This movie was fantastic and Hoffman was incredibly endearing and sweet. Normally, I couldn't see him playing successfully in that kind of role, but he exceeded expectations by far.

this is going to be as bad as it gets - one thing Hoffman has never been able to achieve is romance - lighthearted or otherwise. Look for his directorial debut of jack goes Boating to take on water and sink dreadfully into the sea
