July 23, 2007 10:07:28It's obvious now that moviegoers are rather inclined to have laughs in spending their weekend in theaters this time as "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" surprisingly goes straight to the top place of weekend domestic box office ended July 22 despite bad reviews.
Raking in a hefty $34.2 million, the Universal comedy thereby successfully knocks "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" down to number two, but, on the other hand, only makes a narrow gap between them for the fifth installment of the teen wizard adventures turns out to score slightly below at $32.5 million.

July 16, 2007 11:07:35Looks like people coming to theaters have been deeply under spell over the weekend with the arrival of the fifth installment of the mega-hit fantasy franchise, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Already raked in nearly $65 million throughout its Wednesday (July 11) and Thursday (July 12) screenings, the teen wizard tale effortlessly pulls fantastic sum of $77.1 million from 4,285 cinemas, including those of IMAX, to thereby collect a total domestic gross of $139.7 million so far and take over the top spot of the box office running July 13-15, 2007 from sci-fi actioner "Transformers."

Warner Bros. Gives Williams & Moore License to Wed
April 03, 2006 09:04:09Fellow movie stars Robin Williams and Mandy Moore have both been granted "License to Wed" by Warner Bros. Pictures. While the twosome has agreed to star in, John Krasinski is still in early talks to join them.
"License to Wed" is a drama comedy romance flick revolves around a young couple whose wedding plans are interrupted when the pushy minister (Williams) of the bride's family church orders the pair to complete a two-week prenup course. They must pass the class if they want to marry in his church. The groom fails the course and loses the girl but fights to win her back.
