157192, they can't have j.p direct it coz, they can change the script so that they don't have to pay him for the story and he would have very little say in how it would be made,yes he could write a will saying that it can't be made for so long after he died but he still has ages to live, I know a load of ppl will kill me for this but maybe it shouldn't be made into a film so that they can't riun it.I'm just saying !!!!

Any one in favor of what I'm about to sat, post a comment. It makes me soooo mad that there are people who have been commenting on this website since 2007, and it's always the same questions over and over. There is no cast yet, there is no movie yet, there is no REAL information yet. If you find something that might give a clue as to when auditions are, brownie points for you! POST IT!!! The world wants to know! They need to just go to a random school and hold auditions. "New, undiscovered actors and actresses"? Go to school. There are plenty of people who want to act who can't because they don't live in New York or where ever, who care where they live. Or better yet, if James Patterson wants new people to be in the cast, HE should hold the auditions. HE should write the script, find the cast, do whatever it is that needs to be done because it's HIS book becoming a movie, and he knows well enough that most books that become movies are totally ruined. His books are so popular that he should know that people are going to be ticked off if it's ruined. Someone, just do me a favor and write and send a letter to James Patterson telling him this. Or better yet, we could all send him letters telling him this. Or we could print off these posts and send them. One person can't do much, but if we all do something small, we could probably catch someone's attention. Please, please, PLEASE help me get the point across! P.S. Iggy is the best but gazzy is his aprentice. they could both blow anything up but Iggy is the better. It may seem otherwise because Gazzy has to help him with the sight issue.

I need help. I have forgotten who is the best with explosives. The gasman or iggy. In The Angle Experiment it has iggy making the bomb getting gasman to trace the yellow wire but in Max (I think) it sais you can put gazzy in a room with a tooth pick and some chewy and he will find a way to make it exploded. Is one better than the other or are they as good as each other

I don't have Summer holidays. I live in australia and we have 4 holidays spread out threw the year. 3 go for 2 weeks then on Christmas they go for 5 weeks. My third holiday for the year is in 2 weeks. And it's winter in the middle of the year and summer during Christmas so no snow ;( but it is really hot so I can just go to the beach 8)

I hate waiting for the next book in the series to come out. It's so boring. I've got nothing to do. And when the next book dose come out I'll read it in like 3 hours then have to wate ages for the next one to come out. Then I'll read the series and watch the movie over and over again (if the movie is out and is good. Not shit) and then repeat the process when the next book comes out. the actors are gonna be way too old anyway but keep in mind that the flock look taller and older than most people. when they were questioned by the FBI in book 2, the guy interrogating gazzy didn't believe he was only 8.

The cherub series is about a boy named James and in the first book "the recurit" he is orphaned then recurited by an agency called cherub where kids aged 10-17 go on missions around the world but it will never be as good a MR

And when fang dose come back won't he and the flock all have better mutations than max because of what they put in the water and fangs iv drip when he died or will they all mutate and look like mr chu when his mask came off

And I think in the next book fang and max meat up to save the world and fang would have his own flock of Mutants that wouldent nessarily have wings and fang would of gathered them threw his blog. I think it would be set just after the last book in the series. Only 7 more months until the next book angle comes out

Wouldn't the actors get taller and look different because it's taken about 3 years to tell us the movie will be released in 2011-2013 and over that time the cast could change a bit because or there age and pubity and all this other stuff but they could probably fix any changes using special effects or something and over the series of books the flock would of changed a bit anyway. appa- You were wrong about Max's hair color. In the first three books, it's blond with highlights. After Antarctica, it's brown with a fair ammount of red and some blond.

ive been reading all the comments on here for a while and alot of them are really interesting. i mean the next book could be called ANGEL and that kinda scares me I mean angel used to be really sweet and once they started to get help from adults she became less depentant on max and she becomes sorta evil she even kicked max out of the flock and later pointed a gun at Max seriously max practically raised her and that is how she repays max and also in FANG Fang leaves the flock thats so sad I read that letter over and over i actually went into depression after i read that book (not really but still) Seariously the first epilouge was good but then james patterson just had to make Fang leave that just completely sucked i couldnt believe it why did he have to make a second epilouge the first one was fine but no he just had to ruin it but i guess he could fix it by making the 7th book which im not even sure is being made also if catherine hardwicke is directing the movie i will not be happy about it i mean twilight is a good book but the movie wasnt all that great even though it was ok but i WILL BE PISSED if Robert pattinson and kristen stewart play max and fang cause that would ttly ruin the movie They have twilight let us have our Maximum Ride!

well, 157192, I don't think the wings are tachnically animation, but they r special effects and that will take a long time unfortunatly. I think its most likley to come out in 2012. If any of you are extremely bored and need a dose of mr, i wrote my idea of the 7th mr book on fanfiction. there its fanglover18 and the stories called traitors, wings, and decisions. Its kinda long and bad and i only have the first chap but its there and i could really use some reviews and ideas.

