2008 San Diego Comic Con Wrap Up (Part 1/2)

The Hollywood Reporter has came up with news informing that the beauty has landed deals to star in both "Iron Man" and "The Bachelorette Party." Bibb, widely known for her role in The WB's teenage dramedy "Popular", last seen on the silver screen in "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby", which has grossed over $148 million in U.S. only.

The political thriller, tentatively titled "V for Vendetta", has seized the box office's throne from its predecessor comedy romance "Failure to Launch", taking in an estimated $26.1 million to become the No. 1 movie in the US.
Last week's top movie, the romantic comedy "Failure to Launch" automatically drops one to 2nd place with $15.8 million. Last week's runner-up, "The Shaggy Dog," also slips one place to No. 3 brings in $13.6 million in ticket sales. Elsewhere, the new release "She's the Man" debuts at No.4 with $11 million in tickets sold.

Leading this year nominations is "Son of the Mask" which picks up eight nominations all at once, including Worst Picture, Worst Actor for Jamie Kennedy, Worst Supporting Actor for Alan Cumming and Bob Hoskins, Worst Director for Lawrence Guterman, Worst Screenplay, Worst Sequel or Remake, and Worst Screen Couple.
Following close behind is "The Dukes of Hazzard," with Jessica Simpson ups for Worst Supporting Actress and Worst Screen Couple for her 'Daisy Dukes' hotpants. Other nominated films include "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo," "House of Wax," "Dirty Love," and "The Dukes of Hazzard."
