Oren Moverman's 'The Messenger' Debuts Trailer

Released at Apple, the sneak peek shares a taste of the hard time a U.S. Army officer has to deal with when he delivers bad news to the loved ones of fallen soldiers.
Ben Foster is Will Montgomery, a U.S. Army officer who has just returned home from a tour in Iraq. Partnered with fellow officer Tony Stone (Woody Harrelson), he is assigned to the Army's Casualty Notification service, one of the worst jobs in the Army. Seeking to find comfort and healing himself, he finds himself drawn to Olivia, to whom he has just delivered the news of her husband's death, and enters an ethical dilemma.

One of the best movies of the year, and Ben Foster deserves to win an Oscar for his performance.