Out of random curiosity, are there any people out there who REALLY wnt to audition to be in the cast, but know it most likley WON'T happen? I want to audition to be Max, but 1)James Patterson isn't responding to my letters, 2) I can't find where to send reumes and such and 3) there isn't a casting director. i started the first book at 10 am an finished at 10 pm. and i'm only 12! this book was so facinating and if the movie is a good as the book, well j.p is gonna be more famous than he already is. it was a recomended book for 7th and 8th graders and my mom is the only parent in the whole shool who makes me read all the books. i thought it would be boring but i literally judged the book by its cover. i wont do that again!

About the release date... it comes out this summer, this Christmas, in 2011, in 2021, and in 2013. HA-HA. Honestly, people, don't post a release date unless it's concrete solid. I, personally, think that it's most likely to come out in 2012 or 2013 because of all of the animation they'll have to do. I mean, I don't know much about computer animation, but I do know that it takes a while. All in favor of anything I said, please post a comment.

The only reason I read the books was because a friend reccomended them. I was in love them as soon as I read the first book. As soon as I heard about the movie I was like "Ahhhhh I have GOT to see it!!!!" Ever since them I've been trying to learn more about the movie. Can't wait for it :)

ahh! don't rub it in,haha. i still hav another week because of the snow armogadden of 2010. we missed weeks of school, which u might think would b fun but the snow was either 2 soft or hard 2 sled, u couldnt walk without falling, it was 2 cold outside and we hav 2 make up the time. it ttly sucks. well at least im done with my final exams though i probably bombed part 2 of my math exam. It's going to be upsetting to see Kristen and Robert and Max and Fang. We have enough seeing them together in Twilight, they shouldn't play the roles of the best series EVER. If Catherine directs it and the Twilight main Chars come out i'll just stick to the books as much as i've been wanting to watch the movie. Just dont wanna waste my time and be even more dissapointed with the movie. If you have read the books then you know neither Kristen or Robert fit the roles as Max or Fang.

Do you people even know what the books are about? This is atrocius, the hardships they faced are more than signifagent in the book. The movie, as long as no one runes it, should be fabulus and trullly defines the meaning of friendship, trust, awarness, and hardships in order to accomplish a common goal. the story isnt just about Max and Fang or how "hot" the actors should be. When they choose actors to represent the charactors in the book, They should do both the roles and the book justice. Thank You To The Flock and author.

The Maximum Ride books are by far the best series I have ever read. I especially adore all of the characters. Patterson did an awesome job with them. After reading all the Max Ride books, I went back and read When the Wind Blows, and The Lake House. They were great too!!!!!

i mean honestly i cant stand waiting for the thrird book...i SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to read it. and so far i liked the first book, but the hole story together just rockes my world,lol!

i heard that there makin it animated, they better not coz that wud luk sooo rubbish seriously, an they better not make it too childish coz wen u read it it dont sound childish! and hurry up with bringin it out! lol and dont hold auditions in america coz i wanan lol

This movie better pretty good. The Director is the same dude that made Spiderman and the X-man so it will have awesome graphics. And i agree that after reading Maximum Ride that you just can't read any other books!

ok does anyone feel like me that after reading the maximum ride books...you get so obsessed that whenever you start a new book it bores you to death and you think it's a waste of your time because can even start to compare with max because it is this overwhelming feeling/love that you cannot control?????????????!!!!!!!!!! that's how i feel!!!!! so i end up reading the 3 MaxRide books over and over and over and over but the funny thing is i never get tired of them and OMG I AM SOOOO SIKED for the 4th book and the movie!!!!!!!!!!!! i love max and the flock just beyond words but none of my friends understand my obsession cuz they haven't read it but i love being around people who feel the same way as i do about these books and can relate to my love/obsession/world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ever since i started reading max...i believed every bit of it and fell in love with the flock and now i look at every situation differently and max CRACKS ME UP she is sooooooo cool and i ammm sooooooooo jealous even if she is always complaining about her "sucky" life it is still sooo cool to me and has got to be much better than being stuck in suburbia going to a stupid high school with stupid BF's and i wish sam was my BF him and max r so cute 2gether but i think fang and max r even cuter together...well tthat is all from me now.

This movie better be as good as the books. I cant wait for the 4th book to come out. Holy crap your an idiot the last 6 months of there lives wasnt a dream did u only read half the book or something. lol best books iv ever read next is the golden compass series but thats for a different movie so im not going to talk about it.
