There's a "Link" Between Disney and Walt Becker
April 03, 2007 01:04:30Apparently pretty satisfied with the work of Walt Becker in its biker comedy "Wild Hogs", Walt Disney Pictures has once more hired the Hollywood-born filmmaker to helm its new big screen project entitled "Link."
Based on Becker's 1998 novel of the same name, the flick will be an action adventure comedy that revolves around a paleontologist and maverick scientist who embark on a search of the missing link. While a screenwriter is still in search, it is learned that Mandeville partners David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are both set to produce.

All About Fast Food Nation
December 20, 2005 01:12:17Peter Rice, the president of Fox Searchlight Pictures, has outed statement announced that the studio has acquired North American distribution rights to "Fast Food Nation." Based on Eric Schlosser's nonfiction best-seller of the same title, the film is about to be directed by Richard Linklater.
Of thriller genre, "Fast Food Nation" tells the story of an ensemble piece examining the health risks involved in the fast food industry and its environmental and social consequences as well. With its principal photography has just completed, the flick is slated for a 2006 release date.
