'Meet Dave' Rolled Down Red Carpet in L.A.
July 09, 2008 04:07:27On Tuesday, July 8, the 20th Century Fox held a special celebration for their latest comedy movie "Meet Dave". Marking the first screening of the Eddie Murphy-starring film, the studio rolled down red carpet in front of the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California for the film's world premiere.
Attending the special event were some of the cast ensemble, Elizabeth Banks, Gabrielle Union, Ed Helms, Scott Caan and Marc Blucas, and director Brian Robbins. One of the film's stars left unspotted on the special night was Murphy. The comedian could not attend the premiere because he is said to be shooting for his other movie "A Thousand Words".

Eddie Murphy's 'Meet Dave' Trailer Hits!
March 25, 2008 02:03:22The first trailer for the sci-fi comedy starring the comic man Eddie Murphy "Meet Dave" has been circulating in the Internet. The high resolution trailer runs a fraction more than two minutes and gives out much of the comical looks from the 20th Century Fox's flick.
The trailer begins with a pair of white shoes shot followed with a scene showing a man wearing a white suit, which happens to be Murphy, walking amidst the New Yorkers. A short while following that a narrator starts and simultaneously Murphy's character got a hard hit from a car passing the road. As the trailer goes on, it can be seen that the white suit Murphy is actually an alien spaceship controlled by a crew of miniature people led by Captain Murphy.
