Weekend North American Box Office of June 15-17, 2007
June 18, 2007 11:06:04With the continuous flow of movie sequels hitting the theaters, sure it is rather unsurprising to see one taking over after another for the top place on the box office battle, and coming out as the latest in the band is "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", the 20th Century Fox's follow-up to its 2005 "Fantastic Four."
Debuting at $58.1 million in ticket sales, the superhero flick triumphantly soars to secure the No. 1 title in the competition as the number proves far bigger than the $19.7 million booty that last week's champ "Ocean's Thirteen" has garnered, thereby forcing it to go one notch to the second position this time.

Weekend North American Box Office of June 8-10, 2007
June 11, 2007 10:06:49Sequel title apparently still becomes the dominating part in attracting moviegoers' attention as "Ocean's Thirteen" is now taking its turn to reign over the weekend domestic box office ended June 8, 2007.
Superbly selling $36.1 million worth of tickets in its first three-day run, the follow-up to 2004's "Ocean's Twelve" automatically shoves last-week champ "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" to second rank for the latest installment of Disney's hit seafaring tale series is unable to fare higher than $21.1 million this time.

Weekend North American Box Office of June 1-3, 2007
June 04, 2007 10:06:39Coming out as a complete package of cinematic entertainment for its adventurous tale, memorable characters, and stunning special effect, it's really not surprising to find "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" continuing to draw big bucks to once again take the top spot on weekend domestic box office ended June 3, 2007.
Plundering $44.2 million in its second spin on the chart, the latest installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" series thereby forces newcomer "Knocked Up" to get satisfied with just being the runner-up as the comedy fares way lesser at $30.6 million in its first three-day run. However, the amount proves decent enough to push "Shrek the Third" down to number three after the animated adventure only makes its way to add another $28 million into its pocket.
