jenny/G-Girl unleashes on her ex the full fury of her super-powered wrath as she sets out on a no-holds-barred mission to bust up Matt's budding romance with his co-worker Hannah (Anna Faris).
Reader's Reviews

No oscars here, just pure chick flick fun, great night out with the girls, or genius revenge on your arch nemisis partner for subjecting you to endless comic book hero flicks, muhahahahaha.... Some fantastic laugh out loud scenes and great comic moments, reasonably well scripted for the type of film. Luke Wilson underplays his gender reversal role as Lois Lane well with added understated comic expression and timing which suits the character and film perfectly, Uma Thurman makes an extremely convincing physco ex and Clark Kent/Superman, and type casted Anna Farris sticks to what she does best and what we love her for. No thought required and pretty predictable, its fun escapism and good feeling fluff.
