superb read , very inspiring , strenghth and determination ,

I have just finished reading the book (only took me 3 days as I simply couldn't put it down). An extremely powerful read and I have a feeling the film will be even better. What a great man Kevin is and a true inspiration to us all. Very much the film is a success. Well done to all involved.

Ths is a MUST for all parents to watch...fantastic and moving film. Kevin is a truly amazing guy and an inspiration to anyone who knows him. Hope the film does well and that we can stop child abuse!

The book is powerful and is a message of hope and determination from a broken man. I know people that were involved in the making of the film and know they found it a real pleasure to be part of such a real story. I think there is a clear messsage here, life is as you make it. Released 17th Sept Nationwide, showing on most listings.

I worked with Kevin for 3/4 years and thought I knew him reasonably well, he was a salesman and everything a salesman known to be, cocky, arrogant - you wouldnt associate him with the boy or man in the book, no talk ever of being a streetfighter ( I'd think he would have mentioned that ! ) I think the whole thing is exaggerated, but if he is making maony, thats all that mattered to Kevin !

I'm in this film as an extra Nick Moran is a fantastic director got everybody really motivated it was a pleasure working with him and the rest of the cast. They ware the most friendly and down to eath people I've worked with.

Is it really a true story because my friend met Kevin Lewis and has has no noticable scars on face or hands? I dont think he can have been a bare knuckle fighter, those guys are properly messed up

release date is now october, there will be a Directors Q&As session plus the trailor for the kid at the David Lean Theatre on april 22nd, hope this helps
