'H2: Halloween 2' Goes to Hollywood for Premiere
August 25, 2009 04:08:01With its theatrical release fast approaching, "H2: Halloween 2" celebrated its Los Angeles premiere on Monday, August 24. Held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the special screening event for the 2007's "Halloween" sequel saw the attendance of the horror film's cast ensemble and crew.
Embracing the bloodfest tone of the movie, Scout Taylor-Compton, who portrays lead character Laurie Strode, and Brea Grant, who plays Laurie's friend Mya Rockwell, donned red mini dress to the premiere. Meanwhile, Michael Myers' depicter Tyler Mane went casual with buttoned-up white shirt and a pair of jeans.

'H2: Halloween 2' Unleashes Two Fresh Clips
August 20, 2009 11:08:23Two brand new clips from the much awaited "H2: Halloween 2" have made their way out. Less than a minute long, one comes out officially via MSN while the other one is posted by Bloody-Disgusting. Each of the snippets features a shocking discovery made by Scout Taylor-Compton's Laurie Strode and Danielle Harris' Annie Brackett.
The "In the Mirror" clip takes a look at the time Annie prepares to take a bath before realizing that Michael Myers is standing behind her. Meanwhile, the "Call 911" clip from MSN focuses on the scene wherein Laurie and Brea Grant's Mya Rockwell find bleeding Annie in the bathroom. While the two are seeking help, Myers launches his attack.

Featuring some of the footage shown in previous trailer, this newly-found one gives out never-before-seen footage as well as provides clues into the film's secret.
In addition to this unused trailer, a brand new clip of "H2" was previewed during director Rob Zombie and actress Sheri Moon Zombie's interview with PIX 11 Morning News. Detailed Info on 'H2: Halloween 2' Soundtrack
July 31, 2009 02:07:45Details of "Halloween II - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" have been disclosed. Co-produced by film director Rob Zombie, the soundtrack album for "H2: Halloween 2" is set to be outed in U.S. stores on August 25, three days before the "Halloween" sequel lets out its terror in theaters across the country.
A number of tracks in the album will be filled with dialog from the film, whereas the rest will feature music from such musicians as Motorhead, Moody Blues, Scream, Rod Stewart, MC5, 10cc and Foghat. The named artists take on classic tracks ranging from "Nights in White Satin" and "The Things We Do For Love" to "(I Know) I'm Losing You".

'H2: Halloween 2' Unveils Two New Stills
July 29, 2009 03:07:21A month before its release, new stills for Rob Zombie-directed film "H2: Halloween 2" have been revealed. One of the new images was released by Shock Till You Drop, while the other one was debuted on Dread Central. Both of the pictures highlight on female lead Scout Taylor-Compton's Laurie Strode.
The picture from Shock Till You Drop features Laurie being put under threat by Tyler Mane's Michael Myers. The psychopathic killer is seen trying to cut Laurie's neck with his blade while his left hand pulls her hair to keep her in place. The photo from Dread Central, in the meantime, shows a close-up image of Laurie in a waitress costume and covered with blood.

No 'Halloween 3' for Rob Zombie
July 27, 2009 03:07:46There may never be another "Halloween" film for director Rob Zombie. Being interviewed by MTV at San Diego Comic Con 2009 during which he promoted his upcoming movie "H2: Halloween 2", the director stated that he will not make a third "Halloween" movie, saying "No. I could not see that in any shape, way or form. Never."
However, Zombie, who previously directed "Houses of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects", refused to explain why he is unwilling to be involved in the third installment of the film. "If I told you [why], you wouldn't believe me," he stated. He moreover added that he doesn't have desire to share his reason, saying "And, I don't want to tell you."

May 29, 2009 02:05:35Dimension Films have made use of YouTube to uncover a new featurette for their upcoming "H2: Halloween 2". Filled with commentary from director Rob Zombie, production crew as well as some of the cast, this behind-the-scenes video runs for less than two minutes but does bring in some never-before-seen footage from the horror film.
In the video, Rob explains that the whole movie is totally fresh before stating the differences between the first movie and this one. Supporting Rob's statement among others is special effects makeup designer Wayne Toth. He insists that this "Halloween" sequel is grittier and a little more realistic than the first one.

The subject of Myers being unmasked for 70% of the movie has also been clarified by Zombie who told Slash Film that it is an utter "bullshit". He explained, "It is total bullshit. See, I think Wayne Toth [SFX] said [70% mask-less] when you guys were down on the set. Wayne wasn't bullshitting you, but that was taken out of context, and to an extreme [online]."

The trailer starts with Scout Taylor-Compton's Laurie Strode being taken to the hospital after she kills Michael Myers. It shares a snippet at Myers' new mask and quick glimpses of young Michael. The more than two minutes video also brings forth Michael's mother as played by Sheri Moon Zombie. Here, she is seen as some ghostly vision haunting her son's mind and urging him to kill.

This is the leaked version of what will be debuted on Yahoo! Movies Friday, April 24. Presenting more than what has been teased on Entertainment Tonight's preview, the trailer promises that the movie will reveal Michael Myers' madness.
The raw look at what the movie has to offer opens with a voice of a girl saying that she killed a man followed with a hospital scene and the brutal slashing of a nurse by Michael. 'Halloween' Sequel Coming Out in Summer
January 03, 2009 10:01:07Instead of scaring up moviegoers on the Halloween week, the sequel of "Halloween", "H2", will be coming out sooner. According to Bloody-Disgusting, Dimension Films have officially placed the horror thriller movie for U.S. release on the August 28 slate in place of "Tyrannosaurus Rex".
While the set release date puts "H2" to be up against Screen Gems comedy "Max's Mardi Gras", it has the same time frame as its predecessor which has been debuted in the theaters on August 31, 2007 and took the #1 spot at the box office. Originally, the movie's director/writer Rob Zombie had indirectly hinted at an October debut.
