"" has done better than what Paramount Pictures expected it to be, and thus more firm words stating a sequel project to the live-action adaptation is being developed have been uttered. According to Los Angeles Times, the studio's vice chairman, Rob Moore, has confirmed that the sequel "will soon go into development".

All of the "G.I. Joe" lead actors are contractually obligated to return for another installment. Some of whom, which included , , and , had admitted they are locked for the follow-up movie during an Australian Press Conference for the film. However, director Stephen Sommers is not.

Two weeks shy of its theatrical release, "" has got a brand new clip, two TV spots and a featurette released for viewing pleasure. The clip comes out courtesy of RTE Entertainment, while one of the TV spots is outed via StephenSommers.com and the featurette gets out via MSN.

The clip sees the scene where 's General Hawk welcomes 's Duke and ' Ripcord. It also features the footage in which Ripcord is trying to make his move on ' Scarlett. Both of the made-for-television promos, on the other hand, focus more on the action the movie is offering.

Packed with action sequences, both snippets feature the G.I. Joe team in hot pursuit of a MARS Scarab carrying 's The Baroness and Lee Byung-Hun's Storm Shadow.

In both clips, 's Duke and ' Ripcord are displaying what their Delta-6 Accelerator Suits are capable of doing while chasing the SUV in the streets of Paris. One of the clips presents glimpses of some impressive moves by 's Snake Eyes as well as what the MARS Scarab has hidden under its hood.

Two more character posters of "" have made their way out. Uncovered by Latino Review, each of the two brand new one-sheets gives away another take on the two masked ninjas in the film, 's Snake Eyes of the G.I. Joes and Lee Byung-Hun's Storm Shadow of the Cobras.

These character posters came out a day after a series of new "G.I. Joe" stills was uncovered. Some of the photos exhibit the G.I. Joe team, which includes ' Scarlett, Said Taghmaoui's Breaker, and ' Ripcord among others, in their black figure-hugging costume. Some others highlight on Storm Shadow in the act.

Words that director Stephen Sommers being shunt out from "" apparently hold no truth in them. In an interview with Latino Review, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has set things straight, saying "It's very unfair to Steve, it's completely untrue he was never asked to leave or been fired or any of that. That's ridiculous. The movie tested very well."

When the site mentioned that the screening test result is as good as "", the producer declined to compare "G.I. Joe" with other movies. Another "" live-action character has been exposed. Bringing forward what is claimed to be the first look of Storm Shadow's uncle, Latino Review posted a picture of Gerald Okamura in his Hard Master costume. The photo is said to be taken outside the actor's trailer when the movie was taking its principal photography in the Downey area.

Okamura's character, Hard Master, is known as the ninja master of the Arashikage clan. He is the one who trains both Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes, and is believed to have something to do with the rivalry between the two. In the comic book, his death leads to Snake Eyes leaving the clan, while Storm Shadow joining Cobra.

Few days after media brought up the news of the terrible car crash on the set of the much awaited "", they come again with another accident reports related to other movie's production. On Saturday, April 26, it is reported that a collision between a bus and several cars occurred during the filming of Paramount Pictures' "" in the center of Prague.

Reportedly, the car crash incident happened near the action film's shooting area. It isn't clear though whether the "G.I. Joe" crew were involved in the accident or not as reports on the matter only related the mishap to the Stephen Sommers-directed film. Prague police spokeswoman Eva Brozova explained, "It happened in a closed area that was rented out to the filmmakers for the weekend." Further, it is noted that seven people were slightly injured on the accident as David Minowski, a spokesperson of local production house Stilling Films, claimed.

The villain High Priest Imhotep in "The Mummy" series has reportedly joined the cast of action movie "". According to IESB.net, Arnold Vosloo has been cast by director Stephen Sommers to depict the main bad guy Zartan in the film based on Hasbro's action figures.

i would flat out RUN home from middle school so I wouldn't miss a thing. i would sing the opening theme song and turn the tv on at the right time, ALWAYS. this was my life when I was 12/13. i had always fantasized about a live action movie .. . WOW!
