Peace Arch Takes Hold on "A West Texas Children's Story"

Strikes a real great deal, Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. has successfully secured all distribution rights outside the U.S to ensemble drama feature "A West Texas Children's Story" in its further step to expand its portfolio of film, television and DVD productions.

"Reminiscent of great coming of age films like 'Paper Moon' and 'Stand By Me,' 'A West Texas Children's Story' is a truly universal tale set to appeal to a wide range of audiences the world over," Penny Wolf, managing director of Peace Arch's theatrical films sales division Peace Arch Films, commented as she expressed her delight in acquiring the movie.

Val Kilmer Takes A Trip to "West Texas"

Moving to independent feature, Val Kilmer has given his agreement to take a starring role in "A West Texas Children's Story", a feature directorial debut of Brad Isaacs who is also on duty to pen the script.

Currently in production in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the picture follows two teenagers as they conduct a cross-country trip in search of adventure and a better life. Matthew Modine, Lara Flynn Boyle, AnnaSophia Robb, and Cayden Boyd are also starring with Polly Platt, Ryan Howe, and Thom Mount executive producing.

Cayden Boyd did a amazing job in this movie as well as annaSophia. he is such a really good actor and the main reason that makes this film good.
