George Clooney's 'Leatherheads' Premiere to Be Enjoyed Live Online
March 28, 2008 02:03:06As the upcoming romantic comedy "Leatherheads" is nearing its theatrical release date, it is reported that Universal Pictures have worked together with NowLive to bring the world premiere of the George Clooney's film online. On its website, NowLive announced that the site would have the film's Live Interactive Red Carpet Coverage on Monday, March 31, 2008 starting at 6:30 P.M. PST.
The site also provides widget embedding for fans to be involved in the Live Interactive Premiere. Further, it was explained that the widget can be embedded so that fans can get automatic update from the broadcast premiere as well as do interactive chat with the stars during the broadcast. John Krasinski Approaching "Leatherheads"
December 01, 2006 04:12:28"The Office" star John Krasinski is heading toward his next big screen role. The funnyman has been reported to be currently in negotiations to have a starring slot in "Leatherheads", a 1920s football romantic comedy of Universal Pictures production.
Up to this point, the project has already included George Clooney and Renee Zellweger in the cast lineup. Clooney himself has been confirmed to also take the director's seat while penning the script which he works on with Steven Schiff.

September 18, 2006 03:09:48Seems eager to continue taking double jobs, George Clooney has smoothly signed on to both star and direct Universal Pictures's new project of football-themed film feature entitled "Leatherheads", Variety has reported.
In accordance with this deal, Clooney will also re-write the script while his Smoke House Productions partner Grant Heslov is set to produce alongside Casey Silver with Renee Zellweger in negotiations to co-star the picture.
