The Kingdom Los Angeles Premiere Packed with Big Names
September 18, 2007 05:09:53Handfuls of notable Hollywood figures ignited massive excitement from fans and moviegoers alike when they blended together nicely to attend the L.A. premiere for Peter Berg's "The Kingdom" on Monday night (September 17).
Taking place at Mann Village Theater in Westwood, Los Angeles, the special occasion marked the gathering of the film's cast members consisting of Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Chris Cooper, Jeremy Piven, Kyle Chandler, and Minka Kelly. Big portion of attention inevitably went to Garner as the lead female, who looked dazzling in her long, red dress.

Awful Tragedy Hit "The Kingdom" Set
August 15, 2006 12:08:18A terrible incident occurred Saturday, August 12 on the set of Universal's "The Kingdom." An assistant propmaster named Nick Papac experienced a car crash while driving a motorized cart along a closed section of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Mesa, Arizona, resulting in the death of the 25-year-old man.
Based on the reports about the tragedy, the crash happened when Papac's vehicle accidentally collided with an SUV carrying director Peter Berg, and so caused the guy being thrown from his vehicle and experienced severe head injuries. He then was immediately airlifted to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Jeremy Piven Summoned to "The Kingdom"
August 09, 2006 03:08:53"The Kingdom" gets one more talent to be included in its cast list. "Cupid" star Jeremy Piven has given his agreement to fill the role of an American diplomat in Saudi Arabia who assists an elite team of U.S. government agents sent to the Middle East, Variety has reported.
Doing so, Piven therefore is the latest actor to join the project after Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner, plus Jason Bateman. The man previously was seen playing Daryl Sabara's father in "Keeping Up with the Steins" and has already wrapped up "Smokin' Aces" for Universal Pictures.
