More Hollywood Titles Added to the 2007 TIFF Lineup

Compiling the most Hollywood-friendly lineup in years, organizers of this year's Toronto International Film Festival have smoothly added handfuls of high-profile U.S. titles into the list in its announcement for the full slate of the event Wednesday, August 22, 2007.

Among them, five are submitted into Gala Programme section, which will open with Jeremy Podeswa's drama "." All set to be presented at Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall, they include ensemble drama "", thriller mystery "", Harold Pinter-scripted "", cop-turned-street-cleaner thriller "", and romantic drama "."

Expanding its cast lineup, "" has smoothly added four more Hollywood stars namely , Maggie Grace, Kevin Zegers, and Amy Brenneman in its high-profile list already containing the likes of , , , Ellen Burstyn, and Jimmy Smits.

Dancy will play a sci-fi fan and computer whiz named Grigg while Grace is billed as the lesbian daughter of Brenneman's character Sylvia, who is left by her husband Daniel (Smits) after thirty two years of marriage, and Zegers as an oversexed teen who gets entangled in a romantic relationship with one of the club's members.

Lining up to make a great cast, five stars namely , , , Ellen Burstyn, and Jimmy Smits have given their agreement to take part in "", a big screen adaptation of Joy Fowlers' bestselling novel of the same title.

Set to direct by Robin Swicord, the project will likely to closely follow the book's story which focuses on six California residents who join a club discussing Jane Austen's novels. During the meetings, marriages are tested and affairs begin while unsuitable arrangements become suitable and love flourishes. Production is expected to begin by early November in Los Angeles.
