'From Within' Trailer Presents Unusual Terror
December 15, 2008 02:12:35A small community in Grovetown has been hit with a series of suicides. While some believe that there is nothing to be feared about, others figure out the hard way that the fear does not lay only in their imagination. Instead, it is the real deal and it comes within themselves. Those are the base of "From Within" plot outed through the film's new trailer.
The less than two minutes video footage first displays that there is an oddity in the rising number of suicide death in a small town of Grovetown. Then, it is suggested that the rash of suicides may be caused by the town's secret which is a curse. The trailer continues to expose how some people in the town are haunted by their own selves.

After Dark's 'From Within' Gets Two Chilling Clips
November 05, 2008 03:11:18Sharing a first look into the horror of "From Within", Celsius Entertainment unleashed two clips cut from the Phedon Papamichael's horror thriller. Both clips consist of more-than-a-minute length footage. They also highlight on young girl being chased around by dark evil, who takes the girl's physical form and makes them do suicide.
A small, God-fearing town of Grovetown has been hit with a series of suicides, causing fear and panic among local residents. While people around her continue to die gruesomely, 18-year-old Lindsay, who is caught in between her Christian upbringing and her desire to experience the outside world, begins to distrust everyone and suspect that she would be the next victim.

Two More Horror Flicks Added to 'After Dark Horrorfest III'
October 06, 2008 10:10:41On Sunday, October 5, Bloody-Disgusting reported that two more horror movies, "Dying Breed" and "Autopsy", have fallen into After Dark Horrorfest III's line-up for their "8 Films to Die for". The additional two films join the five previously announced collections that include "From Within", "The Broken", "Slaughter (2009)", "Perkins 14" and "The Butterfly Effect: Revelation".
"Dying Breed" is a horror thriller from director Jody Dwyer. It is said to be inspired by the legends of a 19th-century cannibal and an extinct tiger and tells the story of four friends who discover deathly mystery lurking in Australian bush. Meanwhile, "Autopsy" comes from one of the "Mother of Tears" writers, Adam Gierasch. The Seven Arts Pictures film centers its story on a woman in search of her injured boyfriend in a bizarre and dangerous hospital.

Third 'After Dark Horrorfest' Pushed Back
September 19, 2008 11:09:39The third annual After Dark Horrorfest '8 Films to Die For' event has been postponed. Reported firstly by Shock Till You Drop, the horror film festival featuring eight independent horror movies from After Dark Films is now scheduled to be kicked off on January 9, 2009 and wrapped up on January 15, 2009. The new dates put the special event to be started a week after its original plan on January 2 to 9.
Putting the revised dates aside, the organizers of the event have revealed where Horrorfest takes place, letting out the 30 cities which have been selected for the event. The list include Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, San Diego, Washington, DC and New York. The rest of the city listing can be read at Horrorfest's official site.

After Dark Horrorfest Adds 'From Within'
September 05, 2008 10:09:56Phedon Papamichael's thriller "From Within" has been announced to be the latest horror film selection to be included in After Dark Horrorfest III's line-up of the "8 Films to Die for". Outed on Wednesday, September 3, by After Dark Films' CEO Courtney Solomon, it will be joining the other previously-selected movies, "The Broken", "Slaughter (2009)", "Perkins 14" and "The Butterfly Effect: Revelation".
Sharing his excitement upon knowing that the film starring Elizabeth Rice, Thomas Dekker, Kelly Blatz, Laura Allen, Adam Goldberg and Rumer Willis has become the fifth film on the list, producer Adrian Butchart stated, "We've been fans of the After Dark Horrorfest '8 Films to Die For' series since it blasted onto the scene two years ago. We feel that we are in great company this year since the films look to be the best yet. We are delighted to have 'From Within' take part in the latest installment."
